-Vic Venom opens the show with an in-ring interview with Bill Alfonso and Sabu.
Venom says he has always known that Sabu is a smart man, but he admits that he
underestimated him. Vic praises Alfonso as a genius and asks if he really
believes that Taz has been run out of the sport. Bill Alfonso says Taz is a
loser, he’s always been a loser – that’s why he dumped Taz as a client! He will
never come back to XPW! Venom then asks about Sabu facing Taz’s cousin Chris
Chetti next week. Alfonso laughs and says Chetti is nothing but a green rookie
– and Sabu will make sure that his career is very short!
Match
#1: ‘Simply Sensational’ Al Snow vs. Hakushi (w/ Sonny Onoo)
Hakushi found himself on the receiving end of a super kick last week, and looks for
revenge tonight. These two put on a hell of a show, with Hakushi getting a
close two count after a Flying Space Tiger Drop. Super Crazy makes his way out
to the ramp to watch the match in the late moments, and soon World Light Heavyweight
Champion Jerry Lynn joins him.
Hakushi doesn’t like this one bit, and joins with Sonny Onoo to order them away. Snow
attacks from behind and connects with a back-cracker on Hakushi. He then
springboards off the ropes with a moon-sault to score the win. Snow gloats
after the match, but leaves through the crowd so as to avoid Lynn and Super
Crazy.
Winner:
‘Simply Sensational’ Al Snow
-The Eliminators tell Scott Hudson that they are sick of Raven’s games. Saturn
says next week, he and Kronus will finally get their revenge for six months of
mind games from Raven’s Next.
Match
#2: The Sandman vs. The Masked Marauder
Sandmanmakes his first appearance in a few weeks and he takes the Masked Marauder
apart. Sandman throws Marauder out to the announce table and pile-drives him
right through it. He throws the masked man into the ring and pins him for an
easy three count.
Winner: The Sandman
-The camera pans into the audience after the match to show a man standing at the
end of one of the aisle ways:

#3: Nova (w/ The Blue Meanie) vs. Super Crazy
Super Crazy doesn’t even make it out to the ring, when Judge Jeff Jones comes out and
sentences Nova to death! Mike Awesome storms out and now Nova and Blue Meanie
run away screaming through the crowd before he even gets to the ring. Mike
Awesome stomps around the ring until – “WELL IT’S TIME! IT’S TIME!!! IT’S VADER
TIIIIIIIIIIME!”
Vader is back! Vader storms down to the ring and begins brawling Mike Awesome. These
two slug it out, until security, prelim wrestlers and officials finally are
able to separate them. Vader then gets on the microphone and charges Awesome
to face him next week!
Winner: No Contest
-Cactus Jack and Mikey Whipwreck tell Terry Gordy that they have his back
tonight, and they hope he wins against Douglas next week. Dory Funk Jr.
approaches and says he has some very big news involving the title that all
three men should pay attention to later tonight!
Match
#4: Shane Douglas, Sean Morely & Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Francine) vs. Terry
Gordy, Cactus Jack & Mikey Whipwreck
Thismatch goes through three commercial breaks as several near falls are scored.
The finish sees all six men fighting. Shane Douglas is working over Whipwreck,
until Gordy hits the ropes and boots him in the face. Shane wobbles around,
until Mikey boots him and connects with the Whipper Snapper! Mikey covers Shane
for the 1-2-3! Mikey, Cactus and Gordy celebrate in the ring as the Triple
Threat grumble on the floor.
Winner:
Terry Gordy, Cactus Jack & Mikey Whipwreck
-Dory Funk Jr. comes out and says he has determined the next #1 contender. After
beating Sid Vicious, Louie Spicolli and Ron Simmons over the last several
months and now pinning the Extreme Heavyweight Champion, he can announce that
Mikey Whipwreck will face the winner of Douglas/Gordy in Philadelphia on
October 2! Mikey looks stunned as now both Gordy and Douglas stare him down!

FICTION PROMOS:
The Public Enemy say that last week was a fluke and they are ready to go to hell
and back in the Ghetto Death Match against The Gangstas.
Vader says he is THE MAN and he will deliver his own death sentence to Mike Awesome
right here next week.
Chris Chetti says he is not a maniac who can fly around the ring like Sabu, but he
has something to prove. Nobody messes with his family!
A gleeful Cactus Jack tells a nervous Mikey Whipwreck that he is weeks away from
being the Heavyweight Champion of the World! Mikey’s eyes nearly bug out of his
skull!

HUGE win for Mikey, I was always a big fan of his, the dude could take the best ass-kicking in wrestling, and worked some great matches. Douglas has to get through Gordy and then gets Mikey, like he is a travelling champion taking on such a variety of opponents. Makes for fun tv though.
