SMW commissioner Bob Armstrong has announced that due to an injury suffered by Stan Lane at Saturday Night's tag team title defense against The Southern Boys, the Smoky Mountain tag team titles are now vacant. The injury took place in a title match where after a leapfrog, Lane landed wrong, injuring his knee. Doctors say he could be out of wrestling for at least 6 weeks. Armstrong says that he and the rest of SMW wishes Lane well and hopes he gets better soon. No one wants an injury in the ring. As for the tag team belts, Armstrong says he will address them this week on TV.
