Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to Smoky Mountain Wrestling. I am Jim Ross and this is wrestling the way it should be. Last week we crowned new Smoky Mountain tag team champions in The Midnight Express and it was not a clean win for them. Cornette of course got involved with his tennis racket. We also crowned the first Beat the Champ TV champion when Michael PS Hayes beat “Hollywood” Bob Holly to win his first 1000 dollar cheque. This week Michael Hayes will defend the title against….**picks a name out of the hat**…Doug Basham. Michael Hayes will defend the Beat the Champ TV championship against Doug Basham. But that isn’t all. We are going to crown the first US junior heavyweight champion in a four man tournament. The four men will be “Suicide Blonde” Chris Candido taking on Kendall Windham and “White Lightning” Tim Horner taking on “Gigolo” Jimmy Del Ray. Now, what does he want? Fans, Jim Cornette.
JC: It is about time you acknowledge the greatest managerial mind in the world today. Who is the best tag team in the world and how many reasons can you name the Midnight Express?
JR: What do you want out here, Jim Cornette?
JC: Simple. I see that “Gigolo” Jimmy Del Ray is in a title match and I am here to offer my services should he win.
JR: Should he win?
JC: Of course should he win. I don’t represent losers. But I will say this…before the end of the show, I will have one of the greatest talents in the wrestling world under my guidance. Now, it can be Del Ray or it -will- be someone else.
JR: Typical Cornette. Fans, let’s get to the ring for the action.

CC: Let me introduce yourself to the greatest professional wrestling to ever grace this Podunk little town of hillbillies. I am “The Suicide Blonde” Chris Candido and I am the wrestler of the 90’s. You saw how I just took apart Kendal Windham, a second generation superstar who far surpassed his entire family. He is a main event wrestler in any part of the world. Later you will see me systematically destroy either Tim Horner, a guy who is lucky to even be in my sport, I mean… what has he ever done? OR the greatly talented “Gigolo” Jimmy Del Ray. One of the two are going down and the US junior championship, the -only- junior championship in the world that means anything, will be mine.

JR: Candido is a talented man for sure but really arrogant. He will be hard to beat however. Fans, we have this special video on a new team coming to Smoky Mountain Wrestling. They are Chris Jericho & Lance Storm, The Thrillseekers.
JR: They are coming very soon and man, I am looking forward to it. Ok…now what does -he- want?
**Out comes Johnny Polo**
JP: Listen here Jim Ross, these fans don’t care about the teenyboppers you got coming in here. They want to see real men wrestling and since that is the case, have I got the team for you. They are real men. They are tough, tough guys.
JR: Who is this team?
JP: Jim Ross…look, I got a video. They are real men. They are tough guys. They are Marcus Bagwell & Scotty Riggs, The American Males!!!!
JR: I can’t even begin to believe this.
JP: Believe it Jim Ross. When they are done their world tour, they will be here to kick tail and take gold.

JR: We are back and I am glad to be away from both Cornette & Johnny Polo. Now, earlier we saw “The Suicide Blonde” Chris Candido defeat Kendall Windham to advance in the US junior heavyweight title tournament. We are about to see who he will face later today when “White Lightning” Tim Horner takes on Jimmy Del Ray.

**Greg Valentine & Dick Slater are with Jim Ross at the announce table.**
JR: Greg, Dick, what can I do for you?
DS: Don’t get cocky, Jim Ross. You know what we will do. We are out here because last week we told Jim Cornette what we wanted if his team won the tag team belts. Well, they won. We want what we demanded. We want our title shot.
JR: Well I don’t know about any of that. I just know there are a lot of teams looking for the same thing you are.
DS: It don’t matter who else is looking. They can come up and try their best. But let’s be clear. We are coming for them titles. Jimmy Cornette…pay attention. Me and Greg are coming for the belts. You were warned last week. You are now warned for the last time.
**Cornette comes out**
JC: Dick Slater, I know you. I respect you. We have been around each other for years. Why are you being like this now?
GV: Jimmy…you are right. You -do- know us. So that means you know we are serious. It means you know that we are coming for those tag team belts and you can choose how. You can bring them to us, or we come to take them.
JC: You are not giving any other choice?
DS: No other choice.
JC: Ok then. Here is what I choose…
**Slater & Valentine are surprised when the Midnights attack them from behind but they are not alone. Buddy Landel & Fit Finlay get in on the attack making it a four on two. The Rock N Roll Express run out to help and Cornette leads his men away as we head to commercial.**

DS: NO, JIM ROSS….LET ME TALK FIRST….**deep breath** Ricky, Robert. Thank you for coming out. We didn’t need your help and just know if it was you that won last week, you would be on the hook.
RM: Don’t you worry, Dick Slater. Don’t think for a minute we did it for you. Jim Cornette and his crew cheated us out of the titles last week and we ain’t going to let that happen again. Like you, we wanted to get our hands on Jim Cornette & the Midnight Express.
DS: As long as that is all clear. Now, Jim Cornette…you did a very bad thing. You brought two guys who like to fight against two guys who -live- to fight. There is a difference between your group of punks, and Greg & I. This difference is something you boys are going to learn the hard way. It is going to be a bad thing. A very bad thing.
**They leave as Ross tells the fans it is time for the Beat the Champ TV title match. **

MH: Nothing looks prettier than Michael PS Hayes with another thousand dollars.
JR: Michael, the competition is getting tougher.
MH: Jimmy Ross, it don’t matter who it is in front of me. You know this. They will fall to the D.D.T.
**Eddie Gilbert comes out like last week**
EG: Michael…
MH: Listen here, Eddie Gilbert. I don’t care what you have to say. I don’t need you, want to hear you, want to look at you.
**Hayes walks away while Gilbert is in shock.**
EG: Can you believe that, JR? I just wanted to wish him well and once again offer him a spot in the Memphis Mafia.
JR: What is the Memphis Mafia?
EG: Oh, you and everyone else will know soon enough. Michael Hayes, I am saying this to you now. Don’t treat me with disrespect again because some things you don’t to happen, will happen.

JR: We are back and the last commercial is done. Folks, it is time for the finals of the United States Junior championship. The “Suicide Blonde” Chris Candido and “White Lightning” Tim Horner have both made it this far. This will be a great scientific match because even if you dislike Candido, you cannot deny his skill in the ring. So without waiting, let’s go to the main event.
