HUGE NEWS REGARDING SMOKY MOUNTAIN WRESTLING!!!!!

Smoky Mountain Wrestling has been purchased by local promoter and wrestling legend, Jerry Jarrett. Jarrett, who has been promoting wrestling in the Tennessee and surrounding areas for the last 16 years, has been quoted as “seeing top potential” in Smoky Mountain Wrestling and that “it reminded him of his own history and style”. What this means for Smoky Mountain Wrestling is announcer Jim Ross will be joined by Dave Brown of Memphis and WMC-TV5 fame. It means that the Smoky Mountain TV show will be seen on WMC-TV5. it will bring together the greatest professional wrestling in the world together for the fans.
SMW Commissioner Bob Armstrong has been quoted as saying that this change will create some issues since SMW wrestlers like Cornette’s men, The Midnight Express, are not fans of Jarrett or those that would be coming. He adds neither are his boys but they all understand his will be the final say in Smoky Mountain Rings and heavy fines will be laid should his word not be followed.
Eddie Gilbert on the other hand, has been ecstatic, saying his Memphis Mafia will love this because those in Kentucky are going to learn that Memphis -is- the only place in the Mid-South area that matters. He also says that the Memphis Mafia now has backup coming as they head toward SMW title gold.
How this will affect everything else, all we know here is the fans are the winners.
