Ross, “Welcome to “Global Monday’! With me is Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura. Jess, we have a great tag team main event, the New Breed takes on the Islanders. We also have a combustible situation in ‘Piper’s Pit’. Roddy Piper’s guests will be the Midnight Express and Jim Cornette. Anything can happen.”
Ventura, “Piper’s mouth may have met its match.”
Ross, “Let’s go to Howard Finkel.”
Match #1
David Sammartino vs. A.J Petruzzi
The second generation powerhouse takes on the big man from Pennsylvania. This will be a battle of strength. Both men exchange power moves. Sammartino gets the better of things. He works over A.J. David slaps on the bear hug, and Petruzzi submits.

Johnny Smith vs. “Mean” Mike Miller
Smith is a powerful young Britt. Miller is a rugged veteran from Lo Ranger, LA, the bell rings and we are underway. Miller rpighs up the Englishman. Smith is in trouble. Miller Traps him in the corner. Smith fights his way out of the corner. Now Miller is in trouble. Johnny overpowers Miller. Mike gets in a few illegal shots, but Smith hits a power slam for the win. We need to keep our eyes on Mr. Smith.

“Wild” Bill Irwin vs. Chick Donovan
Irwin is a hard hitting biker from Minnesota. Donovan will be a good test. The match starts fast. Donovan might have the quickness advantage, and he uses it. Irwin fights back with big boots. Irwin whips Donovan into the ropes, and goes for clothesline. Chick ducks and moves around behind. Irwin catches him, and uses a big boot to end things.
Winner-Bill Irwin
We see the “Piper’s Pit” set.
Roddy Piper walks out.
Piper, “Hello everyone! RP is here! Everyone knows I’m the best talker in the business, but some people think there’s someone who’s close to me. That punk kid, Jim Cornette, thinks he’s smart. He’s not, but he’s got a great tag team. Let’s bring out Cornette and the Midnight Express!”
Jim Cornette and his team come out.
Piper, “Let’s get right to the point. Cornette, you and your men jumped the Freebirds. Your team is very good, but you’re a punk!”
Cornette, “Piper, you better watch your mouth! My Mother has attorneys that will sue the kilt off you! Just Watch it!”
Piper, “The Freebirds are very good, I don’t know if you can beat them.”
Cornette, “Well Piper, you’re from Scotland and you’re not used to a place with indoor plumbing! The Freebirds represent the redneck South, the Midnight Express, and I, are sophisticated, and we should be the Champions! Next time we see them, we’re going to beat them!”
Piper, “I want to see this Match!”

The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette vs. Buck Zumhofe and Bugsy McGraw
Cornette grabs the mic from Howard Finkel.
Cornette, “Ladies, and gentlemen, I present to you, twin sons of different mothers, the two men who will soon be the tag team champions, Lover Boy Dennis, and Beautiful Bobby, the Midnight Express!”
Cornette may be a mouthy Mama’s boy, but he has one of the best tag teams in the sport. The MX go to work. Bobby gos after the bigger McGraw. Bugsy can brawl, and he fights back. Eaton tags in Condrey, and Dennis goes to work. Zumhofe tags n, but Buck has no answer. Cornette orchestrates the action, and the MX win with the rocket launcher.

Tom Zenk vs. The Cuban Assassin
The popular Zenk meets the wild man from the Caribbean. The Assassin jumps Zenk before the bell. He works over the muscleman from Minnesota. Zenk fights back. Now the Assassin is in retreat. Zenk whips his opponent into the ropes, and hits the flying body press for the win.
Winner-Tom Zenk
Milt Avruskin is with General Skandor Akbar and the Iron Sheik.
Avruskin, “With me are General Skandor Akbar, and the Iron Sheik. Gentlemen, you have challenged Randy Savage for the North American Championship. As good as the Sheik is, the ‘Macho Man’ is very good.”
Akbar, “Savage, your days are numbered! North America isn't worth much, but the Sheik and I Will take this title back to the Middle East and dispose of it!”
Iron Sheik, “Savage, you weak American, give up the title, Iran number one, USA hock-ptuy!”
Avruskin, “Savage vs. The Iron Sheik will be a great one!”

Tito Santana vs. Frenchy Martin
The popular Santana meets the Canadian veteran. Santana moves quickly. He gets the better of Martin. Frenchy goes to the illegal tactics. He traps Santana in the corner and works him over. Tito fights his way out of the corner. He hits the flying forearm for the win.
Winner- Tito Santana
Milt Avruskin is with the Fabulous Freebirds.
Avruskin, “With me are, the three members of the Global Tag team Champions, the Fabulous Freebirds. Gentlemen, you heard Jim Cornette out here earlier. They arrived out of nowhere and attacked you, now they want your Titles.”
Hayes, “Cornette has a big mouth, and he always had great wrestlers in front of him. Well, Cornette, there ain’t nothing between us and you, but air! Come get it!”
Here comes the Midnight Express. Cornette grabs the mic.
Cornette, “Hayes, you run your mouth about wrestling anyone, but that doesn't count until your names are on the contract!”
Hayes, “We’ll get it done!”
Avruskin, “This match might get signed!”
Match #7
The Islanders vs. The New Breed
Two of the best young teams in the sport meet here. Haku, the bigger Islander, opens up with Sean Royal. Sean is quicker, and uses that speed to control the early action. Haku fires back with chops and kicks. Now the big man is in control. He tags in Tama, and the quicker Islander goes into action. Tama is very skilled in the martial arts and uses them on Royal. Sean is in trouble, and he tags in Chris Champion. He and Tama go at it. The pace of the match picks up. Champion takes Tama down near the ropes. He covets him, and uses the ropes for leverage. Referee Earl Hebner doesn’t see this, and counts the fall. The Islanders argue, but the New Breed escapes with a tainted win.
Winners- The New Breed

Ross, “That as a miscarriage of justice!”
Ventura, “No, that’s pro wrestling!”
Ross, “We had another great night of action, but wait until you hear this. I am just hearing in my ear, next week, this match has been signed. The Global Tag Team Championship, the Fabulous Freebirds will defend against the Midnight Express, Jess, what a match it will be!”
Ventura, “My money is on Cornette and his guys!”
Ross, “That could happen, don’t miss this one!”
