Monsoon, “Welcome to ‘Monday Night Wrestling’! Jess, we have a report on the Hulkster! He will be back!!”
Ventura, “Ha! I doubt it. His career is over!”
Monsoon, “Highly unlikely. We also have a great main event. Newcomer Wahoo McDaniel takes on the rugged Wild Bill Irwin. Let’s go to Howard Finkel.”
Match #1
Johnny Ace vs. Keith Larsen
Ace has become very popular in a short time. He goes right after Larsen. Johnny is very smooth. He controls the action, and wins with a side Russian legsweep.
Winner- Johnny Ace
Match #2
The Rougeau Brothers vs. The Davidson Brothers
Two sets of brothers do battle. Raymond starts against Rick Davidson. Rick uses his size to work over Rougeau. Raymond fights back. He tags in his brother, and Jacques takes over. John tries his hand, but the Rougeaus use the cannon ball for the win.
Winners- The Rougeau Brothers
Mean Gene Okerlund is with General Skandor Akbar and Kamala.
Okerlund, “With me are Kamala, and his manager, General Skandor Akbar. General Akbar, you thought Kamala had ended Hulk Hogan’s career. Rumors are he will be back soon.”
Akbar, “That’s what they say, but do you see Hogan put here?”
Okerlund, “Well, no…”
Akbar, “That’s right, he’s not here! And he won’t be. Hogan is through. Kamala, the Ugandan Warrior, has destroyed Hulkamania!”
Okerlund, “I don’t think the General is correct, but time will tell.”

Kamala w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Spike Huber
Kamala meets the muscular man from Indianapolis. Huber goes right after Kamala. That was a mistake. The big Ugandan chops, kicks and chokes Spike. Huber has no chance. Kamala lands the big splash for the win.
Winner- Kamala
Match #4
Bam Bam Bigelow w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Robbie Ellis
Heenan has one of the most dangerous men in the sport. He has size and speed. Ellis is talented, but he gives up a lot of size. Robbie tries to avoid the big man. Bigelow is frustrated, and Heenan looks a bit worried. Bam Bam mounts a comeback. He takes over, and wins with the reverse piledriver.
Winner- Bam Bam Bigelow
Mean Gene Okerlund is with Austin Idol.
Okerlund, “Fans, this man shocked the GWA by arriving last week. Austin Idol, you have been a top star in wrestling for sometime. You and Jerry Lawler go back a long way. You have targeted the ‘King’.”
Idol, “The ‘Universal Heartthrob’ is here to settle a score. Jerry Lawler and I do go back a long way. Lawler, I’ve always been a better wrestler than you, and I am much better looking than you. I am clearly superior to you, but in the South, in Memphis, you always get preferential treatment. The deck was always stacked in your favor. The night you won the North American Title, that should have been my title shot!Well, here in the GWA, you don’t have everyone in your back pocket. I came here to settle a score, and win that title!”
Okerlund, “Austin Idol is here, and we know what he wants!”

Austin Idol vs. “Cowboy” Scott Casey
“The Universal Heartthrob” is in the GWA, and he has not chosen an easy first opponent. Casey is very talented. He and Idol go back and forth. Idol is one of the greats in the business. Casey puts up a good fight, but Idol applies the Las Vegas leglock, and Casey submits.
Winner- Austin Idol
Match #6
Larry Zbyszko vs. S.D. Jones
Zbyszko is one of the best in the GWA. Jones is a tough opponent. SD starts fast. He moves quickly, and Larry is frustrated. “The Living Legend” rolls out of the ring to regroup. He returns, and slows the pace of the match. Jones is very game, but Zbyszko is too much. He uses a neckbreaker for the win.
Winner- Larry Zbyszko
Mean Gene Okerlund is with Wahoo McDaniel.
Okerlund, “With me is Wahoo McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel, you have been very impressive since arriving in the GWA. Tonight, you take on a big challenge. Wild Bill Irwin is one of the most rugged men in wrestling.”
McDaniel, “He is Gene. I have wrestled him before, and he’s one of the best. I don’t take him lightly. When I came here, I told the matchmaker to give me the best, and this is it. I’m going to beat him tonight, and keep going to the top.”
Okerlund, ‘McDaniel vs. Irwin is next.”

Wahoo McDaniel vs. Wild Bill Irwin
This will be a knock down, drag out, affair. Both men slug it out. Wahoo is one of the hardest hitting men in wrestling, and Irwin stands toe to toe with him. Irwin seems to be getting the better of things. McDaniel rallies. He takes over and wins with the deep double underhook.
Winner- Wahoo McDaniel

Monsoon, “Fans…”
Ventura, “Wait, wait, wait! You told me there would be more lies about Hulk Hogan! What’s going on?”
Monsoon, “Well, if you would let me finish. I have breaking news.”
Ventura, “What, who are you Geraldo? I’m the one who breaks stories!”
Monsoon, “Not tonight Jess. I have exclusive information. Hulk Hogan has almost completely recovered from his injuries. Not only that, he returns next week!”
Ventura, “I’ll believe it when I see it!”
Monsoon, “Believe It, Jess, the Hulkster will be here next week!”
