Monsoon, “Welcome to ‘Monday Night Wrestling’! Jess, what a night! The Hulkster puts the Global Title on the line!”
Ventura, “He’s making a big mistake Monsoon! The Missing Link isn’t a wrestler, he could end Hogan’s career!”
Monsoon, “Highly unlikely Jess. The Hulkster is ready for anything. Let’s go to the ring and get things underway with a newcomer.”
Match #1
Johnny Ace vs. Rick Davidson
Ace debuts in the GWA. He is a popular young wrestler who will make a name for himself. Davidson, the big biker, starts fast. He hammers away at Ace. Johnny recovers and mounts a comeback. Ace hits the side Russian leg sweep for the win. Quite a debut!
Winner- Johnny Ace
Match #2
Brutus Beefcake vs. Gary Royal
The Barber struts around the ring. The veteran Royal just might lose some hair tonight. Royal tries to rough up Bruti, but Beefcake survives. He takes over and clamps on the sleeper. Royal is out, and Brutus takes a few locks as a souvenir.
Winner- Brutus Beefcake
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with the Fantastics.
Okerlund, “With me are Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fulton, the Fantastics. Gentlemen, you have taken the GWA by storm.”
Rogers, “Gene, they told us, go to the GWA, that's where the competition is. They were right, and we are headed to the top.”
Okerlund, “The Hart Foundation holds the tag team titles, many experts think you might be the team to dethrone them.”
Fulton, “That’s just what Tommy and I plan to do. They are very good, but the Fantastics are better!”
Okerlund, “When we return, the Fantastics are in action.”
Match #3
The Fantastics vs. George South and the Avenger
The Fantastics have quickly become fan favorites, and they are hot on the trail of the Champions. Rogers starts against South. George is very good, and holds his own. Rogers takes over. He tags in Fulton. Bobby is in control. The masked Avenger tags in. He fares no better. The Fantastics use the Fantastic flip for the win.
Winners- The Fantastics
Match #4
Eric Embry vs. Keith Larsen
The hard working Embry takes on the trial horse Larsen. Eric is very aggressive. The crowd loves his never say die attitude. Larsen puts up a good fight, but a Embry uses a piledriver for the win.
Winner- Eric Embry
We see the Piper’s Pit set. Roddy Piper walks out.
Piper, “Hello everybody! RP here! I have a special guest tonight. He’s a legend, just like me, he’s a great talker, just like me, and he’s a great fighter, just like me. The North American Champion, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler.”
Lawler comes out and shakes hands with Piper.
Piper, “Jerry Lawler, let’s get right to the point. You have gone back and forth with Jimmy Jack Funk. People say I’m nuts, but this guy is crazy!.
Lawler, “Piper, you are right about that. He is crazy, but I can handle that. I’ve held a lot of titles in my career, but this one means more. I won it in Memphis, and I’ve defended it against all comers.”
Piper, “Well, zi just got news that you’re defending that title, next week on TV, against Jimmy Jack Funk!”
Lawler, “Bring it on, I’m ready for Funk, and anything he throws at me.”
Piper, “Lawler vs. Funk next week.”

Bam Bam Bigelow w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Spike Huber
We see an insert of Heenan and Bigelow.
Heenan, “The world is about to see what Bam Bam is all about! Tell ‘em Bam Bam!”
Bigelow, “GWA, Bam Bam is here, and I’ll destroy anything in my path!”
The bell rings and Bigelow attacks. Huber is overwhelmed. He fights back, but he has no chance. Bam Bam wins with a reverse piledriver.
Winner- Bam Bam Bigelow
Match #6
“Mean” Mark Callous w/The Genius vs. Brian Adias
Adias is a talented veteran, but Callous is a monster. Brian tries to hit and run. It works for a while. The Genius shouts instructions from ringside. Callous methodically takes over. He uses a choke slam for the win.
Winner- Mark Callous
We see Hulk Hogan in an interview area.
Hogan, “Missing Link! You might be a caveman, but you’ve never tangled with Hulk Hogan! The training, the prayers, the vitamins are too much! You bring that green face of yours, and try me! Whatch’ gonna’ do when Hulkamania runs all over you!”
Match #7
Global Heavyweight Championship
Hulk Hogan (Champion) vs. The Missing Link w/General Skandor Akbar
The Link and Akbar wait in the ring, and we hear,
“I am a real American
Fight for the rights of every man
I am a real American
And fight for what's right
Fight for your life”
Hulk Hogan hits the ring. Akbar and his man clear out, as Hogan tears off his shirt. Referee Joey Marella calls for the bell, and we are underway. The Link is crazed. He attacks Hogan, and the Champion is in trouble. He traps Hogan in the corner and chokes away. Akbar shouts instructions from ringside. The Champion is in trouble. The crowd gets behind him, and Hogan “Hulks up”. He fires back against the Link. Hulk hits the big boot, and his foe goes down. He hits the leg drop, and Marella counts the fall. Hulk Hogan wins! Suddenly, Akbar is in the ring with a chair. He smashes it into Hogan’s back. Hogan goes down. Kamala is in the ring. Akbar, and the Link, hold Hogan down! Kamala hits a big splash, and then another! He lands a third before security personnel are in the ring. Akbar and his men leave the area. Monsoon leaves the announce table to check on Hogan. The Champion is not moving.
Winner- Hulk Hogan
Jesse Ventura closes the show.
Ventura, “Monsoon has left me to check on that chump Hogan! I told you he’d get hurt! Join us next week for the end of ‘Hulkamania’!”
