The program begins with highlights of the brawl at the end of last week’s show. We see Iceman King Parsons challenge Akbar’s men. Marc Lowrance opens the program.
Lowrance, “That Situation set up tonight’s main event. We will also see Kevin Von Erich in action. Kevin is preparing to challenge for the North American Championship at Tarrant County. He will face the ‘California Stud’. Speaking of the Champion, he will be in our first match. Let’s go to Doyle King.”
Match #1
Non-Title Match
“The California Stud” Rod Price (North American Champion) vs. Chris Walker
Two muscular men meet in this one. Walker matches the Champion move for move. This frustrates Price. He goes to illegal tactics. Walker puts up a good fight, but Price applies the bear hug, and Chris submits. The Champ will be tough to beat.
Winner- Rod Price
Doyle King is with the Simpson Brothers.
King, “With me are two men who are well known to Texas wrestling fans, the popular brothers from South Africa, Steve and Shaun Simpson. Gentlemen, welcome to the GWF.”
Steve, “Thank you Doyle. Shaun and I love Texas, we like living here and wrestling here. When the GWA opened we knew we wanted to wrestle here. We came to wrestle the best.”
Shaun, “There are a lot of good teams, and we won’t back down from any of them.”
King, “The Simpson Brothers will be in the ring next.”
Match #2
The Simpson Brothers vs. Mike Samples and Jack Victory
The popular brothers from South Africa are in action. Shaun starts against the veteran from New Jersey. The younger Simpson is very sharp. Victory tries to rough him up, but Simpson holds his own. He tags in his older brother. Steve has Victory in trouble, and Samples tags in. He fares no better, and Steve uses a flying bodypress for the win.
Winners- The Simpson Brothers
Match #3
The Patriot vs.”Hollywood” John Tatum
The popular Patriot takes on the arrogant Tatum. John struts around the ring. The popular masked man is not impressed. Referee John Keaton calls for the bell. Tatum is sneaky, and he wrestles that way. He hits and runs and frustrates the masked man. Eventually the Patriot takes over and wins with the shoulder breaker.
Winner- Patriot
Doyle King is with Kevin Von Erich.
King, “With me is Texas legend Kevin Von Erich. Kevin, you are set to challenge for the North American Title at Tarrant County. Rod Price is big, strong, and young. He will be tough to beat.”
Kevin, “He will be. I’ve been around a long time, but that makes me experienced. I’m ready for whatever Price throws at me. It won’t be easy, but I plan on winning the title.”
King, “It will be a great match. When we return, Kevin will be in action.”
Match #4
Kevin Von Erich vs.”Maniac” Mike Davis
The Sportatorium crowd goes crazy as Kevin comes to the ring. The Maniac is crazy. He shows it by attacking Von Erich before the bell. Davis works over Kevin. He slumps in the corner, and Davis chokes away. Referee John Keaton counts and Davis breaks at four. Kevin shakes things off and begins to rally. He fights fire with fire and slugs in out with Davis. Kevin goes to the top rope and hits a flying bodypress for the win. He still has it.
Winner- Kevin Von Erich
Doyle King is with General Skandor Akbar, Black Bart and the Super Destroyer.
King, “With me are General Skandor Akbar and his men. General Akbar, tonight your men take on Iceman King Parsons and Chris Adams. They have been top names in Texas for a long time.”
Akbar, “Those two have been thorns in my side for years. Tonight, Black Bart and the Super Destroyer are here to destroy those two. They will give no quarter, Parsons, Adams, this is it for you!”
King, “Let’s go to Parsons and Adams.”
Iceman King Parsons and Chris Adams are with Craig Johnson.
Johnson, “With me are Iceman King Parsons and ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams. Gentlemen, you have Akbar’s men for several years. Black Bart and the Super Destroyer will be a tough test.”
Adams, “Yes they are Craig. Those two are vicious, and Iceman and I have fought Akbar for a long time. With that said, we are ready to do this two on two, may the best team win.”
Parsons, “ Have mercy! Skandor Akbar, you net got the better of me, or Chris! Tonight, we ready for you, and we gonna dish out a beating on those two clowns, cause Mama says it bees that way sometimes!”
King, “Oir main event is next.”

Iceman King Parsons and “Gentleman” Chris Adams vs. Black Bart and the Super Destroyer w/General Skandor Akbar
There is an air of excitement in the Sportatorium. Adams and Bart open the contest. Bart goes to the rough house tactics, but the Iceman is ready, and he fights back. We have a brawl. Things start to go Bart’s way and he tags in the masked man. The Super Destroyer traps Parsons in the corner and works him over. Bart gets in a few cheap shots as well. Iceman is in trouble. The crowd is behind Parsons, and he fights his way out of the corner. He tags in Adams. The Englishman cleans house. Akbar’s men take to the floor and confer with him. They return and the match begins. It soon deteriorates into a brawl. Referee John Keaton has no choice, but to disqualify both teams. This isn’t settled.
Result- Double Disqualification
Marc Lowrance closes the show.
Lowrance, “What a brawl! This one is not settled by any means. The GWF gets better and better. Next week we have an exciting main event. Another rough Texan returns, Johnny Mantell will challenge the North American Champion, ‘The California Stud’ Rod Price. Don’t miss this one.”
