LR: Yello everybody. I am Lance Russel and with me are Dave Brown and Les Thatcher and man, what a show we have for you here. I want to start by saying we have a new MCW Southern heavyweight champion when “Diamond”: Tim Flowers beat 3 others to become champion in a one night tournament. He beat Ken Patera in the finals and not without controversy.
DB: That’s right, Lance. He used the illegal piledriver to get the win after the referee was distracted by Paul Jones & Jerry Stubbs. Unfortunately we don’t do instant reply rule here in MCW so the referee’s decision is final. That being said, I have it on good authority that no less than the GWA North American heavyweight champion, Jerry “The King” Lawler will be making his way back to Memphis and defending that title.
LR: Yes, that is true and when he gets here, you can bet Tim Flowers will not be trying the stuff he is. Now, we also want to tell you, the fans, that we have new tag team champions. The Rock N Roll RPM’s defeated The Nasty Boys for the titles last Monday night. It was a bloody street fight but they are the champions and the Nasty Boys have left the territory. So let’s got on to it this week. We are going to see the Southern Boys in tag team action. The televisiom champion Mark Fleming will defend the belt against Steve “Do it to it” Cox. Wendell Cooley will take on Kerry Brown and in the main event, television time limit remaining, the new tag team champions The Rock N Roll RPMs will take on Frankie Lancaster & Jerry Oske. So fans, we are going to the ring for the action.

LR: Steve Armstrong & Tracy Smothers, you two had a great match.
TS: Thanks Lance. Joe Savoldi & Billy Travis are a tough, tough team. But they just lost out. Now we heard some great news. It seems as though Monday at the Coliseum, we have a tag team title shot against the Rock N Roll RPMs. Let me tell you boys, I am more a country boy myself but you do you. One thing I do know is this. Monday night we are coming to take them tag team belts. I know you just got them but that don’t matter. It is time for us to have them.
LR: You guys know that there will be a lot of teams looking for you if you win the belts, right?
SA: That don’t matter, Lance. The Southern Boys are coming and we will be the next MCW tag team champions.
LR: Well, folks, we will see about that on Monday.

LR: We are back, Dave, and let me tell you that The Southern Boys are ready for their match Monday night. They will have some fighting to do for sure. Now keep in mind that is just the first match. Now what is it he wants…. Folks, it is Johnny Valiant.
JV: That is Johnny V to you. Listen banana nose, I am not here to talk to you. I am here to bring to you the very best tag team in the world today. I bring to you the MCW tag team champions, the Rock N Roll RPM’s.
**The RPM’s come out**
Mike Davis: Johnny V, legendary wrestler, legendary manager and the manager of champions is here. See, Lance, me and Tommy, we listened to what Johnny V said and we walked out with the MCW tag team championship. He is the man to lead the best.
LR: Are you guys about through? We have a title match to get to.
JV: I don’t care what you have and neither do my boys.
**Steve Cox comes out for his match**
SC: Why don’t you guys just buzz off and let me have my match?
JV: You know, he is right. Boys, let’s go.
**As Cox turns to get in the ring he is double teamed by the tag team champions. Davis holds Cox while Lane levels him with the tag title belt before throwing Cox in the ring for his match. As they leave, the TV champion Mark Fleming comes out and gets in the ring, demanding the bell ring to start his match.**

MF: Lance, did you see how quickly I disposed of that punk Steve Cox? Did you see how quickly I dispatched him and his challenge?
LR: I Saw you had help from Johnny Valiant and the MCW tag team champs, the Rock N Roll RPM’s.
MF: That isn’t what you saw. Anything like that happened before my match if it happened at all. In that ring, in my match all you saw was me dominate. All you are ever going to see is me dominating. I will be television champion as long as I want to be television champion. I ran that punk David Sammartino out of here. I ran his old man out of here and I will run anyone who comes for my title out of here.
LR: I hear that you may have to deal with people like the Junk Yard Dog or “Primetime” Brian Lee.
MF: They can all come.
**He leaves as we go to commercial**

LR: Before we get to the next match, I want to bring out a tag team that is no stranger to Memphis. Shawn & Marty, the Midnight Rockers. Fellas, welcome back to Memphis.
MJ: Lance, it is so good to be back. It has been a long, long, long time but we are here and we are ready.
SM: The last time we were around here, we had a little growing up to do and we have done that. But let me say something. Rock N Roll RPM’s…you are the champs and me and Marty just want you to know we are coming for them titles.
LR: Guys, it is great to see you. Fans, let’s get to the ring for Wendell Cooley taking on Kerry Brown.
**Brown heads to the ring and stops briefly to insult and badmouth the Midnight Rockers before getting into the ring.

KB: Listen, I don’t know what you are talking about. But if you want to fight about it, get a partner and we will wrestle Monday night.
WC: Get a partner? You too scared to wrestle me one on one?
KB: Look, I did that and beat you. So…listen, get your partner and we can wrestle Monday night. Me and my partner, the MCW Southern heavyweight champion will be there and we will take on you and whoever your partner is.
WC: Ok…becareful what you wish for. I have the right partner in mind.
**He leaves with Brown still hiding behind the desk mouths off again as Lance sends it to commercial break**
