We go to the IWF set with play by play announcer Bob Caudle & color commentators Charlie Platt & Rick Stewart. Bob tells everyone that the three championships will be decided Saturday, January 23, 1987, at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, Mississippi. Commissioner Thesz comes out and makes the following the announcement. The board selected the following matches to decide the three major titles. Billy Robinson meets Antonio Inoki for World's Heavyweight Belt. The Nightmares square off against the Zambuie Express for the World's Tag Team Belts. And 'Superstar' Bill Dundee faces Tatsumi Fujinami for the World's Junior Heavyweight Belt. Bob, Charlie & Rick briefly discuss the pairings before going to the first commercial of the day. Charlie adds that today's show features Dos Caras vs. Bill Ash, Bill Dundee vs Denny Brown, Don Diamond vs the Big O, Soul Train Jones vs Tom Shaft & the Nightmares vs. Vince Apollo & Art Crews.
