Johnson, “Welcome to ‘ACW Live!’! ACW is the hottest thing in wrestling and this is the next step. We have a fantastic show for you tonight. Two titles will be on the line. We will talk about the shocking situation that happened last week with Wolf Hawkfield and the Spellbinder, ’Das Wunderkind’ Alex Wright, will make his debut, but let’s get the action started. Mikey Whipwreck is in the ring, and remember his ’fan’ promised to be here tonight. Is she here?”

Mikey Whipwreck vs. Don E. Allen

The camera pans the ringside seats and we see this woman with an ‘I love Mikey!’ sign.



Mikey gives his usual all out effort and wins with the whippersnapper. The woman climbs over the barricade and into the ring. She hugs and kisses Mikey, who is stunned. Todd Pettengill interviews them.

Pettengill, “Ma’am who are you?”

Woman, “My name is Francine and I’m the biggest Mikey fan in the world! He’s cute, he’s lovable, he’s the best!”

Pettengill, “Mikey what do you have to say?”

Mikey, “I like it!”

Pettengill, “Mikey likes it!”

Mikey and Francine leave the ring hand in hand.

Johnson is with Commissioner Harley Race.

Johnson, “Commissioner Race things are moving very fast in ACW. Let’s get right to the mysterious happenings of last week. Wolf Hawkfield successfully defended the American TV Title and then the lights went out. They came back on and the Spellbinder was in the ring. They went out again and Hawkfield was out cold. What have you learned?”

Race, “What we saw last week was shocking. The Spellbinder has been very mysterious since his arrival in ACW. The most mysterious thing about the entire situation is that Wolf Hawkfield has not been heard from since he left the arena last week. He was not scheduled to wrestle this week, and of course, he has 30 days to defend the Television Title, so he does not have to be here, but it is very unusual for him not to be in contact with the office. I don’t know what’s going on.”

Johnson, “We may get some answers next week. The Spellbinder will be here and he will speak for the first time! That could be very interesting. Now let’s see the debut of ‘Das Wunderkind’ Alex Wright.”

Pettengill, “Gentlemen tonight you put the tag titles on the line against Men on a Mission. Which two of you will wrestle?”

Deaton, “First of all Fish-Gill, we don’t have to tell you! We don’t have to tell anyone until we get in the ring. It doesn’t matter. Those two circus clowns, or circus elephants, don’t stand a chance against any of us!”

Duncum, “Listen boy, you keep your mouth shut and let us talk. Joel’s right, those two fat hogs are an embarrassment to wrestling. When we get in the ring, whichever two it is, will destroy them!”

Black, “We took these belts from those tin soldiers and if you think we’re going give them up without a fight, you’re more stupid than ole’ Fishface over here. Men on a Mission you bring your fat butts and that awful rap music to the ring, and we’ll kick you all over Ohio! You just make sure you show up!”

Pettengill, “Our tag title match is next.”

American Tag Team Championship
The Wild Bunch (Champions) vs. Men on a Mission w/Oscar

The Wild Bunch send Bobby Duncum Jr. and Billy Black into action tonight. MOM use their huge size advantage to control the early moments of the match. All three members of the Wild Bunch confer and then proceed to pick up the roughhouse tactics. Finally the match is out of control and referee Jack Doane calls for the bell.

Craig Johnson is seated in front of a “Rock-Tober-Fest!” banner.

Johnson, “ACW will present its first ever Pay Per View on October 23 at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. The wrestling action will be fantastic, but you can’t have ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ without rock music and we have that these gentlemen will perform live!”



Johnson, “That’s right, the stars of ACW and Van Halen in action! Stay tuned for more information.”

Pettengill, “2 Cold you get your chance at the American Heavyweight Title. It appears that Brother Love is nowhere to be found. That will be an advantage for you.”

Scorpio, “I don’t need no advantage! I’m better than Busick. I pinned him last time and tonight I’m pinning him for the title!”

Atlas, “It don’t matter is Love is here, or not, Scorpio gonna’ be the Champion tonight!”

Pettengill, “We asked Nick Busick for an interview, but he declined. Something is going on, we just don’t know what. When we return our main event will be in the ring.”

Match #8
American Heavyweight Championship
“The Bully” Nick Busick vs. 2 Cold Scorpio w/Tony Atlas

Johnson, “Commissioner Race is going to sit in on commentary with me.”

The match is a hard hitting brawl. Scorpio gets a near fall two minutes in and Busick is on the defensive for the next few minutes. “The Bully” rallies and goes for the heart punch, but Scorpio escapes. Scorpio scoops up Busick, but in doing so, Busick’s boots catch referee Jimmy Jett. He goes down. Scorpio covers the Champion but there is no one to count. Commissioner Race gets up and enters the ring.

Johnson, “Good! Harley Race is going to sort things out!”

Race reaches into his suit coat pocket and pulls out…a set of brass knuckles! He decks Scorpio. By this time Tony Atlas has entered the ring. Race decks him. He pulls Busick on top of Scorpio and revives Jett. The referee counts the fall. Nick Busick retains the title! Harley Race heads for the back as the show ends.

The program opens with the tape of Harley Race decking 2 Cold Scorpio and pulling Nick Busick on top of him for the pin.

Craig Johnson opens the show.

Johnson, “Ladies and gentlemen the wrestling world is still in a state of shock. Last week we saw, our commissioner, Harley Race interfere in a match and cause 2 Cold Scorpio to miss out on a chance to win the American Heavyweight Title. It is an earthshaking event. We used to have honest men in positions of authority, but just look at the White House. That’s not true anymore. Let’s get right to the bottom of things and call out Harley Race.”

Race joins Johnson.



Johnson, “Mr. Race you’ve heard all the criticism. The big question everyone has is, ‘Why?’ You were a well respected wrestler and a well respected commissioner.”

Race, “Let’s stop right there. You say I was respected. That’s where you’re wrong. I am a seven time world champion, no one can dispute that, but the ‘Board of Directors’ of ACW treated me like an errand boy. I was supposed to run this company, and they ignored my ideas and are running this promotion into the ground. I had enough.”

Johnson, “Well I hate to be the one to tell you this, but I have a letter from the ‘Board of Directors’. I’ll read it. Due to Mr. Race’s behavior on our last show he has been relieved of his duties as Commissioner of American Championship Wrestling, effective immediately. So Mr. Race, you are no longer Commissioner.”

Race, “Well Johnson I have a document of my own, read this.”

Race hands a paper to Johnson.

Johnson, “It’s a manager’s license issued by ACW.”

Race, “That’s right. When ACW was formed I applied for a manager’s license. There is nothing ACW can do to me now. I am going to destroy the organization, from the inside! Hahahahaha!”

Johnson, “Harley Race, a manager in ACW, what will that mean? Let’s go to the ring and Todd Pettengill and our first match.”

Bobby Blaze def. Shanghai Peirce, w/sunset flip
Blaze’s hand is being raised by referee Jimmy Jett when Nick Busick hits the ring. He attacks Blaze and hits him with the heart punch. Harley Race appears on the ramp.



Race, “That’s right! Nick Busick is my first man, but he’s not my last!”

Race and Busick go backstage.

Pettengill is with the Spellbinder.

Pettengill, “With is the mysterious Spellbinder. Don’t think this doesn’t make me uncomfortable. Before we speak to him let’s see what happened last week.”

We see Wolf Hawkfield defeat Demolition Ax and then the Spellbinder appears and knocks out Hawkfield.”

Petterngill, “Mr. Spellbinder we have not heard from Wolf Hawkfield. Why did you attack him.”

Spellbinder, “You called my mysterious, that is incorrect. You know exactly what I am, the most dangerous man in wrestling. I want the TV Title and I could have just challenged Hawkfield, and then beaten him for the title. They way I did it will humiliate him even more. If he returns, I will destroy him. If he does not wish to meet me in the ring he should send the title to me now.”

Pettengill, “I am sure that Wolf will be back and I am sure he will want to even the score.”

The Spellbinder begins to laugh manically and then the lights go out. They come on again and Pettengill is standing alone. The lights go out for a second time. When they come on again The Spellbinder is in the ring and he attacks Billy Joe Travis.

As referee Jack Doane raises the Kid’s hand Demolition Ax hits the ring and attacks the Kid. He pounds him to the mat. Harley Race appears on the ramp.



Race, “Here’s number two! Demolition Ax works for me! ACW prepare for war!”

Pettengill is with Tommy Dreamer.

Pettengill, “with me is Tommy Dreamer. Tommy tonight you are in our main event against 1/3, it sounds strange to say that, but 1/3 of the tag team champions Bobby Duncum Jr. There’s a good chance the other two members of the Wild Bunch may be there.”

Dreamer, “I’ve fought the odds my whole life. People told me I couldn’t make my little league team, they told me I couldn’t make the football team, they told me I couldn’t get the homecoming queen. O.K they were right about that, but she couldn’t handle me anyway. I’ve fought the odds my whole life, the Wild Bunch don’t scare me!”

Pettengill, “Tommy Dreamer has impressed us so far. This may be is toughest test.”

As referee Jim Molineaux raises Hot Body's hand and huge man with a leather jacket hits the ring. He chokeslams Hot Body. Harley Race appears on the ramp.



Race, “Look at this man! This is 911, but when you call him he’s not going to help you, he’s going to destroy you!”

Pettengill is with 2 Cold Scorpio and Tony Atlas.

Pettengill, “2 Cold last week had to be very disappointing for you. Many believe that you had the title in your grasp, but then the shocking incident with Harley Race.”

Scorpio, “I was this close, Todd Petengill, this close, but my time will come. I promise you that.”

Pettengill, “Well that time may come sooner than you think. I have just been handed a note that you will meet Nick Busick, next week, for the American Heavyweight Title. What about Harley Race. He’s going to be a problem.”

Scorpio, “Next week, in Ft. Wayne, I will take the title from Busick, my time has come! I got an answer for Harley Race and its ‘Mr. USA’!”

Atlas, “Harley Race, you and I go back a long way. We’ve had our battles. Don’t stick your nose in our business! Scorpio is ready to be the Champion, and you’re not going to stop it!”

Pettengill, “What a show next week. Scorpio and Busick meet for the American Heavyweight Title and I have also been given word that Aja Kong will defend the WWWA Title against Akira Hokuto, don’t miss the action from Ft. Wayne. When we come back Mikey Whipwreck and Francine will be in the ring, and I’ll be talking with them.”

Mikey Whipwreck w/Francine vs. Tony Stetson

Pettengill interviews Mikey and Francine.

Pettengill, “Mikey it looks like Francine has been a good influence on you.”

Mikey, “I…..”

Francine takes the mike.

Francine, “Mikey is the love on my life! He’s handsome, he’s brave, he’s the best! Mikey is going to the top in wrestling. He’s going to take care of this guy tonight, if he’s got enough energy left!”

Mikey blushes.

Francine, “Mark this down. Mikey will be a Champion…soon!”

Pettengill, “Mikey, Francine seems very confident. Do you feel that way?”

Mikey, “I…”

Francine takes the mike.

Francine, “Of course he does!”

Mikey and Stetson wrestle a very exciting match. Whipwreck hits the whippersnapper for the win. Francine comes into the ring and showers Mikey with kisses.

Match #8
Bobby Duncum Jr. w/Billy Black and Joel Deaton vs. Tommy Dreamer

The match is fast paced and hard hitting. Both men have their moments. Black and Deaton try to interfere, but Dreamer is ready for it. Tommy begins to take over when down the aisle comes the One Man Gang. He attacks Dreamer from behind. He slams him to the mat and hits the 747 Splash. The Wild Bunch leaves the ring and allow Gang to do his damage. Harley Race appears on the ramp.



Race, “There’s my fourth man…The One Man Gang!”

Nick Busick, Demolition Ax and 911 join Race.

Race, “I want everyone in ACW, the Board of Directors, wrestlers, referees, announcers and fans to listen to me. When this is over one group will still be standing, ACW, or my men…Don’t bet against me!”

Medical personnel check on Dreamer. Gang joins the rest of Race’s men. The show ends with Race and his men standing, triumphantly, on the ramp.

Craig Johnson opens the show.

Johnson, “Welcome to ACW Live! We are at the Allen County War Memorial in Ft. Wayne. This is one of our original ACW cities and we are always happy to return. Let’s see a recap of what happened last week.”

We see highlights of Harley Race and his men interfering in four matches ending with the One Man Gang destroying Tommy Dreamer.

Johnson, “To say the landscape of ACW has changed is an understatement. We will see the next chapter in all this later in the program. 2 Cold Scorpio will challenge Nick Busick for the American Heavyweight Title. Harley Race will be in Busick’s corner, and remember Aja Kong will defend the ‘Red Belt’ in a rematch with Akira Hokuto. On top of all that, Race and his men are here. Will we see them, who knows? Now let’s go to the ring for our first match. Mikey Whipwreck and Francine are in the ring.”

Match #1
Mikey Whipwreck w/Francine vs. Bull Pain


This is a very close match. Francine climbs up on the ring apron to argue with Pain. This appears to anger Mikey. He does not take advantage and this seems to anger Francine. Mikey is able to win with the whippersnapper. Mikey and Francine walk back up the ramp and appear to be having a “discussion’ on the way.

JT Smith and Hack Myers vs. The Broad Street Bullies (Johnny Hot Body and Tony Stetson)

Todd Pettengill is with the Sandman. Sandman pulls out a can of beer.

Pettengill, “’World’s Fair’ beer! That hasn’t been brewed in 15 years! I have relatives from Ft. Wayne. It was bottled here in the 70’s and 80’s, where did you get that?”

Sandman, “I found it. It’s beer, so I’m drinking it! What’s wrong with that?”

Pettengill, “Let’s move on. You’ve been here for some time and beaten a lot of people. Experts are predicting big things for you.”

Sandman, “How could my life be any better. I get to drink beer and beat up people and they pay me for it. The only bad thing is talking to twerps like you!”

Pettengill, “O.K. Tonight you meet Dancing Wolf, but next week you are scheduled to take on Bobby Blaze. He’s a good young wrestler.”

Sandman, “It doesn’t matter. I drink, beat someone up and drink again. It’s a good life.”

Demolition Ax and 911 hit the ring. They attack all four men and toss them from the ring. Harley Race comes out on the ramp.

Race, “Last week it was one at a time, this time two! I told you I will control ACW, or destroy it!”

Johnson is with Tommy Watanabe.

Johnson, “Harley Race strikes again. His actions have put the entire ACW roster on high alert. I don’t like the way things are going. Now let’s talk to Tommy Watanabe. Tommy last time Kong and Hokuto met for the ‘Red Belt’ it was a wild one that no referee could control. Tonight there is a rematch.”

Watanabe, “I have spoken with friends and relatives in Japan and the match these two had is the talk of the country. This rematch is eagerly awaited and the eyes of the entire country will be on us tonight.”

Johnson, “The eyes of the entire wrestling world will be on Ft. Wayne tonight, so let’s not keep them waiting.”

WWWA Championship
Aja Kong (Champion) vs. Akira Hokuto

As expected, the match is a hard hitting affair. Hokuto has many chances to take the Red Belt, but Kong is able to escape. Kong slams Hokuto and goes for the cover. Akira gets her foot on the rope, but referee Jack Doane does not see this. He counts the fall. Hokuto argues, but it does no good.

The Colorado Kid def. Shanghai Pierce, w/flying body press
One Man Gang hits the ring and attacks the Kid. Suddenly Tommy Dreamer runs down the aisle. He and the Gang brawl until wrestlers from the back pull them apart. Harley Race comes out on the ramp.

Race, “Dreamer you just don’t learn, do you?! Gang destroyed you last week and you come back for more? Boy, you’re stupid!”

Dreamer grabs the house mike.



Dreamer, “Race, you were a legend, I used to respect you, not anymore! I want the Gang in the ring, and I want him at ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’!”

One Man Gang has joined Race on the ramp. He takes the mike.



Gang, “You got it Dreamer!”

Johnson is with Tony Atlas and 2 Cold Scorpio.

Johnson, “Gentlemen in a few minutes the American Heavyweight Title will be up for grabs as Scorpio gets another shot at Nick Busick. Last time Harley Race shocked the world with this action. We know that Race will be in Busick’s corner tonight. Scorpio will that be a problem?”

Scorpio, “The only problem is going to belong to Nick Busick. His problem is going to be that in a little bit he’s not going to be a Champion! I’ve got Tony Atlas with me and we’re ready. Let Harley Race stick his nose into things, Tony will knock him into next week!”

Atlas, “Harley Race, you and I go way back! You bring it on! Scorpio is going to be the Champion and you can’t stop him!”

Johnson, “Later tonight the American Heavyweight Title will be on the line.”

Nick Busick w/Harley Race vs. 2 Cold Scorpio w/Tony Atlas

This is a knockdown, drag out, fight. Both men have their moments. There are occasions where Harley Race looks to interfere, but every time he tries, Tony Atlas moves toward him and Race backs off. Things begin to go Scorpio’s way. He whips Busick into the ropes and catches him a sleeper hold. As soon as this happens 911 hits the ring. He attacks Scorpio and referee Jim Molineaux calls for the bell.
Winner-2 Cold Scorpio, Disqualification

Johnson, “Harley Race continues to be the talk of ACW. His influence is even great than when he was commissioner. I know that 2 Cold Scorpio and Tony Atlas will not take this lying down. We all know the big Pay Per View, ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ is just around the corner. With that in mind let’s go the ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ control center and Todd Pettengill.”



Pettengill is seated in front of a large “Rock-Tober-Fest” sign. We then see a video of Van Halen.



Pettengill, “Welcome to the ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ control center. You just heard Van Halen, one of the top names in the world of rock music. They will be at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena on October 23, and oh by the way, there are a few wrestling matches as well. We have several matches to announce. First of all, in a match just added a few minutes ago, Aja Kong will defend the WWWA Title against Akira Hokuto. As soon as tonight’s match ended in controversy, ACW received a phone call for All Japan Womens Wrestling and a rematch was set. That will not be the only womans match that night. Las Cacharros Orientlaes will meet Double Inoue in a match that has excitement written all over it. The American Tag Team Title will be on the line when the Wild Bunch take on Men on a Mission. Earlier tonight you heard Tommy Dreamer challenge the One Man Gang. The Gang and Harley Race accepted the challenge and the match has been signed. “


Pettengill, “You will not want to miss next week’s show. There is a lot of talk backstage that two big announcements will be made concerning ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’. I can give you one hint…we will hear from Wolf Hawkfield for the first time since he was attacked by the Spellbinder. Do not miss it!”

Craig Johnson opens the show.

Johnson, “Welcome to the Queen City of Ohio! We are at the famous Cincinnati Gardens and what a show we have for you tonight. We have several top matches for you, the Sandman meets Bobby Blaze, the Wild Bunch take on Hack Myers and J.T. Smith in a non-title match, and Harley Race sends Demolition Ax to the ring to meet Vic Steamboat, and we will announce the main event for ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’, but first, let’s bring out Mikey Whipwreck and his girlfriend Francine.”

Mikey and Francine come out to join Johnson.

Johnson, “Mikey, Francine you seemed to have some sort of disagreement last week. Let’s see what happened.”

Mikey is wrestling Bull Pain. Francine tries to distract Pain, but Mikey refuses to capitalize on it and the two have words after the match.

Johnson, “Mikey I know you; you are not one to take shortcuts.”

Whipwreck, “I don’t Craig…”

Francine, “Oh I’m so sorry for what I did. I know Mikey is straight laced, most of the time.”

Francine winks at Mikey.

Francine, “I just want him to win so badly, but I know better he doesn’t need my help.”

Mikey, “That’s right…”

Mikey, “I’ve got a big surprised for you honey. I wanted to make it up to you, well in a way that ESPN 2 can show on TV. I’ve already made it up to you at home. I did something that you will just love.”

Mikey, “What?”

Francine, “I signed you up to wrestle at ‘Rock-Tober-Fest.”

Mikey, “Really, who am I wrestling?”

Francine, “It doesn’t matter you can beat them all. I signed an open contract.”

Mikey, “Well I’m not afraid of anyone, I guess I don’t care, but I’d like to know who I’m wrestling.”

Johnson, “Mikey I can tell you this, I know you are on the card, but you do not have an opponent yet. People are sending in requests, and you should have an opponent by next week.”

Mikey, “I guess that’s O.K…”

Francine, “Mikey it will be great! Just think how appreciative I’ll be after you win a Pay Per View match.”

Mikey blushes,

Johnson, “O.K. Mikey Whipwreck will be in action at ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ on October 23. Now let’s see him in the ring tonight.”

Todd Pettengill is with 2 Cold Scorpio and Tony Atlas.

Pettengill, “Gentlemen the main event for ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ is going to be announced later in the program. We all want it to be 2 Cold Scorpio challenging for the American Heavyweight Title against Nick Busick, but we all know that Harley Race doesn’t want that, and will do all he can to stop it from happening.”

Atlas, “I’ve said my peace. I lobbied for 2 Cold to get his shot, I did my best, and I think things will work out for us.’

Pettengill, “Scorpio if you get the title shot you know that Race and his men will be ready to stick their noses into things.”

Scorpio, “let’s just say Tony and I have a plan. If the ‘Board of Directors’ goes for it, I’ll get my match, and I’ll get my title.”

Pettengill, “Very interesting. We will have more news later in the program. Now we are in for a rare treat, ’Mr. USA’, Tony Atlas will be in action.”

911 and Demolition Ax hit the ring and brawl with Atlas and Scorpio. Then Nick Busick hits the ring and it’s three on two. Wrestlers from the back break things up. Harley Race appears on the ramp.

Race, “Atlas, Scorpio I told you I still run this promotion! You may think you’re getting your way, but you still have to deal with me and I’m a lot smarter than you!”

Johnny Hot Body def. The Colorado Kid, w/piledriver

Craig Johnson is seated at the announce table.

Johnson, “Three weeks ago Wolf Hawkfield was attacked by the Spellbinder. Hawkfield has not been seen, or heard from since until now. Let’s look at this video.”



We see a video of a clearing in the woods with a campfire. A large man wearing a black robe with a hood over his head walks up to the fire and speaks.



Hooded Figure, “The shaman, of my people, speak of a ‘Dark Warrior’ that dwells within us all. In times of trials and tribulations we can reach deep within ourselves and call this Dark Warrior to the forefront. I have come to Snow Mountain to meditate and call upon my Dark Warrior.”

The figure removes his hood to reveal Wolf Hawkfield, but his usual red face paint has been replaced by black.

Hawkfield, “This Dark Warrior will rise up and avenge the actions of the Spellbinder. Spellbinder I let my guard down and you bested me. That will not happen again. What dwells within me now is more powerful and mystical than anything you can imagine. My people are one with nature and the universe. We control powers you can only dream about. I am coming for you!”

Hawkfield throws a handful of powder into the fire. The fire flares up and when it returns to normal Hawkfield is gone.



Johnson, “Wow! Wolf Hawkfield has gone to a level none of us could imagine. I think the Spellbinder is in trouble. Let’s go to the ring and see the Sandman and Bobby Blaze in action.”
