The show kicks off with the IWF banner as we go to the announcer's desk with Les Thatcher & Rick Stewart and ring announcer Mike McGuirk to welcome fans back for the return of the International Wrestling Federation. Thatcher then introduces the IWF Commissioner Jim Barnett who has a few words for the viewers. Stewart then welcomes back IWF World's Heavyweight Champion Bob Backlund who has a few words for the viewers as well before we go to our first commercial break.
