McMahon, “Don’t worry about that! Tonight, we have a great main event, the Global Champion, Barry Windham, will take on ‘Wild’ Bill Irwin! Let’s go to Howard Finkel!”

Rip Oliver vs. Bob Dellaserra
“The Crippler” has returned to the GWA. He is a vicious veteran. The young Dellaserra has his hands full. Bob tries to use his quickness, but Rip is ready for that. Oliver punishes Bob. The Canadian crowd fries to rally him, but the youngster is in trouble. Rip uses a neckbreaker for the win.

Pedro Morales vs. Dale Veasey
The former World Champion from Puerto Rico makes an appearance. The rugged Alaskan will be a good test for Pedro. Veasey jumps Morales before the bell. He works him over. The Hamilton crowd gets behind Morales, and his Latin temper takes over. He fires back with lefts and rights. Veasey is in retreat. Pedro scoops Dale up into the airplane spin for the win.

Global Television Championship
Butch Reed (Champion) w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Bruce Hart
Reed defends the TV Title against the veteran from Calgary. Heenan puts the bad mouth on Hart. Bruce gives it right back, and that’s a mistake. This gives the Champion a chance to attack. Reed works over Hart. Bruce is tough, and he gives a good go of things, but Reed is too much. He hits the bulldog for the win.
Winner-Butch Reed
We see the “Piper’s Pit” set.
Roddy Piper walks out.
Piper, “Hello everybody, RP here! This is a wired one tonight. I don’t know who my guest is. Apparently, this comes right from the GWA. Well, you know I ain’t afraid of no one, so come on out!”
Bobby Heenan walks out.
Piper, “Boobs, it’s you, and you're by yourself! You’re not that brave!”
Heenan, “You know what Piper, just shut up! I’m out here with a big announcement, and you’re not going to ruin it!”
Piper, “Mighty big talk Boobs, get on with it!”
Heenan, “Everyone knows I’m the best manager in the sport. I’ve got the Global TV Champion, Ric Flair will be the Global Champion again very soon, but I’m missing one thing.”
Piper, “What’s that?”
Heenan, “A top tag team, but now I have one, the newest members of the ‘Heenan Family’…the Islanders!”
Haku and Tama join Heenan.
Piper, “That is big news!”
Heenan, “Soon, I will hold all the titles in the GWA!”
Piper, “Boobs just might have done something right for once!”

The Islanders w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Ben Bassarab and Biff Wellington
The young Islanders wrestle very aggressively. You can see Heenan’s influence already. Tama starts with his quickness. He and Bassarab go back and forth. Haku tags in, and the bigger Islander goes to work. He hammers Ben. Wellington tags in, and tries his hand. Haku is too much, he hits a spin kick for the win. A good tag team just got better.

Buddy Rose vs. Greg Gagne
“The Playboy” is another returning star to the GWA. Gagne is a solid second generation star. Both men can wrestle, and they exchange holds and counter holds. Gagne gets a slight edge, but Buddy fires back with roughhouse tactics. The match is very close, and exciting, but Rose hits piledriver for the win.

Milt Avruskin is with Barry Windham
Avruskin, “Ladies, and Gentlemen, with me is the Global Champion. Mr. Windham, tonight you meet ‘Wild’ Bill Irwin, he is very good, but waiting in the wings is the former Champion Ric Flair. Your schedule is very hectic.”
Windham, “Milt, when you start wrestling, you want to be the Champion. I’ve reached that point. I’m the Champion, everyone wants a piece of me, and I’m ready for anybody, Irwin tonight, Flair later, I am ready to defend this title with pride, and enthusiasm!”

Tito Santana and Tom Zenk vs. Richard Charland and “Mean” Mike Miller
Santana and Zenk are becoming a fine team. Tom opens the contest with Miller. The rugged man from Louisiana starts fast. Zenk is in trouble. The Canadian crowd gets behind Zenk and he rallies. He uses his quickness to take over. He tags in Santana. The athletic Santana goes to work. Charland tags in, and tries to match strength for strength. Tito is too much. He hits a flying firearm for the win.

Windham is the best in the world, but Irwin is no pushover. The bell rings and we are underway. Irwin goes right after the Champion. He lands lefts and rights, and the Champion is in early trouble. Irwin tries to whip Windham into the turnbuckles. Barry reverses it, and Irwin crashes into the corner. Barry moves in, and goes after Irwin. The Champion is so smooth, and confident. He has Bill right where he wants him. Irwin gets in a few last shots, but Windham wins with the bulldog.

Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura close the show.
McMahon, “Jessie, I don’t think anyone can beat Windham.”
Ventura, “My money is on Flair, if Windham has enough guts to get in the ring with him!”
