Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura open the program.
Ross, “Welcome to ‘Global Monday’! Jess, ‘Spring Stampede’ is underway.”
Ventura, “Some of the best wrestling action is coming to every arena in the GWA. You don’t want to miss it.”
Ross, “Let’s talk about tonight. We have a Global Television Title match. Champion Billy Jack Haynes defends against, one of the Four Horsemen, Butch Reed. This might be too much for Haynes to handle.”
Ventura, “Haynes is a fake strongman, Reed is too powerful for him, we’re going to see a title change!”
Ross, “Maybe so Jess. Let’s go to the ring.”
Match #1
Steve “Dr. Death” Williams w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Lanny Poffo
Poffo’s athleticism will have to combat Doc’s power. Lanny Starts fast. He hits a runs, and that keeps Williams off balance. Doc is frustrated, and he takes to the floor to confer with “The Brain”. Williams returns to the ring. He slows the pace of the match. He punishes Lanny, and hits the Oklahoma stampede for the win.

Non-Title Match
The Road Warriors (Global Tag Team Champions) vs. Gary Royal and Nacho Berrera
The Champions storm the ring and attack their opponents. They toss both Royal and Berrera out of the ring, and the crowd goes crazy. Both men return to the ring, but they have no chance. The Warriors destroy them, and hit the doomsday device on Berrera for the win.

Match #3
Mike Rotundo vs. Iron Mike Sharpe
The popular Rotundo meets the rugged Canadian. Sharpe jumps Rotundo before the bell. He pounds away and Mike is in trouble. Referee Earl Hebner forces Sharoe to back away. Sharpe yells at the official. Rotundo is able to regroup and begins a comeback. He takes over and wins with the airplane spin.

Milt Avruskin is with Blackjack Mulligan.
Avruskin, “With me is a wrestling legend, the big man from Eagle Pass, TX, Blackjack Mulligan. Blackjack, welcome to The GWA.”
Mulligan, “Thank you Milt. This is where the wrestling action is the best, and I wanted to be part of it.”
Avruskin, “You have been in the sport for a long time, and held titles all over the world. What are your plans in the GWA?”
Mulligan, “You’re right, I have won a lot of titles, but I want one more. Ric Flair, you and I go back a long way, and I think you’re one of the best champions in history, but I’ve beaten you before, and I’ll do it again, I want the Global Title!”
Avruskin, “Blackjack Mulligan challenges Ric Flair! You know that Flair will have an answer to this challenge.”
Match #4
Blackjack Mulligan vs. Randy Barber
The massive Mulligan has made the challenge for the Global Title. Tonight he meets, another big man, Randy Barber. Both men exchange blows, and the veteran Mulligan takes over. He punishes Barber, and uses the claw for the win.

Match #5
The Simpson Brothers vs. Johnny Rodz and Jose Estrada
The younger Simpson brother, Shaun, has arrived from Africa. The young ladies quickly take to him like they have Shaun. Steve starts with Rodz. Johnny tries to rough up the youngster, but Steve fights backs. He tags in Shaun. He is a house afire. Estrada tags in, and tries his hand. Shaun hits a flying bodypress for a three count. The Simpson Brothers have arrived!
Winners-The Simpson Brothers
Milt Avruskin is with Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
Avruskin, “With me is the North American Champion. Mr. Roberts, it has just been announced that you will defend your title, next week, against Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage. Many people believe that it is only a matter of time before he regains the title.”
Roberts, “I have made a lot of money doing things the experts didn’t predict. Savage, you keep coming, I give you credit for that, but you haven’t taken this back, and you’ll never win it. I am about to end this thing. This will be your last shot, I promise you that. Elizabeth, what are you going to do when your man has no chance to be a champion again?”
Avruskin, “Jake Roberts is very confident, but what will happen next week? Jake will be in the ring next.”
Match #6
Non-Title Match
Jake “The Snake” Roberts (North American Champion) vs. Jimmy Backlund
“The Snake” takes on a young newcomer. Backlund is aggressive, and it slows Roberts somewhat. Jake recovers and fights back. Jake hits his knee lift followed by a short clothesline. The end is near. Roberts hits the DDT for the win. He takes Damien out of the bag and drapes it over Backlund. It’s going to take the best of Savage to beat him.

Milt Avruskin is with Bobby Heenan and Butch Reed.
Avruskin, “With me are Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan and Butch Reed.” Mr. Reed will challenge Billy Jack Haynes for the television title. Is Mr. Reed ready?”
Heenan, “Ready? Ready for that muscled head dummy? Of course he is. Buch, tell this moron.”
Reed, “Billy Jack, you got a lot of muscles, but so do I. The difference is, I have a brain. I’ll out think you, you big dummy! Butch Reed is leaving here with the TV Title!”
Avruskin, “Let’s go to Jim Ross and Billy Jack Haynes.”
We see Jim Ross and Billy Jack Haynes in an interview area.
Ross, “With me is the Global Television Champion. Billy, you meet Butch Reed tonight. He’s one of the best.”
Haynes, “I respect Reed. He is one of the best in wrestling. I’m looking forward to battling him. I know that Heenan is going to be around, and you have to watch out for him. I’ve said this before, I won this for the fans, and I keep defending it for them.”
Ross, “Billy Jack Haynes is a man of the people.”
Match #7
Global Television Championship
Billy Jack Haynes (Champion) vs. Butch Reed w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan
Two very strong men meet for the TV Title. They lock up, and both try to to prove their strength. Neither man takes a step backwards. Reed puts the bad mouth on Haynes. That won’t bother Billy. The match goes back and forth. Things begin to go the Champion’s way. Heenan is worried. He shouts instructions to Reed. Butch goes to roughhouse tactics. This gives him the edge. Billy fights back, and we have a brawl. Both men end up near the ropes. Haynes goes for a suplex, but Reed blocks it. Butch gets Haynes up,for a suplex. Heenan doesn’t realize it is his man, and he reaches in and trips him. Reed falls with Haynes on top of him. Referee Gary DeRusha counts the fall. Heenan costs his man the match! Reed is livid. He argues with “The Brain” as Haynes leaves the ring.
Winner-Billy Jack Haynes
Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura close the show.
Ross, “The Brain outsmarted himself.”
Ventura, “Yea, a mistake on his part.”
Ross, “Let’s talk about next week. We have a North American Title match, Jake Roberts defends against, the former champion, Randy Savage. Also Jess, the ‘Body Shop’ returns.”
Ventura, “That’s right, I’m going to talk to that big dummy Mulligan. What’s he doing challenging Ric Flair?”
Ross, “The North American Title, and the ‘Body Shop’, don’t miss it!”
