Marc Lowrance opens the show.
Lowrance, “Welcome to ‘Global Championship Wrestling’. The action gets hotter and hotter. We have the North American Champion in action, and we will talk more about the big show at Tarrant County. Let’s get things started with Doyle King.”
Match #1
“Outlaw” Joel Deaton w/Buddy Roberts vs. Steven Dane
Buddy “Tex” Roberts has angered the Dallas fans with his act, but never overlook the fact he has very good wrestlers in his stable. The Outlaw is no exception. Deaton is very aggressive and takes the fight to Dane. Steve is very quick and holds his own. Roberts shouts instructions from ringside. Deaton finishes things with a bulldog.
Winner- Joel Deaton
Match #2
Axis the Demolisher vs. Derek Dukes
The veteran meets the athletic youngster. Dukes tries to use his speed to elude Axis. He does it for a while, but the Demolisher catches him. He punishes Dukes, and wins with the cobra hold. Axis is a threat to anyone in the GWF.
Winner- Axis the Demolisher
Marc Lowrance is seated in the studio.
Lowrance, “Fans, March 4 is fast approaching, along with the big show at Tarrant County. It’s going to be an exciting night of wrestling in the Metroplex. Here is what we know so far.
The Global Tag Team Title will be on the line when the champions, Bobby Duncum Jr. and Big John Hawk defend against Tribal Nation.
The North American Title is on the line when the ‘California Stud’ Rod Price defends against the Texas Legend Kevin Von Erich. Kevin’s career May be winding down. Does he have enough left for one last run? We will see at Tarrant County.
We can add two more matches tonight.
‘Hurricane’ Mike Dahl defends the Global Jr. Heavyweight Title against Manuel Villalobos.
And based on the happenings of the past two weeks we have a tag team grudge match. On one side, General Skandor Akbar and his men, the Super Destroyer and Black Bart. On the other, Iceman King Parsons and Gentleman Chris Adams. Let’s hear from The Iceman and Chris.”
Iceman King Parsons and Gentleman Chris Adams are in an interview area.
Adams, “Akbar, you talk about dealing with us for a long time, well Iceman and I Feel the same way about you. You have been a blight on Texas for many years. It’s time we did something about it.”
Parsons, “Have Mercy! Chris Adams said it all! Akbar, your time has come, it’s time to chase you out of Texas, because mama says it bees that way sometimes!”
Match #3
Non-Title Match
“Hurricane” Mike Dahl (Global Jr. Heavyweight Champion) vs. Chris Walker
The Junior Heavyweight Champion takes on the muscular Walker. This match should stay within the rules. Both men exchange holds and counter holds. Walker gets a near fall, but Dahl kicks out. The Champion takes over and wins with a sunset flip.
Winner-Mike Dahl
Match #4
Tribal Nation vs. “Hollywood” John Tatum and “Maniac” Mike Davis
Nocona and Brave Sky have a shot at the Global Tag Team Title on March 4. They are a veteran team who could very well take the titles that night. Tatum and Davis will be a good test. Nocona starts with Tatum. The Native American starts fast and Tatum is overwhelmed. He rolls out of the ring and confers with Davis. I don’t know what kind of advice the “Maniac” can give him. He returns to the ring and locks up. Nocona continues to control the action, and tags in his brother. Brave Sky goes to work. Davis tags in and his unorthodox style confuses Brave Sky. He rallies and wins with a sunset flip. Tribal Nation is ready for the champions.
Winners- Tribal Nation
We see Johnny Mantell in an interview area.
Mantell, “The Mantell name is synonymous with wrestling in Texas. Price, you’re big and strong, but I can wrestle, and that’s the name of the game. You may be the champion, but you aren’t better than me!”
We see Rod Price in another interview area.
Price, “Mantell, you got a big mouth, but you don’t have anything to back it up. I’m the ‘California Stud’, and I’m the North American Champion, and tonight I’m going to prove to you why I’m both of those things!”
Match #5
Non-Title Match
“The California Stud” Rod Price (North American Champion) vs. Johnny Mantell
The Cowboy from Montague County meets the Champ. Mantell knows all the tricks, and Price will have to be on his game. Johnny starts fast. Price tries to stall and slow pthe pace of the match. Price lures Johnny into the corner and lands a kick to the midsection. He turns Mantell around and dishes out punishment. Now the Champion is in control. Mantell makes a brief comeback, but Price clamps on the bear hug, and John submits. “The California Stud” is going to be tough to beat.
Winner- Rod Price
Marc Lowrance closes the show.
Lowrance, “Rod Price proves why he is the champion, but don’t count out Johnny Mantell, and don’t count out Kevin Von Erich. GWF action gets better, and better, and next week will be no exception. Our main event is a six man tag team match, on one team, the Global Tag Team Champions Bobby Duncum Jr. and Big John Hawk, they team with their stablemate Billy Black. On the other side, Tribal Nation, and the popular Patriot. This will be a great one.”
