Ross, “Jess, all the red tape is straightened out, and ‘Global Monday’ is back on the air! It’s good to be back!”
Ventura, “Most definitely Ross! USA got thousands of cards and letters that just said, “Bring Back the Body!”
Ross, “I don’t know about that, but we have a great show for you tonight, Barry Windham, the Global Champion, is here along with the Freebirds, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, and ‘Piper’s Pit’!”
Ventura, “Ha, nobody likes a loudmouth!”
Ross, “And in our main event, Hacksaw Jim Duggan challenges Butch Reed for the Global Television Championship! Let’s get things started with the Champion!”
Match #1
Non-Title Match
Barry Windham (Global Heavyweight Champion) vs. “Mean” Mike Miller
Windham is big, fast, and talented. The rugged Miller, from Louisiana, is as tough as they come. Miller jumps the Champion before the bell. He slams Barry’s head into the turnbuckle. The Champion is stunned, but he fights back. Miller puts up a good fight, but Barry is too much. He was with the bulldog.

Match #2
The New Breed vs. Buck Zumhofe and Chick Donovan
The New Breed are Chris Champion and Sean Royal. They have an unusual look, and manner, but are very talented. Royal stars with Donovan. Chick is an experienced veteran, and holds his own with the youngster. Champion tags in, and he goes to work on Donovan. Zumhofe tags in, but he can’t make any headway. The New Breed wins with the rocket launcher. This is a team to watch.

Mr. Olympia vs. Charlie Fulton
Olympia is a powerful masked wrestler. Unlike many masked men, he wrestles by the rules. The veteran Fulton will be a good text for the newcomer. Olympia is very sharp. Fulton uses his illegal tactics, but the masked man is too much. He wins with the cobra hold.
Winner- Mr. Olympia
We see the “Piper’s Pit” set.
Roddy Piper walks out.
Piper- “Hello everyone, RP here! It’s great to be back! My guests tonight ate two very talented guys, and one other guy. Let’s bring them out.”
Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, Ric Flair, and Butch Reed come out.
Heenan, “Watch it Piper!”
Piper, “Easy Boobs, I’m just funning you. I’ve got a question for you. There used to be four guys, now you only got two?”
Heenan, “Quality over quantity Piper! Look at these two, Butch Reed the TV Champion, and ‘The Nature Boy’, soon to regain the Global Champiomship. That’s why my ‘Family’ is on top of the world!”
Piper, “Well, Ric I’ve known you for a long time, but Wndham is big, strong, and young. I don’t know if you can beat him.”
Flair, “Piper, you’ve got a big mouth! I am the ‘Nature Boy’, I’m “Space Mountain”, I’m the best thing going today! Windham, your days are numbered!”
Piper, “Maybe so, but my money’s on Barry. Now, on to you Reed. You fight big, old, Duggan tonight, you might not be the champion in an hour, or so.”
Heenan, “Who are you, Howard Cosell? You think you’ve got all the answers. You don’t, the Heenan Family rules wrestling!”
Piper, “You might think so, but I doubt it!”

The Fabulous Freebirds (Global Tag Team Champions) vs. Frenchy Martin and The Cuban Assassin
“Bradstreet” Plays and the champions strut to the ring. The ‘Birds are still very confident, but since the Midnight Express jumped them on TV, they have become the hunted. Tonight it will be Gordy and Roberts for the champions. Buddy Jack starts with Marin. Both veterans exchange dirty tricks. Roberts tags in Gordy, and the big Freebirds goes to work. He works over Martin. The Cuban Assassin tags in and tries his hand. He’s no match for Gordy. Terry wins with a power bomb.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage (North American Champion) w/Miss Elizabeth vs. AJ Petruzzi
“Pomp and Circumstances” Plays and the North American Champion comes to the ring. Savage is one of the best in the business. Petruzzi is a veteran from Pennsylvania. Petruzzi tries to overpower the champion. Savage is ready, and he fights back. Randy is smooth, and takes over. He bodyslams the big deer hunter. Savage goes to the top ropes, and hits the flying elbow. Referee Gary DeRusha counts the fall. There is a commotion in the aisle. General Skandor Akbar and the Iron Sheik come to the ring. Akbar takes the mic.
Akbar, “Savage, you wrestle bums like this, show some guts, take on the Iron Sheik!”
Iron Sheik, “Savage, you week American, get in the ring with the Iron Sheik! I will take the North American Championship back to Iran, Iran, number one, USA hock-ptuy!”
Savage takes the mic.
Savage, “The ‘Macho Man’ is ready for you, I’m ready for anyone. Oh yea!”

Milt Avruskin is with Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Avruskin, “With me is Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Tonight, Mr. Duggan, you challenge Bit h Reed for the television title. It won’t be easy.”
Duggan, “Listen Avruskin, old Hacksaw isn’t afraid of anyone! Reed is big, and tough, but not tougher than me! Reed, I’m coming after the title, and I’m taking it from you..HOOOOO!”
Avruskin, “Reed vs. Duggan, for the TV Title later tonight!”

“Nature Boy” Ric Flair w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Phil LaFon
The former Global Champion is out for revenge. Tonight he meets a talented young French Canadian. Flair starts fast. He is still one of the best in the business. He ties LaFon in knots. The Canadian youngster puts up a good fight. Heenan shouts instructions from ringside. Flair takes control. He shouts his famous line, “Now, we go to school!” He clamps on the figure four, and LaFon submits.

Jim Ross is with GWA President Gorilla Monsoon.
Ross, “With me is GWA President Gorilla Monsoon. Mr. Monsoon, after some rough spots, the Global Wrestling Alliance is back.”
Monsoon, “That’s right Jim. The fans of East Coast deserve the best in pro wrestling, and they have it again.”
Ross, “One of the best known things about the old GWA were our big shows. I know you have something in mind.”
Monsoon, “We do Jim. On Saturday night, March 19, we will present the ‘Spring Spectacular”. We will be at the Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo, NY, and the show will be broadcast on pay per view.”
Ross, “Mr. President, the GWA is back in a big way!”

Butch Reed (Champion) w/Bobby “The Brain’ Heenan vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Two big, hard hitting, powerhouses meet in this one. “The Brain” could be the difference. The bell rings, and both men go at one another. The match is as hard hitting as expected. The early moments belong to Duggan. He works over Reed. Heenan is worried. He tries to distract referee Bill Alfonso. It doesn’t work. Reed mounts a comeback. We now have a slugfest on our hands. Both men end up on the arena floor. They slug it out, and Alphonso’s count reaches ten. Both men are counted out. They need to meet again.
Result- Double Count Out

Ross, “Jess, what a night! You know the wrestling world had its eyes on us, and we delivered!”
Ventura, “We have the best in wrestling!”
