We see highlights from last week.
We see a hallway. There is a commotion, and GWA President Gorilla Monsoon come into frame. They are arguing. Both men enter an office, and slam the door. Soon, Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth come down the hall and enter the office.[/b]
Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura open the program.
Ross, “Jess, at the end of last week’s program we didn’t know what was go8ng on, now we do!”
Ventura, “That’s right, and it’s huge!”
Ross, “GWA President Gorilla Monsoon was deep into negotiations between General Skandor Akbar and Randy Savage. Mr. Monsoon usually gets what he sets out to do, and this is no difference. Tonight’s main event will be ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage will take on the Iron Sheik with the North American Title on the line. What a match, right here on ‘Global Monday’! Let’s get things started with a newcomer.”

Skip Young vs. Eric Embry
Embry is a youngster from Kentucky. He is known for being very tough, and game. The match begins with a handshake. Young wrestles well, as does Embry. Skip goes for a flying body press, about misses. This gives Embry the edge, and he wins with a piledriver.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Gary Royal
The rugged Duggan has been riding high, and is on the trail of the TV Champion. Royal is a veteran, but he might be overmatched. Duggan is very aggressive. He punishes Royal. Gary has no answer, and Duggan wins with a spear.

The New Breed vs. The Great Wojo and Jerry Valiant
The unusual New Breed take on two veterans. Chris Champion opens for the New Breed against Wojo. Champion is quick, and aggressive. He keeps Wojo on the defensive. Wojo tries some illegal tactics that gives him time. He tags in “Gentleman” Jerry. Valiant gets in a few shots. Sean Royal tags in and things swing the New Breed’s way. Royal hits a high cross body for the win.
Winners-The New Breed
We see the Piper’s Pit set.
Piper comes out. Fans, tonight I’m talking to one of the best wrestlers in the World, my guest Barry Windham, the Global Champion!”
Barry Windham walks out.
Piper, “Let’s get right to it. Windham, you’ve got Flair hit on your trail. I’ve known him for a long, long time. He will do anything to win, anything to hurt you. You better be ready!”
Windham, “I’m ready Piper. I know all about Flair, and I’m ready for him. My name is on a contract for any arena in the country! Flair, I don’t care where, and I don’t care when, I’m the Global Champion, and I plan on staying that way!”
Piper, “I don’t know if you’re ready for him.”
Windham, “Piper, you think what you want! You don’t know me!”
Piper, “You don’t want to miss this one!”

Bolsheviks w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Buck Zumhofe and Greg Gagne
Akbar leads his huge Russians to the ring. Volkoff and Zhukov take the mic from Finkel. They begin to sing the Russian National Anthem. The crowd boos and jeers. This really riles up the American fans. Zhukov starts with Gagne. Greg tries to hit and run, and it works. The big Russian is frustrated. Akbar shouts instructions. Boris tags in Volkoff, and the bigger Russian goes to work. Gagne tags in Zumhofe, but Buck fares no better. Volkoff gets him up in the backbreaker, and Buck submits.

George South vs. Tito Santana
The popular Santana takes on the rugged veteran. South is a very skilled wrestler, and he holds his own with Tito. Things begin to go Santana’s way. South goes with the roughhouse tactics, but Tito is ready for it. Santana hits the flying firearm for the win.

Milt Avruskin is with “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth
Avruskin, “With me is the North American Champion, and Miss Elizabeth. Mr. Savage, you meet the Iron Sheik tonight. You too have gone at it before, but tonight feels like the last stand. Are you ready for what he’s going to throw at you?”
Savage, “Ready, ready, the ‘Macho Man’ is always ready yes I am! Iron Sheik, this is it, this is your night! Let’s get it on! I’m ready for it, are you? This is my night, yes it is! Ohhhhh yeaaaaa!”
Avruskin, “Tonight, Savage vs. The Iron Sheik, don’t miss it!”

Buddy Rose vs. Pedro Morales
Two all time veterans do battle. Rose jumps Pedro before the bell. He works over Morales, and the former World Champion is in trouble. Rose tries to whip Pedro into the corner, but Morales reverses it. Rose crashes into the turnbuckles. Pedro moves in, but Buddy lands a boot to the midsection. The match goes back and forth. Buddy catches Morales, and hits the piledriver. He covers him for the win.

Jim Ross is with General Skandor Akbar and the Iron Sheik.
Ross, “With me is the challenger in tonight’s title match. Mr. Akbar, these two men have had battle after battle. The Iron Sheik has come close, but has been unable to win the title, but what about tonight?”
Akbar, “”Savage, you are very good, but you’re not the Sheik. Tonight we will finish you off, and the Iron Sheik will take that belt back to the Middle East where it belongs! Savage, your reign ends tonight!”
Iron Sheik, “Iran, number one, Iron Sheik number one, USA hock ptuy!”

“Macho Man” Randy Savage (Champion) w/Miss Elizabeth vs. The Iron Sheik w/General Skandor Akbar
There is an air of tension in the arena. Akbar, and the Iron Sheik wait in the ring. “Pomp and Circumstances” plays and the Champion and Miss Elizabeth come to the ring. The fans are on the edge of their feet. Bill Alphonso is your referee. The bell rings and we are underway. There is no feeling process, this is a fight. Both men are very aggressive. The hammer away at one another. The Sheik slams Savage’s head into the turnbuckle. The Champion is stunned. The Sheik suplexes Savage and goes for a cover. Savage kicks out at two. The Sheik goes for another one, but Savage blocks it. The Champion sees an opening and continues the attack. Savage slams the Sheik. He climbs to the top rope, and lands the flying elbow. Alphonso counts 1…2…3! Randy Savage wind, he remains the Champion!

Ross, “Jess, what a match! The ‘Macho Man’ is still the Champion!”
Ventura, “Ross, I like Savage, he’s a great wrestler, and he did prove it!”
Ross, “Let’s talk about next week. We have another title match. One of the highlights of wrestling shows are what they call ‘specialty matches’ cage matches, Texas dearth matches, etc. Usually we only see those at arena cards, well you are in for a treat. The Midnight Express will defend the Global Tag Team Championship against the Fabulous Freebirds. The match will be a ‘Badstreet Match’. The rules are, both teams may dress anyway they wish, heavy shirts, jeans, cowboy boots, heavy belt buckles, etc. Fans this will be a brutal affair. This is a rare treat on TV, don’t miss it!”
