Stan, Don Owen was true to his word, as always: He has signed an Undisputed World Title Match for our Main Even and it will be televised!
STASIAK: Yes, Wahoo McDaniel will challenge Dangerous Dan Spivey for the title here tonight! Right now, we'd better get down to the ring where Ricky and Robert are in action!

VTR:
Don Owen is seated at a table in a conference room with Don Coss standing by, microphone in hand. A large man is also seated at the table.
COSS: Big news here from the offices of Portland Wrestling. After weeks of negotiations, Don Owen is about to sign one of the hottest young stars in professional wrestling...”Midnight Soldier”Brian Adams.
OWEN: Brian, it's a real pleasure to bring you to the Northwest. I look forward to bringing you to the Portland Sports Arena because I know the fans here will really enjoy watching you. I'm sure you and your legal representation have had the opportunity to review this document (Owen pushes the contract across the table).
ADAMS: I have looked it over and everything looks great!
Adams signs the contract
OWEN: Don Coss, I have introduced a lot of wrestlers to the world who have gone on to be top superstars. Names like Piper, Rose, Haynes,Snuka, and many others. This man has the potential to fit in that category!
COSS: Brian, tell the fans about yourself...
ADAMS: I'm 23 years old. I'm 6'6 and I weigh almost 300 pounds. I have been wrestling for around a year. I'm from Kona,Hawaii. I was trained in Japan by the great Antonio Inoki and Tatsumi “the Dragon” Fujinami. I can't wait to wrestle for the great fans here in Portland.
COSS: What kind of style do you use in the ring?
ADAMS: I've worked really hard to build my body in the gym. With my size, it's only natural to be a power wrestler. I've watched many hours of tape of Billy Jack Haynes and he's a role model for me.
COSS: Where did the name “Midnight Soldier” come from?
ADAMS: I volunteered for the military after high school. I learned a lot about training and the martial arts in the service. I still use a lot of that in the ring. Also, I've always been a night person. I do most of my working out when most people are sound asleep. The promoters in Japan found out about my background and gave me that name. I like it and decided to keep it.
COSS: What is your finishing move?
ADAMS: I use the claw to end most matches. I have a lot of power in this right hand!
COSS: The Midnight Soldier, Brian Adams, is on his way! Expect big things from this young man!
We cut to the Crow's Nest. Stan Stasiak is standing by.
STASIAK: I'm joined by the TV Champion, Exotic Adrian Street, along with his valet, Miss Linda. I see a title defense scheduled, but I don't see an opponent named.
STREET: There's a reason for that. So many wrestlers or “so called” wrestlers are attempting to get title matches. I believe that only worthwhile opponents should be considered. Years ago, when I was a rookie in the UK, a veteran wrestler gave me a televised match and that was my big break. Being a magnanimous individual myself, I thought I would do something similar. Do you see what Miss Linda has?
Linda holds up a pink bowler hat.
STASIAK: An ugly pink hat?
STREET: Can anything pink ever really be unattractive? I think not! In that lovely chapeau are the names of several worthy young grapplers. I shall selct a name from the hat and that name will receive a championship match!
Street reaches into the hat and pulls out a slip of paper. He hands it to Stasiak...
STREET: Read it and weep, Stanley!
STASIAK: (reading) It's Alan West.
STREET: A fine young wrestler.
STASIAK: Hold on just a second! West is nowhere near a top contender! He is a good wrestler, but he has only wrestled a few times in the Northwest1
STREET: It will be quite a challenge, but I shall do my best!
Street and Linda head for the ring as Stasiak shakes his head!
TV TITLE MATCH: Exotic Adrian Street (w/Miss Linda) vs. Alan West: At first, it looks like Street may have made a mistake as West controls the action. Street rolls out of the ring several times to break West's momentum. Street does manage to retain as he pins the challenger with a crucifix pin.

VTR: A nurse pushes a wheelchair carrying Billy Jack Haynes out of the hospital. Billy still wears a neck brace.
BILLY: I can walk. I hate for you to have to waste your time on pushing me. I feel fine!
NURSE: Hospital policy, Mr. Haynes.
BILLY: I understand. Just doing your job...
They exit the hospital a truck is waiting for them. Wahoo exits the truck as Billy stands to his feet. He hugs the nurse.
BILLY: Hey, thanks for taking such good care of me! You and the other nurses are welcome to come watch me wrestle at the Sports Arena any time.
NURSE: You take care of yourself, Billy! And good luck to you!
WAHOO: OK, Billy, let's go. If you want to hold onto that belt of yours, we got a lot of hard work to do!
BILLY: I heard that!
We cut to Billy(still wearing the brace) working out in the gym with Wahoo supervising him. It becomes a music video from this point...
We see Billy on the treadmill, Nautilus, and exercise bike. We also see him doing preacher curls with a dumbell.
As the music fades, Wahoo slaps Billy on the back and Haynes address the camera:
BILLY: Spivey, I won't stop until I can get back in that ring and get revenge for what you did to me! I promise all my fans that Billy Jack is coming back and it will be sooner than you think!!!
Dan Owen comes to the ring and grabs the microphone.
OWEN: Ladies and gentlemen, we have a problem.
Before he can finish, Ron Wright strolls to the ring. He is followed by two huge men...
Afa!!!
KOKINA!!!
Wright and his team enter the ring.Ron grabs the mic from Owen.
WRIGHT: My beloved Super Samoans are here, Don Owen! Afa and Kokina, the most awesome team in the world! What seems to be the problem?
OWEN: Here's the situation: the two youngsters who had signed to wrestle your team saw them come into the building and they left! I guess you win by forfeit!
WRIGHT: Are you telling me that your locker room is full of gutless wonders?
OWEN: Look, if anybody back there is willing to wrestle these men, it is a chance to take on a tough team on TV! Is there anybody who will step up?
The crowd cheers! Here come two courageous individuals.....it's Vic Steamboat and Sam Houston!!!
Super Samoans(w/Ron Wright) vs. Vic Steamboat & Sam Houston: The two young lions are obviously outsized here this week, but they are fired up and give it everything they have! Steamboat makes the mistake of attempting to sunset flip Kokina. Kokina merely sits on Vic to score the pin. Ron Wright has a team to be reckoned with here! Wright gets the ring mic...
WRIGHT: They said they was competition up here! I don't see none! If no big name teams will come to us, we'll go after them!
COMMERCIAL
Master of Pain(w/Ron Fuller) vs. CW Bergstrom: The Master looks unstoppable as he demolishes the popular Bergstrom. Master of Pain gets the pin after nailing a heart punch. Stasiak, a past master of the move, explains how dangerous the heart punch can be to the TV audience.

COSS: Recently, Bill Dundee invited our camera crew and me to come to his personal gym to speak with he and Jos LeDuc. You won't believe what happened!
VTR:
Don Coss walks into a large, open room filled with weights and exercise equipment. Jos LeDuc is doing a bench press with Superstar Bill Dundee as his spotter.
COSS: Superstar Bill Dundee invited me here this week. You see Dundee and Jos LeDuc doing weight training.
DUNDEE: That's ok for now, Jos! Good job!
COSS: Bill Dundee, I understan your new man is here...
DUNDEE: Nope, hasn't made it yet!
LEDUC: He'll be here! Are you sure you want to see him that bad?
COSS: I am interested.
DUNDEE: Look, don't ask a lot of dumb questions, he don't like talkin much!
COSS: I'll keep that it in mind!
Suddenly a sword blade stabs through one of the walls! The blade hacks a large hole in the wall. Then, a huge man enters the room through the hole...
DUNDEE: Lookit, Don Coss! Ain't he great? I bet you ain't never seen anything like him! With him and big Jos, nobody better mess with the Superstar, daddy!
COSS: Who is he?
DUNDEE: This is NORD THE BERZERKER!!! People like Ken Patera and Wahoo McDaniel, even Billy Jack Haynes, if he ever comes back, better be on the lookout for Nord!
LEDUC: Look at him! He's a wildman! If I team up with him, do you think the Rock and Roll would have a chance?
COSS: He's a big one, but I'll reserve judgment until I see him in the ring!
DUNDEE: You won't believe it, brother!
Cut to Crow's Nest...
COSS: Dundee has got two very large men on his side. They look dangerous!

Iceman King Parsons & Bad Leroy Brown vs. “Mr. Magificent” Kevin Kelly & Caveman Broda: Stasiak informs us that the “Bod Squad” team of Kelly & Steve DiSalvo decided to split up. Kelly found a unique individual from Canada to team with him here tonight. There are hard feelings between Kelly and the Parsons/Browm combo, so this is an intense bout. Kelly gives his opponents all they want and itt's a close match, but Kelly eventually tags in Broda. It goes downhill for the heels after that and Brown pins the Caveman after a big elbow drop. A disgusted Kelly doesn't even check on his partner! He stalks away, angry and disgusted! The faces have little chance to celebrate as Ron Wright leads Kokina & Afa into the ring and they back jump Iceman & Leroy! The Super Samoans decimate the faces. They hit stereo Samoan drops on Parsons & Brown and Kokina follows that by splashing each of them! Wright grabs the house mic from Owen...
WRIGHT: I told you, Mr. Promoter! If the tough teams won't come to us, we'll go to them! Rock and Roll! You can run, but you can't hide! This is the first of many South Pacific dog whuppins my Samoans are gonna dish out!

STASIAK: OK, before our main event, I have a rising young star, “Mr. Magificent”, Kevin Kelly. Tough loss tonight, Kevin...
KELLY: Stan, tag team wrestling is not a winning strategy! I'm done with it! Steve DiSalvo was a pretty good partner, but tonight was a joke! What I want is that Northwest Title! Billy Jerk, as soon as you get over what Spivey did to you, I'm asking for a shot! Somebody gave you a shot once, Haynes! Will you have the guts to do the same?
STASIAK: I admire your ambition and I wish you well. We'll have to wait and see if Haynes is able to come back before the 30 day deadline is up. Right now, we have an outstanding main event, ladies and gentlemen!
MAIN EVENT (2/3 FALLS): UNDISPUTED WORLD TITLE MATCH: Dangerous Dan Spivey © vs. Chief Wahoo McDaniel:
1st fall: Wahoo goes on the offensive right away, throwing devastating chops and using basic wrestling moves and holds to get the advantage. Spivey comes back and uses power moves to get heat on Wahoo and wear the vetran down. Spivey goes up 1 fall to zero as he gets Wahoo in a jackknife pin and braces his feet on the ropes for extra, illegal leverage. The Chief protests to David Manningh, but he can't call what he can't see!
2nd Fall: Wahoo is fired up! He tears into Spivey like a wildman and the champ has no answer for his raging opponent! Spivey resorts to throwing Wahoo over the top rope to get intentionally disqualified!
3rd Fall: With each man having a fall, they go all out and baet the daylights out of each other! The action spills out of the ring! Wahoo and Spivey are too interested in mauling each other to pay attention to the ref and the result is a double countout in the deciding fall! Spivey retains the title. He grabs the belt and starts to stalk out of the arena. Wahoo grabs the house mic!
WAHOO: Spivey, you big jerk! I don't know you can call yourself a champion after that! I know Billy Jack wants you, but I think it's got to the point where I want you just as bad! Let's settle this thing right here next week! I say we settle it like I've always settled things...with an Indian strap match! I've never been beaten in that match! Let's get it on! Title, non-title, all the same to me! This is personal now!
COSS: Oh, wow, that would blow the roof off of the Sports Arena! I hope we get to bring that match to you fans! Be sure to get your tickets here at the Sports Arena, just in case!
DARK MATCHES:
“Midnight Soldier” Brian Adams pinned Mean Mike Miller with a claw hold.
The Rock and Roll Express & Ken Patera fought Matt Borne, Buzz Sawyer, & Jos LeDuc to a wild double DQ.
Before the next bout, Don Owen announced that Wahoo McDaniel would take on Dan Spivey in a strap match next Saturday at the Sports Arena. He said Tom Peterson really wants the match on TV, but he's squeamish about airing such a violent type of bout!
Ron Garvin pinned “Black Ninja” Kendo Nagasaki(w/”Tennesee Stud” Ron Fuller) with an inside cradle. After the bell, Fuller tried to jump Garvin, but Ronnie hit him with a right hand and gave him the Garvin stomp!
