The show kicks off with a shot of the cheering wrestling fans as we go to the IWF desk with announcers Les Thatcher & Rick Stewart. Les & Rick announce that there will be an 8-woman battle royal on today's show to crown the new IWF Women's World's Champion. The participants include Bambi, Candi Divine, Judy Martin, Lelani Kai, Malia Hosuka, Misty Blue Simmes, Rockin Robin & Sue Sexton.
Also, regretfully, the contracts of Tiger Jeet Singh, the Sheik & the Great Mephisto have been terminated by the IWF because of a brawl that occurred in the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, La., last Saturday night after the matches. Local law enforcement was called in & the IWF felt they had to act swiftly.
