1-13 Friday Second TV Taping Airs 1-21-93
The second episode kicks off from The Showboat Sports Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the AWA banner superimposed over a shot of the Showboat. We join announcers Nick Bockwinkel & Lee Marshall at the announcer's desk for anther exciting hour of AWA Championship Wrestling. interviewer 'Mean' Gene Okerlund who has returned. Promoter Greg Gagne, son of Verne Gagne, joins the announcers to tell the fans the first two AWA events will be held in Milwaukee, WI @ MECCA Arena Saturday, Feb. 11 and in Green Bay, WI @ Resch Center Sunday, The Saturday show features the crowning the inaugural AWA World Tag Team Champion and AWA Women's World's Champion. Feb. 12.. The Sunday event features the crowing of the AWA World's Heavyweight and AWA World's Junior Heavyweight Champions.
Nick & Lee are joined by 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff. Mr. Wonderful talks about going after the AWA World's Heavyweight Belt. Paul says if he has to go through Hogan, Piper, Blanchard, Martel or anyone else, he is going to do just that to be the AWA champion.
Marshall says featured in action today are the Smokin Guns, Joe Malenko, Tully Blanchard, Susan Sexton & Hulk Hogan.
We go to the ring for the first match of today. All TV matches are 1-fall 10-minute time limit. Ring announcer is Mike McGuirk.
1. 4 Man Tag Team Match. Smoking Guns (Bart & Billy Gunn) defeated the Headbangers Mosh & Thrasher in short match, dominated by the young Gunns. (5:02). Bart with the pin on Mosh.
Okerlund interview with the rough looking Pit Bulls 1# & 2# who proclaim them are golng to be the new World Tag Team Champions. They are going to destroy all their opponents -- Pit Bull styles.

2. Singles Match. Joe Malenko submitted Louie Spicoli to the Texas Cloverleaf. (8:51).
Okerlund interview with second generation star Dustin Rhodes. Dustin says he has a lot to live up to but he will prove to all the wrestling world he deserves the respect when he becomes the AWA World's Heavyweight Champion.

3. Single Match. Tully Blanchard w/Woman beats Tommy Rogers with the Slingshot Suplex. (7:20).
Okerlund interview with Jake 'the Snake' Roberts. The Snake says he plans on getting into the heads of a lot of AWA superstars. Once he does, he will expose them to the darkness of their very souls.

4. Ladies Single Match. Susan Sexton won by dq over Miss Linda w/Adrian Street. (6:53).
Okerlund interview with Magnificent Mimi who states she is going to be the next AWA Women's World's Champion. She has more class, beauty & talent than any other women in the AWA.
