Billy Red and Patterson welcome us to Winnipeg, Manitoba for this week’s episode of Pro Wrestling Canada’s Titans of the Ring!
This week, we’ll see the Killer Bees in action! The Dark Samurais, Masa Chono and Keiji Mutoh, will be here! We’ll see Mark Rocco in action!
Canadian National champ Dino Bravo teams up with Jacques and Raymond Rougeau for 6-man tag team action! Abdullah the Butcher will be here!
Our feature bout will see Owen Hart battle the Belfast Bruiser Fit Finlay!
Plus, The Genius will visit Yale University, and we’ll talk with Ted Dibiase regarding the events that took place on last week’s show!
THE KILLER BEES: JIM BRUNZELL & BRIAN BLAIR defeat JEFF SWORD & DOUG VINES. During the match, we see an insert promo from Dick Slater and Bad News Allen, who say that the Bees knew they couldn’t beat them last week, so they kept them outside the ring to force the double count-out! Slater says that the next time they meet, the Riot Squad will be victorious!
The Killer Bees get the win here, when they hit Sword with a Double Dropkick and Blair covers him for the 1, 2, 3.
We go to a pre-taped “PWC UPDATE” segment. We see Billy Red Lyons, and in the background, a shot of wrestling in a jam-packed Maple Leaf Gardens.
Lyons talks about Scott Hall’s recent return to Canada, saying that he’s been on quite a winning streak. We see footage of Hall’s recent matches, which he has been winning with a Powerbomb. Lyons says it’s one of the most devastating moves he’s ever seen!
We also see footage of Hall working out in the gym, riding his motorcycle, sparring in the ring, and chatting with some beautiful women!
Lyons says he predicts big things from Scott Hall here in Pro Wrestling Canada!
Jack Reynolds is at the interview podium with Mark Rocco and The Belfast Bruiser Fit Finlay. Reynolds says that they’ll both take part in the upcoming tournament for the World tag team titles, but before that, Finlay has a match today with Owen Hart. Reynolds says Owen feels that Finlay cost him the World Mid-Heavyweight title at the Great Canadian Bash.
Finlay laughs, and says that Owen Hart is a punk, he couldn’t beat the Dynamite Kid, so he made excuses to try to save face with these idiot fans! Finlay says that there’s nothing he loves more than beating people up, and today, he’s going to give Owen Hart the beating of his life!
Rocco says that after Finlay embarrasses Owen Hart here today, they will go on to win the tournament and become the World tag team champions!
THE DARK SAMURAIS: MASA CHONO & KEIJI MUTOH defeat BOB MARCUS & GINO BRITO JR. Chono and Mutoh get the win when Mutoh connects with a Moonsault on Marcus for the 1, 2, 3!
MARK ROCCO defeats CONQUISTADOR #1. Rocco gets the win over the masked man, delivering a Tombstone Piledriver for the 1, 2, 3!
We go to a pre-recorded segment, featuring The Genius.
This week, he’s at Yale University.
The Genius says Yale is YET ANOTHER school that begged him to attend, but again, they just weren’t up to his standards.
This time, as the Genius is insulting the school, a group of security guards walk up to him. He says that he’s not signing autographs right now. They tell him he has to leave, but the Genius starts to walk past them.
The largest of the group of security guards stops him, and all the guards grab him. We then cut to a shot of the main entrance into the school, and we see the Genius come flying out, landing on his face on the grass!
The Genius gets up, brushes himself off, and says that if this is how they treat a man of his intelligence, then it’s no wonder Yale’s reputation is in the toilet!
He then storms off!
DINO BRAVO & JACQUES & RAYMOND ROUGEAU defeat BARRY HOROWITZ & NELSON ROYAL & EL MEDICO. Bravo gets the win for his team, when he drives Royal into the mat with the Backdrop Suplex, and covers him for the 1, 2, 3!

ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER (w/ Mr Fuji) defeats NICK DECARLO. Abdullah attacks DeCarlo as soon as the bell sounds, and pummels him. Fuji looks very pleased as Abdullah, with a wild look in his eyes, tears DeCarlo apart, before hitting the Butcher’s Axe elbowdrop for the 1, 2, 3!
Jack Reynolds is at the interview podium with Ted Dibiase. Reynolds says that things didn’t go quite according to plan for Dibiase last week.
VTR: Last Week on Titans of the Ring:
Martel says that the title is not for sale, no matter the amount.
Suddenly, Martel and Reynolds are interrupted by Ted Dibiase!
Dibiase is dressed in an expensive suit, and he’s carrying a briefcase. He takes the mic, then opens the briefcase, showing that it’s full of money!
Dibiase says that he’s invested his money very wisely over the years, and as a result, he’s now a multi-millionaire! Over the years, he’s found one thing to be true . . . everyone’s got a price! He says that he’ll make a final offer, he’s got $250,000 in this briefcase, and all Martel has to do is hand over the International title, and the money is his!
Martel says that he’s already given his answer, the title is not for sale, if Dibiase wants it, he’ll have to get in the ring and beat him for it!
Martel then walks off, leaving a LIVID Ted Dibiase at the interview podium!
Dibiase tells Reynolds that this isn’t over, and he storms off!

Dibiase says that Rick Martel is an idiot, he should have taken the money! Now, Dibiase says that he’s going to take a different approach . . . instead of buying the belt, he’s going to take the $250,000 and offer it as a BOUNTY!
Dibiase says that whoever takes out Rick Martel will become $250,000 richer!
Dibiase ends with his signature evil laugh!
OWEN HART defeats “THE BELFAST BRUISER” FIT FINLAY. This is a wild one, as Owen tries to use his speed to his advantage, while Finlay seems more interested in turning the match into a brawl!
After about 10 minutes of non-stop action, Owen gets the upper hand, and heads to the top rope. Hart connects with the Missile Dropkick off the top, and gets the 1, 2, 3!
Lyons and Patterson wrap things up, and hype next week’s show.
