2. JIMMY VALIANT versus. RON BASS w Ray Stevens
Somehow Ray Stevens has wormed his way into Ron Bass's corner for this match, and interferes many times, but it backfires as Valiant gets the win over The Outlaw at 7:28! After the match, Ray Stevens is irate and SLAPS VALIANT, WHO RIPS OFF HIS JACKET, SHIRT AND RIPS HIS PANTS LEAVING THE SO-CALLED CRIPPLER NO CHOICE BUT TO RUN TO THE DRESSING ROOM TRYING TO HOLD TOGETHER HIS RIPPED TROUSERS WITH RON BASS ALSO TRYING TO COVER UP HIS MANAGER WITH A TOWEL TO HIDE HIS SHAME!
3. DICK MURDOCH + ADRIAN ADONIS w/Gary Hart DEF. SCOTT + STEVE ARMSTRONG w/Bob Armstrong with Gary Hart interference at 14:17 but after the match both teams and managers ended up in a six-way brawl!
4. THE FABULOUS ONES w/Chick Donovan DRAW Bob Backlund + DON MURACCO, 20:00

DUSTY RHODES V JERRY LAWLER
Baby Doll makes her presence felt as “special referee” early on, stopping Nick Patrick from counting out Jerry Lawler, helping him back in the ring, and distracting Patrick from making pin falls. Despite her yeoman’s work, Lawler berates her and generals where outside the rung she must stand. It seems for weeks now Lawler has been taking out his world title loss on her! Lawler has Dusty on the backfoot, but the Dream makes a comeback if you will and bionic elbows the King, who bounces off the ropes as BABY DOLL TRIPS THE DREAM! The distraction allows a stunned King to hurl himself at Dusty and they collide heads in the middle of the ring and both men are down on the mat, shoulders down, toes up, each with an arm over the others torso.
Ring Announcer: “Ladies and gentlemen, winner of the match and NEW World Heavyweight . . .
WAIT NOT SO FAST! OLE ANDERSON IS HERE, GRABS THE TITLE BELT, AND ORDERS BABY DOLL AND LAWLER OUT! Lawler holds his head and still has the energy to berate and yell at poor Baby Doll. What do you want from this woman, King?
? Ole then speaks to the ring announcer. What is going on?
