Craig Johnson and Commissioner Harley Race open the show.

Johnson, “Welcome to Columbus, OH, the ‘birthplace’ of ACW. We have a great show for you tonight. In the main event 2 Cold Scorpio and his mentor, Tony Atlas, will meet Tex Slazangar and Shanghai Pierce. We will see Japanese newcomer, Dynamite Kansai, in action as she meets Chaparrita ASARI. The American Tag Team Champions will be in action, as well as Tommy Dreamer, but let’s begin with this. This news report is from local Columbus TV station WBNS Channel 10.”



We see a tape of the Columbus Anheuser-Busch brewery. We see the Sandman being escorted out by security guards. A plant spokesman is interviewed.

Spokesman, “This man, who apparently goes by the name of the Sandman *, was on one of our tours. He jumped the barricade and grabbed several cans of beers, opening them and began consuming them. He was chased and then apprehended by our security staff. We removed him and he informed us, ‘We ain’t had no time to drink that beer’*. We escorted him out of the building.”

*America references

Johnson, “The Sandman was arrested, booked and spent the night in a Columbus jail. He posted bail and was released this morning. He will meet ‘Surfer’ Ray Odyssey in our first match. If you remember correctly, these two team two weeks ago and it didn’t end well. Let’s see what happened.”

We see highlights from two weeks ago.

Johnson, “Ray Odyssey looks for revenge in our first match. Now on to Commissioner Race, Mr. Race you have some comments.”

Race, “Yes I do Craig. First of all the Sandman is nuts, just like a lot of guys I knew in the old days. Now on to more important matters. We announced, last week, the big live show for August 15. I will have more information, later in the program, including the main event.”

Johnson, “That will be big news. Now let’s go to the ring and see if Ray Odyssey can get his revenge.”

Match #1
The Sandman vs. “Surfer” Ray Odyssey

The match is a brawl. The Sandman wins with a Russian leg sweep. He then grabs his Singapore cane and begins to pummel Odyssey. Referee Jimmy Jett warns the Sandman and then disqualifies him. Sandman leaves Odyssey in a heap.

Demolition Ax def. J.T. Smith (5:42) w/clothesline

Boni Blackstone is with the “Wild Bunch”.

Boni, “With me is the Wild Bunch. Gentlemen it was announced last week that you get a tag team title shot at the big live show in August. Which two of you will wrestle that night?”

Black, “Listen woman, and I use that term loosely, we are claiming ‘The Freebird Rule’. You’re too stupid to know what this is, so I’ll tell you. The ‘Freebirds’ were a great three man tag team and there was a rule that any two of them could wrestle on a given night, the ‘Wild Bunch’ is a great team like the Freebirds, so we can do the same thing.”

Duncum, “Green Berets you shine those belts up real nice because we’re coming for them and we aim to take them!”

Deaton, “Listen to me missy, you get someone to teach you to make biscuits and you don’t have to come out here and ask stupid questions.”

Boni, “The Wild Bunch, enlightened, as usual.”

After the bell the Wild Bunch hit the ring. All five men brawl until wrestlers from the back break things up. Rambo grabs the mike.

Rambo, “Wild Bunch go ahead and jump us from behind! On August 15, it’ll be two of you against two of us! It’ll be a fair fight, you don’t want that!”

Joe Pedicino is with Tommy Dreamer.

Pedicino, “With me is Tommy Dreamer. Tommy you’ve been in ACW for a couple of weeks and people have been very impressed. You are, like you said, a fighter.”

Dreamer, “I like it here. The people are tough and like to fight. I want to move up in the rankings and I’d like to get some type of title shot, until then, I’ll fight anybody, any time!”

Pedicino, “There is a big live show coming up in a couple of weeks. I know you’d love to be on that card.”

Dreamer, “I’ve got an open contract. I’ll wrestle anyone in ACW. I don’t care.”

Pedicino, “Tommy Dreamer is ready for action. Let’s see him in the ring.”

The Spellbinder vs. Mikey Whipwreck

Whipwreck and referee Jack Doane wait in the ring. The lights go out in the arena. The ring is bathed in green light, suddenly the lights come back up and the Spellbinder attacks Whipwreck. Mikey gives his usual great effort. It takes the Spellbinder two powerslams to win the match.

Boni Blackstone is with 2 Cold Scorpio and Tony Atlas.

Boni, “With me are Tony Atlas and 2 Cold Scorpio. Gentlemen things are going well for you. You both have winning streaks and people are talking about 2 Cold as a potential contender for the American Heavyweight Championship.”

Atlas, “Thank you Miss Boni. Things are good for us. 2 Cold has been a great student. He gets better every time out and he does deserve a shot at that title.”

Scorpio, “Tony is a great teacher. I’m getting better and better. I don’t want to take anything away from Busick, he’s really tough. He needs to get away from, that fruitcake, Brother Love, but he is dangerous wrestler. Put the title on the line, and I’ll take it from you!”

Boni, “The fans would love to see that match.”

Johnson, “Commissioner Race Scorpio and Atlas look very good. Scorpio is very close to earning a title shot.”

Race, “Yes he is. When the ‘Championship Committee’ meets again I know his name will come up.”

Johnson, “As we announced previously August 15 will be a big night. ‘ACW Live!’ will be on the air. We will give you the matches scheduled. First of all, Shanghai Pierce will meet young Mikey Whipwreck. Tommy Dreamer will meet the second member of Brother Love’s tag team Tex Slazanger. The controversial Sandman takes on Vic Steamboat. Mr. Race the Sandman has been a handful.”

Race, “He’s seems a little unhinged. He’s a fighter, but his behavior seems to hurt him more than help him. We’ll keep an eye on him.”

Johnson, “We have even more to announce. The womens division of ACW has been the talk of the wrestling world. The Japanese ‘imports’ have been very impressive. We will see two more on August 15. The tag team of ‘Double Inoue’ will be in action. These two ladies are not related, but they work together like a well oiled machine. Let’s see highlights of ‘Double Inoue’ in action.



Race, “They look very exciting. Our womens division is the envy of pro wrestling and this will only help it.”

Johnson, “The remainder of the card has a tag team theme to it. As announced earlier, the American Tag Team Champions, the Green Berets, defend the titles against the ‘Wild Bunch’. The ‘Wild Bunch’ has invoked the ‘Freebird Rule’, which states any two of the three members of the team can be in action in any given match. Also ‘Men on a Mission’ will take on the Tahitian Savage and Bull Pain. We have a six man womens tag team match, Akira Hokuto and ‘Las Cachorras Orientales’ meet Aja Kong, Bull Nakano and Dynamite Kansai. That brings us to our main event. I am going to let Mr. Race announce this one.”

Race, “This one is a blockbuster. We feel we have some of the best wrestlers in the world on our roster and four of them will be in our main event. The American Heavyweight Champion, Nick Busick, will team with Demolition Ax to meet 2 Cold Scorpio and the Television Champion Wolf Hawkfield.”

Johnson, “Wow! What a match. Here’s even more volatile news, next week, we will be at the Civic Arena in Pittsburg, and all four of those gentlemen will be with us, along with Tony Atlas and Brother Love. What a powder keg that will be! Don’t miss it!”

Johnson, “Welcome to ‘American Championship Wrestling’. We have a lot to talk about. ‘ACW Live!” is just three days away. You may wonder who this handsome gentleman standing next to me is, well it’s my new announce partner Todd Pettengill. Todd is a very popular radio host on the East Coast and has spent some time announcing wrestling in Canada. Todd welcome to ACW.”



Pettengill, “Thank you Craig. It’s great to be here. ACW is the talk of wrestling and now I’m part of it. I couldn’t be happier.”

Johnson, “We are here at the ‘Igloo’ in Pittsburgh. On Tuesday we will be at the Civic Center in Wheeling, WV, and we will present an exciting night of live wrestling action. The main event that night will be an exciting tag team match featuring these men, 2 Cold Scorpio, Wolf Hawkfield and Tony Atlas.”

They come out to join Johnson and Pettengill.

Johnson, “Gentlemen you meet Demolition Ax, and the American Heavyweight Champion, Nick Busick. This will be some match.”

Hawkfield, “This is a challenge, but life is about challenges. You must rise to meet them and move through them. I have a great partner and Mr. Atlas is a great mentor. The odds are long, but we will be ready, and we will prevail.”

Scorpio, “Nick Busick this is the first step. Wolf and I will win on Tuesday and then I am coming for the American Title and I will win it!”

Atlas, “These two young men are ready and I’m excited! Brother Love you stick your nose into things and I’m going to teach you a lesson too!”

Johnson, “We will talk to Ax, Busick, and Brother Love later in the program, but now let’s see Hawkfield and Scorpio in action.”

Love, “Brother Todd welcome to ACW! I hope you will bring a clean and pious outlook to the broadcasts, not like the shameless hussy who was here before. Brother Bully and Brother Ax are two of the finest competitors in wrestling. Brother Bully is the American Heavyweight Champion and Brother Ax will soon be the TV Champion, they do not fear anyone, especially that heathen redskin and that brash, cocky, Scorpio.”


Pettengill, “Brother Love I give your men credit. They are not coasting. In our next match they meet a fine tag team, Charlie Norris and Bobby Blaze.”


Love, “My men are always pushing themselves to the limit. They fear no one. Brother Todd, I want you to remember one thing….I looooove yooooou!”

Those three join Johnson and Race.


Johnson, “Gentlemen you looked good tonight, and the big match is now only three days away.”

Nick Busick, Demolition Ax and Brother Love come out.


Love, “Brother Scorpio please do not embarrass yourself. You still have time to take Brother Hawkfield back to the reservation and save yourselves the humiliation.”


Hawkfield and Scorpio step towards Love.


Race, “Listen we don’t want any trouble. The first man who throws a punch will be fined $1,000.”



Atlas decks Brother Love.

The show opens with highlights of Tony Atlas decking Brother Love from last week.

Craig Johnson and Todd Pettengill open the show.

Johnson, “Welcome to Wheeling, WV, and ‘ACW Live!’. We have a fantastic two hours of live wrestling for you tonight. We will talk about Tony Atlas and the best $1,000 he ever spent later in the program. We have eight exciting matches. You will see an exciting six woman tag team match, the tag titles are on the line, four of the biggest names in ACW will be in our main event, but to get things started, let’s see some video of an incident that happened this morning.”

We see video tape of what appears to be a “still” in the arena parking lot. The Sandman is working on it.



Johnson, “Apparently Sandman set up this ‘still’. The local police showed up and this happened.”

We see more video. Police arrive and destroy the still. The Sandman becomes belligerent and they haul him away.

Johnson, “We don’t know if the Sandman will be here, or not, but let’s go to the ring for our first match.”

Match #1
The Sandman vs. Vic Steamboat

Steamboat waits in the ring. “Enter Sandman” hits and the Sandman comes to the ring carrying this.



Sandman grabs the mike.

Sandman, “Those Barney Fife West Virginia cops can bust up my still, but I saved some.”

Sandman takes a swig and sets the bottle on the announce table.

Sandman, “Don’t let Race close to this. We know he’s an alcoholic!”

The match is very even, until the Sandman picks up the roughhouse tactics. He lands the Russian leg sweep for the win. Steamboat is stunned. Sandman goes to the announce table to get the jug. He returns to the ring and pours some on Steamboat and then drinks the rest.

Second Match
Tommy Dreamer vs. Tex Slazanger w/Brother Love

This is a brawl. Dreamer is able to win with the DDT.

Johnson is with Tommy Watanabe.

Johnson, “When ACW was formed a commitment was made to feature the best womens wrestling in the world. We believe we are doing that. Aja Kong, who holds WWWA Title, has been the ‘Queen of the Hill’ for some time, but now, the ‘Dangerous Queen’ Akira Hokuto is on the scene. Women’s wrestling expert Tommy Watanabe is with me. Tommy what’s your take on the situation?”

Watanabe, “ACW is the talk of the womens wrestling world. Aja Kong and Akira Hokuto are the two biggest names in the sport. The fact Hokuto has challenged Kong for the ‘Red Belt’ is an earthshaking event.”

Johnson, “Our next two matches will be womens matches. The second match will be the debut of the team known as ‘Double Inoue’. Kyoko and Takako Inoue are unrelated, but a fine team. They meet youngsters Chaparrita ASARI and Candy Okutsu. In our next match the team of Aja Kong, Bull Nakano and Dynamite Kansai take on Akira Hokuto and ‘Las Cachorras Orientales’. This will be a wild one.”

Aja Kong, Bull Nakano and Dynamite Kansai vs. Akira Hokuto and Las Cachorras Orientales

The match is unbelievably fast paced. Kong and Nakano are successful early due to their size and strength. LCO and Hokuto use their determination to rally. All six women are in the ring. Hokuto get Kong up in the Northern Lights bomb. She hits it and the massive Kong crashes to the mat. Referee Jack Doane counts the fall. Hokuto picks up the ‘Red Belt’, looks at it, and tosses on top of Kong. The crowd goes crazy.

Double Inoue vs. Chaparrita ASARI and Candy Okutsu

The newcomers are very impressive. The youngsters, ASARI and Okutsu, put up a good fight, but Kyoko Inoue lands a Niagara driver on Okutsu for the win.

Johnson, “Alex Wright is a young man from Germany. He is the son of British wrestler Steven Wright. Alex will be coming to ACW in the coming weeks. He is known as ‘Das Wunderkind’ which means ‘wonder child’. After seeing this video, you will know why.”



Johnson, “Alex Wright is one of the brightest young stars in wrestling. He will be here soon. Now let’s go to two prerecorded interviews.”

Todd Pettengill is with the Wild Bunch.

Pettengill, “With me is the Wild Bunch. Gentlemen which two of you are going to wrestle tonight?”

Deaton, “It’s none of your business! The ‘Freebird Rule’ says we don’t have to tell anyone before the match, and we darned sure ain’t gonna’ tell you!”

Duncum, “It’s gonna’ be two of us, you can count on that Pettengill! What kind of a name is that anyway? Pettengill, sounds like some kinda’ fish.”

Black, “Oh leave him alone, he can’t help it. He was born a sissy, or a woman, or both. Who knows! Listen you little weasel, Joel told you, we don’t have to tell anyone until we get to the ring and that’s what we’re going to do!”

Pettengill, “Mystery surrounds the Wild Bunch.”

We now see Petengill with the Green Berets.

Pettengill, “Gentlemen the Wild Bunch has refused to announce which two of them will be in action tonight. Does that worry you?”

Kirchner, “The unknown is something that Rambo and I faced every day in battle. The enemy does not reveal its plans to you, or its force strength. We are not worried. We have defended these titles with honor and we are prepared.”

Rambo, “The battle will test you. Your enemies will push you to the limit. Victory will go to the one that is prepared and the one that does not quit. Cpl Kirchner and I defended this country with bravery against all odds. We will do the same tonight. The Wild Bunch are a faceless opponent. Whoever steps in the ring with us should prepare for war!”

Pettengill, “The Champions are ready!”

American Tag Team Championship
The Green Berets (Champions) vs. The Wild Bunch

Both teams are in the ring. Referee Jim Molineaux orders the Wild Bunch to declare who will wrestle. They go through several faints and fakes and finally it’s Joel Deaton and Billy Black. Bobby Duncum Jr. will be at ringside, not a good thing for the Champions. The match is face paced and hard hitting. The Green Berets look good early, but the roughhouse style of Black and Deaton. Black lands a moonsault on Kirchner and Molineaux counts the fall. The Wild Bunch are the American Tag Team Champions!

Men on a Mission w/Oscar vs. The Tahitian Savage and Bull Pain

Four big men go at it in this one. The popular Men on a Mission win when Mabel lands the big splash on Pain. Oscar leads the crowd in a rap. This is a team to watch.

Mikey Whipwreck vs. Shanghai Pierce

The masked man pounds away at Mikey. Whipwreck keeps coming back and taking more punishment. Shanghai whips the kid from Buffalo into the corner and follows him in. Mikey sidesteps him and Pierce crashes into the corner. Mikey is able to roll him up and referee Jimmy Jett counts the fall. Mikey wins! He grabs the mike from Todd Petengill, “Yo Adrian! I did it!” The crowd goes crazy.

Johnson, “Mikey wins! Unbelievable! Coming up is our main event. Let’s see what happened last week.”

We see the confrontation at the end of the program. Commissioner Harley Race threatens anyone who throws a punch with $1,000 fine. Tony Atlas decks Brother Love.

Johnson, “Let’s hear from Brother Love and his men.”

Love, “Brother Atlas you did not show me looooove! You hit me! You will pay for that! I am a man of looooove and understanding, but I have my limits and I have reached it! Brother Bully and Brother Ax will make Brother Scorpio and that savage redskin pay for their sinful behavior and it will happen tonight!”

Ax, “Hawkfield I’m not as flamboyant as Brother Love. I just tell you what I am going to do. I am going to plant a seed of doubt in your mind. I want the TV Title and I am going to show you I can take it. After tonight you will know that.”

Johnson, “These men seem ready. Let’s go to Todd Pettengill with their opponents.”

Pettengill, “With me are 2 Cold Scorpio, Wolf Hawkfield and Tony Atlas. Gentlemen the big moment is here.”

Hawkfield, “Ax you are legend in this sport. Legends are very real to my people. I will not speak poorly of you, you have achieved much in wrestling and now you want the TV Title. It will be a challenge for me, one that I relish and will not back down from. After tonight I will meet you for this title and I will fight with every ounce of being in me. I will not give up this title.”

Pettengill, “Strong words. Mr. Scorpio are you ready?”

Scorpio, “Nick Busick I want the American Heavyweight Title, I’m going to take that title from you! Get yourself ready for the fight of your life!”

Pettengill, “Tony your wallet is $1,000 lighter.”

Atlas, “I said it last week, the best money I ever spent. Brother Love if you stick your nose iinto things tonight, I’ll take care of you again!”

Pettengill, “It’s main event time!”

Wolf Hawkfield and 2 Cold Scorpio w/Tony Atlas vs. “The Bully” Nick Busick and Demolition Ax w/Brother Love

The match is a brawl from the opening bell. Both teams have their moments. There are several near falls. Every time Brother Love moves toward the ring, Tony Atlas moves toward him. Busick and Scorpio are the legal men in the ring, but all four men are battling it out. Ax and Hawkfield are battling in one corner. Scorpio slams Busick and then climbs to the top rope. Brother Love starts to climb into the ring, but Atlas grabs him and clamps on the full Nelson. Scorpio hits the 450 press. Referee Jim Molineaux counts 1…2…3! Scorpio and Hawkfield win! Atlas drops Love in a heap and celebrates with his men

Johnson, “Commissioner Race what a show! ACW is on fire.”

Race, “Yes it is Craig. This night just shows where professional wrestling is headed in the 90’s.”

Johnson, “if it’s the end of the show, it means you have an announcement for us, and it’s probably a big one.”

Race, “You’re right about that. Fans circle the date September 6, 1994 on your calendars. Beginning that night, and every Tuesday after that, ‘ACW Live!’ will air on ESPN 2 at 8:00PM. That’s right, live weekly ACW action on ESPN 2.”

Johnson, “Wow! What a way to close the show! Join us on Saturday night for fallout from this show and this big announcement.”

Craig Johnson and Todd Petengill open the show.

Johnson, “Welcome to the historic Cincinnati Gardens. This venerable old building has seen great wrestling action of the years. Buddy Rogers and Loo Thez wrestled here, as did Ric Flair, now ‘ACW’ is here.”

Petengill, “Craig ACW is on fire! The big show on Tuesday night was fantastic. Tonight’s show will answer a lot of questions, I think.”

Johnson, “I think you’re right Todd. First bit of news, we have new American Tag Team Champions, the Wild Bunch, and they will be in action later in the program. Akira Hokuto pinned Aja Kong and that has worldwide repercussions and in the big match, 2 Cold Scorpio pinned Nick Busick and now is in line for an American Heavyweight Title shot. That’s a lot on our plate, let’s get started with Akira Hokuto in action.

Petengill, “With are the new American Tag Team Champions the Wild Bunch. Gentlemen congratulations on your victory.”

Deaton, “Shut up you little sissy! Just let us talk. We told you we would be the Champions and we did it, didn’t we?”

Pettengill, “Yes you …”

Duncum, “We told you to shut up! This time it was Billy and Joel, next time it might be me and Billy, you never know. The Wild Bunch is on top and we’re not leaving any time soon.”

Pettengill, “There are many top teams waiting for a title shot, Men on a Mission for one.”

Black, “Those two elephants? You’ve got to be kidding me! Those two, really three, fools come out here like it’s a circus and they’re in the center ring, they’re not even funny!”

Men on a Mission comes out.

Oscar, “You three got big mouths! You the Champions, we accept that, but now give us a chance. Mable and Mo are ready for you, you chicken?”

Black, “Listen to me you clowns, we don’t respect you and we won’t wrestle you!”

Pettengill ,”The Championship Committee may have a different view of things. When we return, the Champions will be in the ring.”

Pettengill, “Wolf you and 2 Cold Scorpio were successful in Wheeling, but you know that Demolition AX still wants the TV Title.”

Hawkfield, “That is very true. He is a tough competitor and I respect him as a man, and as a wrestler. He will push the rules, but you must be ready for that. “

Pettengill, “Negotiations are under way for you two to meet one on one in the ring.”

Hawkfield, “I back down from no challenge. I entered the world of professional wrestling to test my limits and Ax will do just that.”

Pettengill, “You knew that Wolf Hawkfield would not back down.”

Pettengill, “Mikey congratulations! You have a winning streak going. Everyone has been impressed by your ‘never say die’ attitude.”

Whipwreck, “Thank you Todd. I love wrestling, and I want to be good. I’m not very big, but my heart is. I want to wrestle anyone and I’m ready to take on the best.”

Pettengill,”Mikey I have something to read to you. This letter was sent to ACW and it concerns you.”

Whipwreck, “Really?”

Pettengill, “Here goes. Dear MIkey, I am a big wrestling fan and you are my favorite. You try very hard and you don’t give up. I love watching you wrestle, signed your biggest fan. P.S. I really think you’re cute. Mikey the letter also smells really nice.”



Whipwreck, “Wow! That’s great. I didn’t know I had any fans.”

Pettengill, “I think Mikey has many, many fans. Let’s go to Craig Johnson, who is with Tony Atlas and 2 Cold Scorpio.”

Johnson, “With me are Tony Atlas and 2 Cold Scorpio. Gentlemen you and Wolf Hawkfield showed Brother Love, Nick Busick and Demolition Ax a thing, or two in Wheeling. There is a building sentiment that 2 Cold is the true Number One contender and deserves a title shot against Busick.”

Atlas, “2 Cold is ready, if Busick ducks him he’s a coward!”

Scorpio, “Busick, you on borrowed time, just remember that!”

Johnson, “Commissioner Race will out here later with some information on this situation. Now let’s see 2 Cold Scorpio in action.”

Johnson is seated with Commissioner Harley Race.

Johnson, “Commissioner Race I know you have a lot to talk about, but I’d like you to address one issue right off the bat. Rumors are swirling that Brother Love was injured by the full Nelson of Tony Atlas at ACW Live! last Tuesday.”

Race, “I don’t know. I have heard the same thing. It seems no one has seen Brother Love since Tuesday, not that anyone has really looked for him.”

Johnson, “I agree with that. Now about next week. We will be in Louisville, KY at the legendary Louisville Gardens. What are we going to see?”

Race, “We have two title matches scheduled. First of all the, the American TV Title is one the line. Wolf Hawkfield will meet Demolition Ax, and this time, the time limit has been extended to 20 minutes. That will hopefully give us a winner. Also we have been in contact with All Japan Womens Wrestling and the match has been signed. Akira Hokuto will challenge Aja Kong for the WWWA Title. You won’t want to miss that one. Finally we will have an announcement on the number one contender’s position in ACW. Who will challenge Nick Busick for the American Heavyweight Title? You’ll find out next week.”



Johnson, “Wow! What a jam packed show. Remember that will be our last taped show. On Tuesday night, September 6, ACWLive! returns. Don’t miss all the ACW action!”

Johnson, “Welcome to the Louisville Gardens. What a night of wrestling we have for you, Akira Hokuto challenges Aja Kong for the WWWA Title, the Sandman is here, as is Tommy Dreamer, Wolf Hawkfield defends the TV Title in a 20 minute match against Demolition Ax and Commissioner Harley Race will announce the number one contender for the American Heavyweight Title, but first let’s talk about a teddy bear. That’s right a teddy bear.”

We see a large teddy bear on the announce table.



Johnson, “Let’s call Mikey Whipwreck out here.”

Whipwreck comes out and shakes hands with Johnson and Pettengill.

Johnson, “Mikey this is getting very interesting. Last week we received a letter from a fan of yours. This week we received this teddy bear and this note. I will read it. Dear Mikey, I sent you this teddy bear because it reminds me of you. It’s cute, but also big and powerful. I am such a big fan of yours and I love what you do in the ring. Next week, in Columbus, I’ll be there to see you wrestle live, signed, your biggest fan. P.S. I can’t wait to see you!”

Johnson hands the bear to Mikey.

Johnson, “This is yours.”

Mikey, “I don’t know what to say. I’m honored, but I’m also confused.”

Johnson, “I guess we’ll see next week. Now let’s see Mikey in action.”

Johnson is with Tommy Watanabe.

Johnson, “Tommy All Japan Womens Wrestling has agreed that Akira Hokuto deserves a shot at the ‘Red Belt’ and it will take place in our next match.”

Watanabe, “The world is watching ACW. The ‘Red Belt’ is very prestigious and whoever holds it is looked upon as the top female wrestler in the world. I believe we have to two best in action tonight. If the ‘Dangerous Queen’ can defeat Kong the result will reverberate across the Pacific.”

Johnson, “What a match that will be. Now let’s go to Todd Pettengill with Tommy Dreamer.”

Petengill, “With me is Tommy Dreamer. Tommy when you came to ACW you told us you were a fighter, well you proven that. The fans have rallied behind you and your never say die attitude. “

Dreamer, “Look I told everyone to not expect a lot of wrestling moves from me. I know some, and use some, but I’m a fighter. There are a lot of tough guys here and I’m not backing down from any of them.”

Petengill, “Tommy will be in action later in the program. Let’s go to the ring for the womens title match.”

WWWA Championship
Aja Kong (Champion) vs. Arika Hokuto

The match has a “Big Fight” feel to it. The early moments are very even. Both women are cautious. Things begin to sway towards the “Dangerous Queen”. Hokuto goes for the Northern Lights Bomb, but Kong blocks. Kong tries the uraken, but Hokuto ducks it. The action spills out to the floor and referee Jack Doane has no choice but to count out both wrestlers.

Tommy Dreamer def. J.T. Smith, w/DDT

Pettengill is with the Sandman, who is drinking what appears to be a mint julep.



Pettengill, “Is that a mint julep?”

Sandman spits out the drink.

Sandman, “No! It’s green water!”

Sandman reaches into his pocket and pulls out a bottle of Kentucky Bourbon. He drinks it and tosses it aside. The bottle smashes.



Sandman, “Now that’s what I needed.”

Pettengill, “O.K. Sandman, you have shaken things up around here. You have impressed people in the ring, but some of your extracurricular actions have taken people aback.”

Sandman, “Listen Pettengill, and by the way, that’s the most stupid name I’ve ever heard, I’m here to separate the men from the boys. We all know I’m a man, and it looks like there are an awful lot of boys around her. I can out drink any one and out fight anyone!


Pettengill, “I guess that’s true.”

Sandman, “Guess? Get in the ring with me and I’ll prove it!”

Petengill, “No thank you. Hack Myers is waiting in the ring.”

Pettengill is with Demolition Ax.

Pettengill, “Ax you get what you wanted, a 20 minute time limit. You have come close beating Wolf Hawkfield and many people think this is your night to become the TV Champion.”

Ax, “I’m a veteran, you might even call me a wily veteran. 20 minutes is what I need. I give Hawkfield credit. He’s a good young wrestler, but he can’t match up with me. I’ve held titles in every major wrestling organization in the world, and ACW is next for me. It may take 19:59, but I will be the TV Champion.”

Pettengill, “Let’s got to Craig Johnson with Wolf Hawkfield.”

Johnson, “With me is the American Television Champion Wolf Hawkfield. Wolf you meet Demolition Ax in a match with a 20 minute time limit. You two have wrestled many 10 minutes draws. We hope to see a winner tonight.”

Hawkfield, “Demolition Ax is an ‘Elder’ in wrestling. My people have great respect for the Elders of the tribe. I have that respect for Ax. He is rough and he will take shortcuts, but I respect him as a wrestler. This will not be an easy challenge, but I relish the opportunity to prove myself. The extra time should lead to a winner, may the best man win.”

Johnson, “This is will be a great one.”

Match #7
American Television Championship
Wolf Hawkfield (Champion) vs. Demolition Ax

The match is dead even. Both men have their chances and they both score nearfalls. Things begin to shift towards Hawkfield at the 15 minute mark. He hits the cyber spear and referee Jim Molineaux counts the fall. A well deserved win for the Champion. Molineaux hands the belt to Hawfield. Suddenly the lights go out. A strobe light comes on and the Spellbinder stands over Hawkfield, who is out cold. The lights go off again. This time when they come on the Spellbinder gone and Hawkfield is still out. The program goes to commercial.

The program returns and Hawkfield is loaded on a stretcher. Craig Johnson is with Commissioner Harley Race.

Johnson, “Commissioner Race what happened? Where is the Spellbinder?”

Race, “That guy is a menace. He’s got a lot of tricks, but he’s also powerful. I hope Hawkfield is O.K. and when he recovers I know he’ll want revenge.”

Johnson, “You can count on that. Now let’s talk about next Tuesday. ‘ACW Live!’ will be on the air and there a lot of rumors as to what matches we will see.”

Race, “This is ACW, so you know you are going to see two great hour s of wrestling. We will be back in Columbus, OH, at Battelle Hall, the place ACW began and I can guarantee you the action will be fantastic. First of all, the American Tag Team Titles will be on the line. The Champions, the Wild Bunch, will be in the ring. We never know which two it will be, but that may not matter, because next week they meet Men on a Mission. They may need all three.”

Johnson, “That will be fantastic. Most experts have said that Men on a Mission deserve a title shot and now they have one.”

Race, “That’s not all the action. The American Heavyweight Title will be on the line. Nick Busick, with, or without Brother Love will meet…2 Cold Scorpio.”



Johnson, “Wow! Scorpio gets his chance! There are many rumors swirling about Brother Love’s injury. If he is not at ringside, Scorpio’s chances improve. What a night of wrestling action.
