Jerry Lawler narrates this footage of his title challenge versus Dusty Rhodes for the World title in Asheville this past Monday night, with Ole Anderson as special guest referee! No Baby Doll at ringside maybe we will FINALLY get a one on one bout, and Rhodes can finally put Lawler away. During the match Ole and Lawler clash over the rules as Ole stops Lawler from his underhanded tactics. But Dusty recovers as he grows angry at Lawler’s tactics, and even he has to be stopped by Ole at times, with Dusty even putting his dukes up at his old foe as Ole tugs at his referees shirt. Careful Dream, he’s now the President of WWW, not one of the Minnesota Wrecking Crew!
The argument allows Lawler to Sunday Rhodes, and it’s a back and forth brawl as both men wail on each other with multiple near falls! Ole gets into another argument with Lawler after he throws Dusty out of the ring, Lawler prolongs the jawjacking as he knows he can’t win the title by count out!

Landell and Simmons collide with the ref, Landell puts Simmons in the figure four, but the REF IS OUT . . . . .FAST FORWARD. . .Ron Simmons pins Landell, 1-2-3 as Landell kicks out! The ref declares Simmons the winner, but Landell protests and throws a fit and points to the TV monitor! He and the ref argue, and Ole Anderson enters the ring and talks to both Landell and the ref, and he calls for a review of the instant replay!
Ole, the ref, Simmons and Landell hop down to ringside for the monitor where all four look at the tape. Landell keeps causing trouble pointing to the monitor and demands the ref rewind it, as Ole and the ref wave him away, and Simmons is like ‘come on man’!
