Ross, “Welcome to ‘Global Monday’! Jess, we have two titles on the line tonight. Billy Jack Haynes defends the Global Television Title against Al Madril, and in our main event…”
Ventura, “The Fabulous Freebirds defeat the Road Warriors to win the Global Tag Team Championship!”
Ross, “That may be, the eyes of the wrestling world are on us tonight. Let’s get things started with ‘The Fink’!”
Match #1
Tony Atlas vs. Nacho Berrera
The powerful Atlas takes on the rugged veteran from Mexico. Berrera tries several underhanded moves, but Atlas survives this and takes over. Tony uses his strength to control the action, and wins with a press slam.

Bugsy McGraw vs. Rip Oliver
The fans love the off beat McGraw. He taunts Oliver. Rip is a veteran, and this won’t unnerve him. The match is hard hitting. Bugsy is not a skilled wrestler, but he can fight. Oliver also uses roughhouse tactics, and we have a pier six brawl. Referee Earl Hebner can’t control The action, and calls for the bell. Both men are disqualified.
Result-Double Disqualification

Mike Rotundo vs. Iron Mike Sharpe
Rotundo has been very impressive since arriving in GWA. He starts fast, and Sharoe is frustrated. He complains to referee Bill Alphonso. Sharoe uses his arm guard to dish out punishment. Rotundo mounts a comeback. He uses the airplane spin for the win.

Milt Avruskin is with Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
Avruskin, “With me is the North American Champion, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts. Mr. Roberts, I’m sure you heard Randy Savage, and Miss Elizabeth, out here last week. She doesn’t seem afraid, and neither is the ‘Mscho Man’.”
Roberts, “Little Eve had guts, a lot more than her man. Savage this is a man’s sport. Quit hiding behind a woman’s skirt. I’m not backing down from you, I’ll get in the ring with you again, and I’ll walk out with this title. Savage come get, but you can’t.”
Avruskin, “Jake Roberts seems ready for Randy Savage.”

Non-Title Match
Jake “The Snake” Roberts (North American Champion) vs. David Sammartino
The Snake will give up a lot of strength in this one. Jake will use his bag of dirty tricks to offset that. Sammartino starts fast. He overpowers Jake. Roberts is frustrated, and slides out of the ring to regroup. Jake returns, and lands a kick to the midsection. The tide begins to turn, and Jake takes over. He uses the DDT for the win.

Butch Reed w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Lanny Poffo
The newest Horseman has been very impressive. He can’t overlook the veteran Poffo though. The early moments of the match are closely contested. Poffo uses his speed and athleticism to counteract Reed’s power. Finally, Reed takes over and wins with a Bulldog.

Global Television Championship
Billy Jack Haynes (Champion) vs.Al Madril
The veteran from Los Angeles will be a good challenge for Haynes. Billy starts fast. He overpowers Madril. Al is in trouble. Madril tries underhanded tactics, and it slows Haynes. Billy shakes it off, and clamps on the full Nelson. Madril submits. The television champion has been very impressive.

Avruskin, “With me are tonight’s challengers for the Global Tag Team Champions. The Fabulous Freebirds meet the Road Warriors. Michael Hayes, which two of your men are going to wrestle tonight?”
Hayes, “What are talking about Avruskin, and I want to tell you, you dress like a clown! I can’t believe your wife let’s you out looking like that!”
Avruskin, “Alright, but which two are wrestling?”
Gordy, “Keep your nose out of our business! We don’t have to tell you anything!”
Hayes, “Easy Bam Bam, don’t waste your time on this twerp. Look Avruskin, we don’t have to announce anything ahead of time. We we get to the ring, you’ll know who’s wrestling!”
Avruskin, “Well, I didn’t get anywhere. Let’s go to Jim Ross and the Champions.”
Jim Ross is with the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering.
Ross, “With me are the Global Tag Team Champions, and their manager. Mr. Ellering, your Road Warriors take on the Fabulous Freebirds, but no one know which two Freebirds will be in action. Does that worry you?”
Ellering, “Jim Ross, look at my Road Warriors, does it look like we are worried! We’ve beaten everyone in our path, and we have destroyed them all. We don’t care which two are in the ring! We are not giving up these titles!”
Animal, “Hayes, I want you in the ring! You’ve got a big mouth, and we want to shut it! Tell ‘em Hawk!”
Hawk, “Well, there’s three of you, and two of us! That means you’re at a disadvantage! Of what a RUSHHHHHHHHH!”
Ross, “Our main event is next.”

Global Tag Team Championship
The Road Warriors (Champions) w/Paul Ellering vs. The Fabulous Freebirds
This is the “Clash of the Titans”. Referee Bill Alphonso demands that one of the Freebirds leave the ring. Hayes argues, and Alphonso begins to count. Finally, Hayes leaves the ring, and it will be Roberts and Gordy. Animal and Roberts start the contest. It looks like a mismatch, and physically it is, but Buddy Jack knows all the tricks. Animal uses his strength, and he controls the action. He works over Roberts. Hayes shouts instructions from ringside. Roberts lures Animal in Tne Freebirds’ corner. He lands a kick to Animal’s lower abdomen. He then tags in Gordy. Now Animal is in trouble. The Freebirds dish out punishment. The ‘Birds tag in and out, and Hayes gets in a few shots. Animal is able to break free, and he tags in Hawk. He clears the ring. All three Freebirds confer on the floor. Alphonso begins to count. The Freebirds return to the ring. The match continues, and gets even more wild. Finally, the action gets totally out of control. Alphonso calls for the bell. He disqualifies both teams. This has settled nothing.
Result-Double Disqualification

Ross, “Jess, we are running short on time, what a tag team match!”
Ventura, “Ross, this one isn’t over by a long shot!”
Ross, “Before we leave you, we have an announcement from someone we all know.”
We see Dusty Rhodes in an interview area.
Rhodes, “‘Spring Stampede’ is coming, and so is the ‘American Dream’!”
