IDOL: It's time to cut the fat and get to the meat! Tennessee Stud, tonight, I'm taking what you treasure most! I'm beating that flea bitten Mad Dog Sawyer and I'm taking his American Title!I'm gonna tear the heart outta the Stud Stable here on UWA FURY!!!
VTR:
Buzz Sawyer is pacing back and forth in the locker room as Ron Fuller holds a microphone...
FULLER: Some of you might say, “Stud, why don't you calm him down?” Well, son, there ain't no calming my Mad Dog down right now! Idol, he's gonna tear you apart right here tonight on UWA FURY and our American Title ain't goin nowhere, you bleach blonde gigolo!
VTR:
Ron Wright & Superstar Bill Dundee stand in the locker room, flanked by the Super Samoans and Nasty Boys...
WRIGHT: This is the night that the two greatest tag teams in the world take down the Rock and Roll and the Fabulous Ones in one fell swoop!
DUNDEE: ...and when we're done, remember that Knobbs and Sags expect a title shot for their trouble! (holds up Junior Heavyweight Title belt) Specaking of title shots, Chris Adams, ain't no way you're getting this back tonight!
LEE MARSHALL: (voice over) It will be a can't miss UWA FURY!!!
VTR OPENING:
As the music plays we see the following:
Billy Jack Haynes holding a championship belt above his head!
Haynes overhead press slamming an opponent!
Rock and Roll Express hitting a double dropkick!
Dan Spivey powerbombing Billy Jack on the concrete floor!
Jos LeDuc putting the bearhug on Tom Prichard!
Ron Fuller leading Master of Pain to the ring!
Buzz Sawyer hitting a powerslam!
Van Vader entering the arena!
Nord the Berzerker coming to the ring, waving his sword above his head!
Billy Jack Haynes applying the full nelson!
MARSHALL: It's another action packed 90 minutes of UWA FURY! WE have three championship matches for you! And some other important bouts as well:
American Title match: Buzz Sayer vs. Austin Idol

UWA World Junior Heavyweight match: Bill Dundee vs. Chris Adams

STASIAK: An incredible TV program of UWA wrestling and our first match in the ring!
SD “Special Delivery” Jones & Mike Graham vs. Tommy Lane & Tom “Rocky” Stone: Two veterans team up here as one of them, Graham, makes his UWA debut. The announcers talk about the many titles Graham has held and wonder what his goals are in the UWA. In the end, Graham applies the figure four on Stone and gets the duke for his team.

We see grainy, black and white footage of football games.
ANNOUNCER: (voice over)You've heard of the Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bowl, and even the Super Bowl! Are you ready for BATTLE BOWL???
A large trophy stands in an empty wrestling ring, bathed in spotlights.
ANNOUNCER: On May 14, only on pay per view, live from Tingley Coliseum in Albequerque, the stars of the United Wrestling Alliance will battle for this amazing trophy and the title “Lord of the Ring”....
A briefcase falls to the mat, bursts open on impact, revealing that it is full of large bills!
ANNOUNCER: ...as well as a future World Title match and $500,000.00!!! DON'T MISS BATTLE BOWL 1988!!!
Big Van Vader vs. Rocky King & Tony “Hurricane” Zane: The awesome Vader in a handicap match tonight. The numbers game doesn't bother the big man a bit! He pins King after a German suplex. Then, Vader traps Zane in a corner and pounds away with a series of punches! Referee Scott LeDoux stops the match, but Vader won't let up! LeDoux reverses the decision! Vader loses by DQ!David Manning and Sandy Barr come in to try and help LEDoux get it under contrrol, but Vader won't be controlled! UWA President is in the ring. He grabs the ring mic!
DUSEK: Vader, you get out of here right now or it's $5,000!
Wait just a second! A lovely lady enters the ring! She's speaking to Vader! Vader nods and follows her out of the ring!It's like King Kong and Fay Wray! Marshall recognizes the woman: Madusa Miceli, one of the highest rated female wrestlers in the world! Stasiak says we were lucky this time-Vader is a menace and he might hurt somebody permanently before it's all said and done!
COMMERCIAL
Lee Marshall is in the dressing room with Vader and Madusa.
MARSHALL: I have to ask: What is the relationship between the two of you?
MADUSA: I would suggest that you mind your own business. Curiousity killed the cat and it might not be too healthy for wrestling announcers either!
VADER: All you need to know is that Vader rules the world and I'm gonna be UWA Champion! I've signed up for Battle Bowl and I will win it! I'm gonna leave a trail of broken bones on the way to Battle Bowl! No matter who they put in my way, I'll break 'em in half! (slams fists together)
MADUSA: You probably should leave while he's in a good mood!
MARSHALL: That's a good mood? (hurries away)
“Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (w/Missy Hyatt) vs. Priavte Terry Daniels: The quick and capable Daniels gives Eddie some trouble early on, but Gilbert wins by pinfall after a hotshot.

UWA WORLD JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Superstar Bill Dundee © vs. Chris Adams: After Mark Lowrance introduces the competitors, Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt enter the ring. Gilbert takes the microphone....
GILBERT: They say this title that is on the line here represents the best wrestler under 235 pounds in the world! Well, that happens to be my weight class, guys! And I know I can beat either one of you! Adams, Dundee beat you to win the belt! Billy, all due respect, but you wrestled my old man in memphis when I was a little kid! He whipped your Australian butt back then and I can do it now! That's not the only thing! Not only am I a great wrestler, I have a great mind! You have totally mismanaged the House of Dundee! I look at them and I see a group of guys who have unlimited potential! I could have all of them wearing titles! If you cared about those guys at all, you'd sign their contracts over to me!
Dundee is irate and he grabs the mic!
DUNDEE: You always a punk, Gilbert! Soon as I'm done with the Englishman here, I'll give you the title shot you want and I'll give you a wrestling lesson, son! As for the House of Dundee, they's never tke orders from a jerk like you! I'll say this much for ya-you have something I want, too! (to Missy) Hey, baby, wouldn't you rather have a real man?
Gilbert is irate! Referee Carl Fergie is barely able to convince Hott Stuff to leave the ring! Wait just a second! What is this? Missy Hyatt and Bill Dundee are making eyes at each other! Gilbert grabs Missy's hand and leads her away, but she keeps looking over her shoulder in Dundee's direction!
Now, we actually get the wrestling match going! And it's a really good one! At times it is reminiscent of a “World of Sport” match and the advantage swings back and forth. It looks like it's over when Adams lands the superkick and leaves Dundee flat on his back! Adams goes for the cover and the bell rings! The 20 minute time limit has expired and we have a draw! With Adams and Gilbert on his trail, Dundee's time as champion might not last much longer!

Tom Prichard, Cowboy Scott Casey, & Curtis Thompson vs. “Tennesee Stud” RoN Fuller, Gentleman Jimmy Golden, & Master of Pain: A highly competitive match. Master pins Thompson with a clothesline off the top rope after the Master does a bit of rope walking.
VTR:
Nord the Berzerker, Outlaw Ron Bass, & Superstar Bill Dundee stands in a blackened studio.
BASS: Finally! Finally, I got you in the ring, Billy Jack! I notice that it's not a title match! I notice you got somebody backing you up, boy! Well, I got a partner that can handle anything or anybody! Look at this big man!
NORD: (waving sword) HUSS! HUSS!
DUNDEE: Midnight Soldier, you never seem to learn! Every time, you and Nord get in the ring, he leaves you laid out, punk! Well, tonight won't be any different!This is a dream team right here and it might just be a nightmare for Adams and Haynes!
VTR: Brian Adams and Billy Jack Haynes stand in front of the UWA logo.
ADAMS: Every time I turn around, I seem to se that drooling maniac Nord the Berzerker, wearing that stupid helmet and swinging that sword! Well, I'm sick of him always sticking his nose in my business! He's a dangerous man and he's got a dangerous partner! Tonight, you guys will find out that Billy and me are dangerous, too!
HAYNES: Ever since Ron Bass came into the UWA, he's been running his mouth and saying he wants my World Title and he wants me! Bass, tonight, you and your partner get what you've been asking for! Maybe after this, you'll be more careful about what you ask for! I got the Midnight Soldier and he's the best partner a guy can get! It's gonna be a hot time in downtown Dallas tonight!

UWA TV TITLE MATCH: Jos LeDuc (w/Superstar Bill Dundee) © vs. Johnny Ace: Ace really takes it to LeDuc and it looks like he might win the title tonight!The turning point comes when Cactus Jack joins Dundee at ringside. Ace goes for flying bodypress, but LeDuc gets out of his way and Ace goes flying through the ropes! Ace hits the floor hard and, while LeDuc distracts the referee,Cactus posts him! Jack rolls ace into the ring and LeDuc covers him for what turns out to be an easy title defense!
VTR:
The Rock and Roll Express and the Fabulous Ones stand in the ring in an empty Sportatorium.
RICKY: We've had enough of the Nasty Boys and their loudmouth manager Bill Dundee! We still haven't got Hilbilly Ron Wright and his super stinky Samoans for stealing our belts! This is a war and we got the best reinforcements in the world- our buddies Stan and Steve!
STEVE: We're ready to do some rocking and rolling with Ricky and Robert! Samoans! Nasty Boys! We have some moves that you can't handle!
STAN: Two teams for the price of one! They're gonna rock and roll, we're gonna strut and stroll, and all four of us are gonna kick butt!
ROBERT: That's right! We're ready to go to war!

As the music plays, Bill Dundee leads two of the baddest dudes in the UWA to the ring!
The music changes and the new tune brings out the Undisputed World Champion and the Midnight Soldier!!!
Billy Jack Haynes & “Midnight Soldier” Brian Adams vs. Outlaw Ron Bass & Nord the Berzerker (w/Superstar Bill Dundee) : After a few minutes, this turns into two matches in one- Nord and Adams fighting on the floor, Haynes and Bass in the ring! In a shocker, Bass catches Haynes with the clawhold and pins the World Champion in the middle of the ring! The fans here are stunned!
The Super Samoans and the Nasty Boys stand in the ring with Dundee on the apron and Wright in his wheelchair at ringside. Then, the music starts...
Rock & Roll Express & Fabulous Ones vs. Super Samoans(w/Ron Wright) & Nasty Boys (w/Superstar Bill Dundee): The Fabs and Express use their speed to get an advantage for most of the match. All four men end up in the ring and the referee has a tough time restoring order! Dundee removes a foot rest from Wright's wheelchair. Dundee climbs onto the ring apron and Swings the foot rest at Morton! Robert shoves Ricky to the side and Dundee accidentally nails Kokina with the weapon! The ref sees Dundee and calls for the bell! The faces win by DQ! Afa is angry and he slaps Dundee around! The Nastys respond by jumping Afa! Kokina revives and helps his partner! We have a slugfest! The Express and the Fabs grab some popcorn from a ringside vendor, sit with the fans, and enjoy the fight! What a wild scene!
COMMERCIAL
AMERICAN TITLE MATCH: “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer © (w/”Tennessee Stud”Ron Fuller) vs. “Universal Heartthrob” Austin Idol: The Mad Dog attacks Idol as he enters the ring and beats him from pillar to post! Idol takes a terrible beating, but manages to lock in the Las Vegas Leglock in spite of the punishment! It looks like the title will switch here tonight, but Fuller hits the ring and puts the boots to Idol! Sawyer is disqualified! As Fuller stomps away, Idol grabs one of his ankles and takes him down!Now, Idol applies the figure four on Fuller! Here come Jimmy Golden and the Master of Pain! Pain and Golden break the hold and pull Idol to his feet! They tie Idol in the ring ropes! Sawyer gives the Mater his dog chain! The Master wraps the chain around his fist! THE MASTER OF PAIN HEART PUNCHES AUSTIN IDOL!!! Stasiak says in his career, he never had to tie anybody up before he executed the heart punch! This is a disgrace!

Mark Lowrance is with Idol at ringside. Austin is clutching his chest...
LOWRANCE: If you feel up to responding to what we just saw...
IDOL: I've taken the Stud Stable's best shot TWICE!!! I'm still standing! Next wee...NEXT WEEK! Next week, UWA Fury is coming at ya from the Showboat in my hometown, Las Vegas, Nevada! I want one of the stooges from the Stud Stable in the ring! I demand it, Mark Lowrance! You tell Dusek that I demand a Stud Stable member in a match next week! You tell him that, do you hear me, Mark?
LOWRANCE: I hear you and I'll try to pass that on! Don't miss UWA FURY next week from the Showboat Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas!!!
