The program opens with “Piper’s Pit”. Roddy Piper walks out.
Piper- “Welcome to ‘Piper’s Pit”! I told you the GWA was changing, and it starts tonight! The second biggest thing that happened at ‘Memorial Mayhem’ was the Global Title changing hands, the biggest was me showing up! This man is the new Global Champion...Barry Windham!”
Windham walks out.
Piper, “Barry Windham, I remember you when you were a little kid. Your dad used to bring you into the locker. I’m proud of you, it’s not easy to beat someone like Flair.”
Windham, “Thank you, that means a lot coming from you.”
Piper, “I wasn’t finished. Congratulations, you ‘re about to be in big trouble. Everyone in wrestling will be coming after you! I may be one of those guys. You better grow eyes in the back of your head!”
Windham, “Piper, I know all about you, I’ll keep an eye on everybody, especially you!”
Piper, “I think this kid is ready to be the Champion!”
Match #1
Iceman King Parsons vs. “Mean” Mike Miller
Two underrated wrestlers meet in the opener. Parsons uses his quickness to frustrate the tough guy from Louisiana. Miller mounts a comeback. He roughs up the Iceman. The match goes back and forth until Parsons hits the bottom bump for the win.

Steve Simpson vs. Nacho Berrera
The popular African meets the veteran from south of the border. Steve starts fast. He flies around the ring, and Berrera is frustrated. He tries several underhanded tactics, but Simpson recovers. He hits the flying body press for the win.

Kendall Windham va. Gary Royal
The younger Windham returns from his injuries. He takes on the veteran Royal. Windham starts fast. He whips Royal into the ropes, and clamps on the sleeper. Royal fights his way to the ropes. The match continues, and Windham takes control. He uses the bulldog for the win.
Winner-Kendall Windham
Milt Avruskin is with General Skandor Akbar.
Avruskin, “Fans, this man needs no introduction. General Skandor, what are you doing in the GWA?”
Akbar, “That’s right Avruskin, everyone knows who I am. I came to the area for two reasons. First, I want a lot of money. I’m rich, but I want to be richer. Second, I hate America, it’s an evil country, and I Want to destroy any American wrestler that gets in my way!”
Avruskin, “I hate to ask this, but where are your wrestlers?”
Akbar, “Be patient, the General will reveal his army in his time! I a, about to take over the tag team division. If you hate America, you want a team that hates America too. My team, the Bolsheviks!”
Nikolai Volkoff, and Boris Zhukov walk out.
Avruskin, “Volkoff and Zhukov! That's a big, powerful team!
Akbar, “Finally, I am a very important man, and I have a lot of enemies. I can’t always watch my back, so I hired someone who can, my personal bodyguard, the Mongolian Stomper!”
The Stomper walks out and stands behind Akbar with his arms crossed.
Akbar, “Now I’m talking to the biggest, dumbest American! Hacksaw Jim Duggan, you fool, you talk about patriotic, well I’ve found a man to take that Grand Prix Championship from you. If you want to embarrass an American, the best thing to do is pay off an American to do it. I have...Wild Bill Irwin!”
The rugged Irwin walks out.
Irwin, “Duggan, you talk about red, white, and blue, well I’m interested in green, and the General has a lot of it!”
Avruskin, “Wow! The General has a powerful army! When we return, Wild Bill Irwin is in action.”
Match #4
Wild Bill Irwin w/General Skandor Akbar and The Mongolian Stomper vs. Tom “Rocky” Stone
The rugged biker from Minnesota has turned his back on America, and taken Akbar’s money. He jumps Stone before the bell. Irwin seems even more aggressive with the General behind him. He batters Stone. “Rocky” has no answer for this. Irwin hits the big boot for the win. Akbar has an impressive array of talent.
Winner-Wild Bill Irwin
We see a video package from “Memorial Mayhem” set to “Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi.
Match #5
The Islanders vs. Jose Estrada and Johnny Rodz
The Islanders have been very impressive since arriving in the GWA. Tonight they face two rugged veterans. Tama starts with Rodz. Johnny uses all his illegal tactics, and Tama is in trouble. He fights his way out of the corner, and tags on Haku. The bigger Islander gets the better of Rodz. Estrada tags in, but fares no better. Haku hits a power slam for the win.
Winners-The Islanders
We see footage from “Memorial Mayhem”.
Vader climbs to the top rope and hits a second Vader bomb. Blackwell is out. Medical personnel rush to the ring. They load Blackwell onto a stretcher, but Vader kicks over the stretcher. He starts to climb the ropes again . GWA President Gorilla Monsoon has made his way to the ring. He grabs the house mic.
Monsoon, “ Vader, I am fining you $10,000! If you come off the ropes again, you are suspended for one year!”
Vader stares at Monsoon, but climbs down from the ropes. Who can stop this monster?
Match #6
Big Van Vader vs. Keith Larson
Vader comes to the ring, and destroys Larsen. He punishes the smaller man. The man from the Rocky Mountains hits the Vader bomb for the win. Vader grabs the mic.
Vader, “I destroyed Blackwell! He’ll never wrestle again! Who’s next!? Who can stop Vader!?”
Winner-Big Van Vader
Milt Avruskin is with Butch Reed and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan.
Avruskin, “With me is the television champion, and his manager. Gentlemen, Mr. Reed defeated Tom Zenk, but tonight he meets Tito Santana. Are you ready?”
Heenan, “Ready? This Mexican jumping bean is no match for the champion. Butch Reed is the greatest television champion of all time, some guy who just dog paddled across the Rio Grande is going to beat him!”
Avruskin, “That’s very disrespectful to Mr. Santana. He’d been a top wrestler for some time.”
Reed, “He May be a top wrestler, if I'm a champion, something he’ll never be!”
Avruskin, “The television title is up for grabs next!”

Global Television Championship
Butch Reed (Champion) w/Bobby “The Brain’” Heenan vs. Tito Santana
This should be a great matchup. Both men are cautious. They respect the abilities of the other. They lock up, and the powerful Reed grabs a side headlock. He grinds away and Tito is in trouble. Heenan looks very pleased at ringside. Santana gets to the ropes and referee Bill Alphonso calls for the break. Tito decides to use his speed. This gives him the edge for a time. Reed fights back, and we have an exciting contest on our hands. The action continues to back and forth until the bell rings. The 10 minute time limit has expired. The bout is a draw.

Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura close the show.
Ross, “Jess, what a show! The action is going to be hotter than the summer weather!”
Ventura, “It sure is Ross!”
Ross, “That’s going to continue next week. Piper’s Pit will be back, and the guest will be Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Will he accept Akbar, and Irwin’s challenge? Our main event will be a Global Tag Team Title match, the new champions, the Fabulous Freebirds, will take on the Simpson Brothers! What a show!”
