WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I am your host for CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FORM FLORIDA, GORDON SOLIE!  




"After a HOT SUMMER SEASON, don't look for HEAT to go away as FALL enters the SUNSHINE STATE.


NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR will be appearing in FLORIDA shortly and the competitors are all trying to get into the position for a title shot.
The  leader for that shot at the moment is the SOUTHERN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION KEVIN SULLIVAN.    Also, entering the area recently trying to get that important title shot are former NWA CHAMP TERRY FUNK, along with STAN "THE LARIAT" HANSEN ,BARRY WINDHAM  and THE ASSASSIN.  






SULLIVAN and LONGTIME RIVAL, "THE AMERICAN DREAM" DUSTY RHODES have continued their long standing feud.  Sullivan said he has sent the FALLEN ANGEL on a mission to find some assistance in getting rid of RHODES once and for all. RHODES has vowed to win the SOUTHERN TITLE and to rid the sport of Sullivan forever.

 








THE UNITED STATES TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS CHAVO AND HECTOR GUERRERO are still going strong but are very disappointed with their lack of competition.  They claim they may have to retire with the belts.







NWA WORLD JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION TIGER MASK will be coming into defend his title also and the competitors for his title are lining up also.  FORMER CHAMP MIKE GRAHAM and another second generation wrestler, the son of the legendary VERNE GAGNE, GREG GAGNE is coming to FLORIDA hoping to get a title shot. 









There has also been WOMEN'S ACTION in FLORIDA.  WENDI RICHTER has been in defending her crown against several different opponents.  THE FABULOUS MOOLAH claims to now retired and has become a manger and vows that her woman LEI LANI KAI will beat Richter for the title.






The CWF promoters have promised an exciting fall season.  Along with the names mentioned above, they promise many.of the top wrestlers from across the globe will be making their way to FLORIDA in the months to come.

I'm looking forward to the action from the Sunshine State! I think the NWA/CWF relationship will be great for both promotions.

Really looking forward to this. I like the use of Flair and the NWA Title. People may laugh at Dusty and Sullivan, but they sold a lot of tickets in Florida. I'm also looking forward to the ladies in action. Florida is going to be a "Must Watch" promotion.

Great breakdown Shaq! Color me excited about Flair popping into Florida, I'm way down for that. Flair vs. Windham, Lariat, Assassin, Sullivan??? Yes please! You have the market on the Ladies cornered, which is another exciting prospect. I enjoyed Wendi's matches and really like her as your first champ. I LOVE Tiger Mask in the area as champ, possible bouts with Hector Gurrero have me salivating, and I would even love to see Sayama get a fair shot at the Nature Boy.

And I'm definitely not one of those who would laugh at Dusty vs. Sullivan, and I've always been a mark for Nancy, she was the perfect heel valet in my mind. Smokin' hot, had the devious look down to a science, always looked like she had a secret, and did I mention she was smokin' hot? I've only seen Fallen Angel stuff in retrospect, I didn't catch her until WCW, Rick Steiner, and Doom. [shamelessplug]She was outstanding and the perfect match for Flair (BTW I have them together in Wrestlewars if anyone is interested in seeing them together [/shamlessplug]

I'm stoked about the prospects of Florida, must watch is definitely how I'd label it. I got screwed being stuck in between you and Kimmel

Looking forward to this show. Flair coming in for a Title shot is sure to be fun. Can't wait to see who the Fallen Angel digs up to fight Dusty. And really glad to see a Jr. and Women's division somewhere on the board.

Man, Florida's affiliation with the NWA might be the most intriguing thing here. This should be very interesting to see how it plays out.

Well, the WWF would like to possibly invite some Stars of CWF to come down to MSG where all the great stars wants to wrestle.
