Billy Red and Patterson welcome us to Vancouver, British Columbia for this week’s episode of Pro Wrestling Canada’s Titans of the Ring!
This week, we’ll see the Heavenly Bodies make their in-ring debut! The Killer Bees will be in action!
The Berzerker will face two men in a Handicap match! Owen Hart and Brian Pillman will be in tag team action!
The Riot Squad, Dick Slater and Bad News Allen, will be here!
Plus, we’ll see a video of Ted Dibiase!
THE HEAVENLY BODIES: TOM PRITCHARD & JIMMY DEL RAY (w/ Luscious Johnny V) defeat NICK DECARLO & BOB MARCUS. The Heavenly Bodies make their debut, along with manager “Luscious” Johnny V. They make short work of DeCarlo and Marcus, getting the win after they hit Marcus with a Double Flapjack, and Pritchard pins him.
THE KILLER BEES: JIM BRUNZELL & BRIAN BLAIR defeat LOS CONQUISTADORS. The Killer Bees get the win over the masked duo when they hit one of the Conquistadors with a Double Dropkick, and Brunzell pins him.
We go to a pre-taped “PWC UPDATE” segment. We see Billy Red Lyons, and in the background, a shot of wrestling in a jam-packed Maple Leaf Gardens.
Lyons talks about the anonymous offers that came in to buy Rick Martel’s International heavyweight championship. After several weeks of increased offers, we saw Ted Dibiase show up to make one final offer, of $250,000!
VTR: Two Weeks Ago:
Suddenly, Martel and Reynolds are interrupted by Ted Dibiase!
Dibiase is dressed in an expensive suit, and he’s carrying a briefcase. He takes the mic, then opens the briefcase, showing that it’s full of money!
Dibiase says that he’s invested his money very wisely over the years, and as a result, he’s now a multi-millionaire! Over the years, he’s found one thing to be true . . . everybody’s got a price! He says that he’ll make a final offer, he’s got $250,000 in this briefcase, and all Martel has to do is hand over the International title, and the money is his!
Martel says that he’s already given his answer, the title is not for sale, if Dibiase wants it, he’ll have to get in the ring and beat Martel for it!
Martel then walks off, leaving a LIVID Ted Dibiase at the interview podium!
Dibiase tells Reynolds that this isn't over!

Billy Red says that Dibiase decided to offer the $250,000 as a bounty on Martel instead! He says that was a despicable thing to do, but he’s sure there are plenty of wrestlers that will gladly try to injure Martel for that kind of money.
Lyons then sends us to vignette from Ted Dibiase, now referring to himself as “the Million Dollar Man”.
2 ON 1 HANDICAP MATCH
THE BERZERKER (w/ Mr Fuji) defeats GINO BRITO JR & FRANKIE LAINE. The wild Berzerker gets the win after hitting Brito Jr with a brutal Gourdbuster, then slamming Laine on top of him, and pinning both men at the same time!
Jack Reynolds is at the interview podium with International heavyweight champion Rick Martel. Reynolds says that last week, Dibiase put a $250,000 bounty on Martel!
Rick says that shows everyone what kind of man Ted Dibiase is, he doesn’t get his way, so he does something like this!
At that point, Mr Fuji comes out, and says that Martel is a very stupid man, coming out here, with so many wrestlers looking to collect Dibiase’s bounty!
As Fuji is talking, the Barbarian and the Warlord sneak up behind Martel and attack him!
Fuji tells Reynolds that his Powers of Pain are going to take Martel out and collect the $250,000!
Warlord and Barbarian pummel Martel, but Dino Bravo and the Rougeau brothers quickly arrive on the scene, and they chase the Powers of Pain away!
OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN defeat JEFF SWORD & DOUG VINES. Owen and Pillman are very impressive here, and they get the win when Pillman hits Sword with a bodypress from the top rope for the 1, 2, 3!
World Mid-Heavyweight champion Dynamite Kid comes out and watches the final moments of the match from ringside, but leaves as Owen and Pillman are getting their hands raised by the referee.
THE RIOT SQUAD: DICK SLATER & BAD NEWS ALLEN defeat DON KOLOV & RON RITCHIE. The Riot Squad certainly live up to their name, they attack Kolov and Ritchie as soon as the bell rings, and pummel them mercilessly for the next several minutes. Allen and Slater toy with their opponents, several times they have either Kolov or Ritchie covered, only to pull them up by the hair at the count of 2! Finally, Allen connects with a brutal Enziguri on Kolov, and covers him for the 1, 2, 3!
Lyons and Patterson wrap things up, and hype next week’s show.
