VTR:
Superstar Bill Dundee is standing in front of what appears to be a tenement building.
DUNDEE: For those of you people who don't keep up with professional wrestling, my name is Superstar Bill Dundee! I am one of the greatest wrestlers ever, but here lately, I been working as an advisor to some of the best talent in wrestling! I got the Canadian Freight Train, Jos LeDuc! I got the most awesome man in wrestling today, Nord the Berzerker! Now, I'm getting into the tag team business, daddy! I found a team that makes those punks, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson look like a couple of schoolboys! As you can see, I'm in a rough neighborhood. That's where these guys hang out! They are streetfighters and the meaner the streets are, the better they like it! Here they are! Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags...THE NASTY BOYS!!!
KNOBBS: We ain't pretty! We ain't good! We're just plain NASTY! If you wanna see dropkicks and flying headscissors or ballet dancing, you can just change the channel!
SAGS: We hear that there's some real tough guys in the UWA! But the belts are held by a couple of little wimps who wanna sign autographs for teenage girls and kids in children's hospitals! Well, we don't care about teeny boppers or sick children! We just wanna hurt people! Superstar, do you have opponets lined up for us on the big TV show?
DUNDEE: I got some fresh meat for ya! You know what, boys? I can't wait to get up in the morning 'cause I get better lookin each day!
KNOBBS: We seem to get uglier!
SAGS: That's how we like it!
Cut to arena...
The Nasty Boys (w/Superstar Bill Dundee) vs. Keith Eric & Mike Jackson: Dundee's new team are straight ahead brawlers and they give their opponents a vicious beating. Jackson sells it like they are King Kong and Godzilla. Sags pins Jackson after dropping an elbow smash on him off the top rope.

The UWA World Tag Team Champions are here!

Nord the Berzerker (w/Superstar Bill Dundee) vs. CW Bergstrom: Nord is an absolute wildman! After beating Bergrstrom all over the ring, he tosses the rookie over the top rope like an average guy would toss a bag of potatoes into the back of a truck! This gets an automatic DQ, but the Berzerker isn't through! He goes to the floor where he locks Bergstrom in an over the shoulder backbreaker! Nord refuses to relead the hold! Brian Adams rushes to ringside! Lee Marshall stands in front of the UWA logo. He holds a title belt under his arm.
MARSHALL: Fans, we have some major news items for you. First, news about a major championship: Billy Jack Haynes defeated “Dangerous” Dan Spivey this past week to win the Undisputed World Title. UWA bylaws state that when a wrestler wins the World Title, he must vacate any other previously held titles. As a result (Marshall holds belt above his head), the American Title is currently vacant. That leads into our second announcement. The UWA will enter the pay per view market on Febraury 19 with WINTER WARFARE! This spectacular card will originate from McNichols Arena in Denver. If you want to be there in person, you can get tickets now by calling the number on the screen. To see the event in the comfort of your own home, call your cable provider and ask for Winter Warfare! There will be a tournament for this vacant American Title that night. The UWA has also mandated title defenses for the World Title and World Tag Team Championship! We'll have more details in the weeks to come. Right now, let's hear from one of the great wrestlers you'll see on UWA Fury in the coming weeks...
VTR:
“Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer is seated on a stool in a balckened studio.
SAWYER: Well, things haven't been going my way here lately. Ol' “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer is down and out. Rock and Roll Express are still champions and they ran my tag team partner out of the territory! I've been concentrating on tag team wrestling for months, so I'm not in line for any singles title matches. Yeah, you people who don't like me are probably reall happy seeing me in this shape! You need to remember something! I am an ANIMAL! A Mad Dog is like any other animal! When he's hurt and wounded, when he's cornered, THAT'S WHEN HE”S THE MOST DANGEROUS! Rock and Roll Express, you think I can't find another partner? TV Champion Tommy Prichard, World Champion Billy Jack, look over your shoulder, I might be coming after you! They are having a big tournament for the American Title! Don Owen, I better be in that tournament!1988 will be the YEAR OF THE MAD DOG!!! AHHHHWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Get ready! Buckle your seatbelts for a bumpy ride!
Sawywer stands, kicks the stool, and sends it flying! He uses his dog chain to beat the floor!

UWA TV TITLE MATCH: Tom Prichard © vs. The Grappler: Prichard's first title defense on the USA Network is against a rugged veteran. The champ has his hands full and the Grappler comes very close to winning the belt here this week. Prichard lands an impressive enzuguri kick and pins Grappler to retain the title. After the bell, Exotic Adrian Street and Miss Linda make an appearance in the Crow's Nest. Street has a mic.
STREET: I ralize that we are being broadcast on the USA Network. If the USA Networks is like the country from which it gets it's name, the viewers are most likely quite ignorant! Here is some relevant information! I am Adrian Street! I aam an international wrestling star as well as a critically acclaimed recording artist. I once held that title that was just defended, but that hooligan Tom Prichard and another crooked American named Eric Embry concocted a scheme and I was robbed of my beautiful belt! I am thouroughly disgusted by this creep Prichard! His illegal tactics, his matted and filthy hair, and all of his simpleton fans...I am sick of all of that! I understand there will be a pay per view spectacular in Denver next month! Prichard, if you have the intestiunal fortitude, I challenge you to defend that belt against me that night! Let's make it interesting: LOSER LEAVES TOWN!!!
Mark Lowrance enters the ring with Prichard.
LOWRANCE: Tom, in the interest of fairness, I'm giving you equal time to respond!
PRICHARD: I ain't gonna waste valuable air time, flapping my gums like that freak did. My answer to your stinking challenge is “YES!!!!” At WINTER WARFARE, you can kiss the two bit David Bowie impersonator goodbye! And I might give his interfering woman a kiss goodbye so she can experience a real man for the first time!Pack your bags 'cause you're going back to the Royal Forest of Dean, Street! As far as I'm concerned, February 19th can't get here fast enough!

We come out of commercial with a wide shot of the Portland Sports Arena crowd.
MARSHALL: (voice over) The feud between Dan Spivey and Billy Jack Haynes has been a hard hitting, brutal situation. Here is a special look...

The music changes...
The World Champion and his mentor head to the ring. The fans give them a huge pop!
MAIN EVENT: Billy Jack Haynes & Wahoo McDaniel vs. Dangerous Dan Spivey & The Master Of Pain(w/ “Tennessee Stud” Ron Fuller): As hard hitting a match as you will ever see! Both teams dish out a bunch of punishment and it looks like the faces are getting the worst of it. While Wahoo is lured out of the ring to go after an interfering Fuller, Spivey locks Haynes in his own full nelson! Master of Pin is in the ring, he's ready to throw the heart punch! Here comes the heart punch! Haynes gets out of the way and Master of Pin nails Spivey with the heart punch! Spivey goes down like a ton of bricks and Haynes gets the pin! After the match, Fuller and Master of Pain walk away, leving Spivey unconscious in the ring!
MARSHALL: Next week, we'll have another great program of UWA Fury!
