Johnson, “Welcome to the ‘Igloo’! We have some fantastic action for tonight. We will preview ‘Red, White and Boom’, we will have the WWWA Champion in action, we have a fantastic main event, but before we talk about all that, Commissioner Race has an announcement to make.”

Race, “Thank you Craig. The partnership between ‘ACW’ and ESPN 2 has been a monumental success. Because of this success we are expanding. Starting next Saturday night ‘American Championship Wrestling’ will expand to two hours. This will give more opportunities to bring you more great ‘ACW’ action.”

Johnson, “That is exciting news. If you have enjoyed us so far, just wait until next week. Let’s go to the ring for our opening match.”

Vic Steamboat def. Lou Perez (7:51) w/flying bodypress

Boni Blackstone is with Tony Atlas and 2Cold Scorpio.

Boni, “Gentlemen you have both been very impressive since arriving in ACW. Tony your influence is very evident when you watch 2Cold in action.”

Atlas, “Thank you Miss Boni. It’s great to be back in action and I love working with a young man like Scorpio. He’s a faster learner and he’s headed to top, but don’t forget about me.”

Scorpio, “Tony has been a lot of help to me. He’s taught me a lot. I’m happy to be working with him.”

Boni, “Tony Atlas will be in action later tonight, but when we come back Aja Kong meets Bison Kimura.

Non-Title Match
Aja Kong (WWWA Champion) vs. Bison Kimura

This is a hard hitting, fast paced match. Things begin to turn towards Kong. Suddenly a woman dressed in a white Oriental robe, white mask and holding sword walks onto the ramp. Kong sees her and is distracted and Kimura rolls her up and referee Jack Doane counts the fall. The masked figure walks away.

Craig Johnson is with Tommy Watanabe.

Johnson, “What happened? Who was that?”

Watanabe, “We only got a brief glimpse of the masked woman. I believe I know who it may be, but I’m not sure.”

Johnson, “Who was it?”

Watanabe, “I’m not sure, so I won’t comment, but if it is who I think it is, it would be huge news. I will look into it.”

Johnson, “If anyone can get to the bottom of this, Tommy can. When we return, Tony Atlas will be in action.”

Craig Johnson and Harley Race are seated in front of a “Red, White, and Boom” banner.

Johnson, “Fans we are two days away from the ‘Red, White and Boom’. Cooper Stadium in Columbus, OH is the place. There are really two parts to this show. I’ll let Commissioner Race explain this.”

Race, “Thank you Craig. There are two parts to this show. First of all, the fans in Columbus will be treated to an hour of live wrestling at Cooper Stadium. Bell time is 7:00 PM. You will see such stars as Tony Atlas, the ‘Wild Bunch’, Bobby Blaze, Charlie Norris and many others. Then at 8:00 PM we go live on ESPN 2. The fans at home and the fans at the stadium will see two more hours of action.”

Johnson, “This will be one fantastic night of wrestling. We already know about the main event. Nick Busick, despite the protestations of Brother Love, will defend the American Heavyweight Title against David Sammartino, but that’s not all. The Green Berets will defend the American Tag Titles against Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce. The third ACW title will also be up for grabs. Wolf Hawkfield will defend against the ‘Redneck Rebel’ Doug Gilbert. Two newcomers will meet. 2Cold Scorpio will take on Demolition Ax. The action will be fantastic. Let’s go back to the ring and see the Colorado Kid in action.”

Joe Pedicino is with the Green Berets and David Sammartino.

Pedicino, “Gentlemen you have a great opportunity tonight with the six man match, and then all three of you are involved in big matches on Monday. David Sammartino you meet Nick Busick in an American Heavyweight Title match, and the Green Berets defend the American Tag Team Titles against the team of Tex Slazanger and shanghai Pierce.”

Sammartino, “Joe I came so close to beating Busick. He beat me, but it wasn’t completely honest. I knew if I could get a rematch, I could win the title. Now I have my chance. I have no excuses, I get my chance in Columbus.”

Pedicino, “Cpl Kirschner, Rambo, you know that Brother Love will have Slazanger and Pierce ready.”

Kirschner, “Brother Love is a cheater. Rambo and I know that. We overcame that to win the titles, and we’ll be ready for that on Monday. Rambo is a great partner, and we won’t take Slazanger and Pierce for granted. We know the fans will be behind us and we’ll fight for them.”

Rambo, “We both fought bravely for America, and now we fight for American wrestling fans and we do both with pride. It means a lot to us to be cheered by the fans, the Cpl is right, we won’t let them down.”

Pedicino, “All three of these gentlemen are ready. They meet Brother Love’s men in the main event tonight and then in the big matches on Monday.”

Billy Black w/Joel Deaton and Bobby Duncum Jr. vs. Chaz Taylor
Black grabs the ring mike from Boni Blackstone.
Black, “We made a fool out of Blaze and Norris last week. We’ve had Joel on ice waiting for the right moment, and then we let him go! Blaze, Norris you’re both too stupid to keep up with us. Now I’m going to finish off this punk!”

Black uses his high risk tactics to take care of Odyssey.

Boni Blackstone is with Brother Love and his entourage.

Boni, “Brother Love your men are very busy. They have the big six man in just a few minutes and then at Red, White and Boom they have title matches.”

Love, “Sister Boni, my men are busy and they will be successful! We will continue to spread looooove all over the wrestling world! Brother Bully will defeat that meatball, Sammartino, once and for all and Brother Tex and Brother Shanghai will right a horrible wrong by taking the American Tag Titles from those two tin soldiers. It will be a glorious night for Brother Love, looooove will be in the air!”

Boni, “Brother Love never lacks confidence, even if he does lack sincerity.”

Love, “Sister Boni release your anger follow us and we will looooove you, in a Platonic way.”

Boni, “No thank you Brother Love. When we return the main event will be in the ring.”

Six Man Tag Team Match
“The Bully” Nick Busick, Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce w/Brother Love vs. David Sammartino and the Green Berets

This match is complete pandemonium. Both teams tag in and out and end up with four, five, or six men in the ring. All six men are in the ring when David Sammartino rolls up Nick Busick. Referee Mac MacMurray counts the fall. David Sammartino has pinned the Champion!

Steamboat’s high flying style is too much for the Gambler. Vic wins with the flying bodypress.

Second Match, one fall, 30 minutes
Men on a Mission w/Oscar vs. Bull Pain and Killer Kyle

Men on a Mission come down the aisle with Oscar rapping. The crowd takes to them immediately. They use their size to dominate the match. Mable finishes off Kyle with a big splash. Oscar raps again after the match.

Third Match, one fall, 30 minutes
Tony Atlas w/2Cold Scorpio vs. Lou Perez

The popular Atlas and Scorpio come to the ring among the cheers of the Columbus crowd. Atlas has been around for a while, but he still is one of the strongest men in the sport. Perez uses his cunning to hold his own early. Atlas rallies and as the crowd cheers him on locks Perez in the full Nelson. Perez submits.
Winner-Tony Atlas (9:40)

Fourth Match, one fall, 45 minutes
Six Man Tag Team Match
The Wild Bunch vs. Bobby Blaze, Charlie Norris and Billy Joe Travis

Billy Black, Bobby Duncum Jr. and Joel Deaton wait in the ring. The three fan favorites come to the ring. Bobby Blaze takes the mike, “You guys brought in Deaton, so to even the odds, I made a call to Nashville and Billy Joe Travis jumped at the chance.” Blaze hands the mike to Travis. Travis, “There’s nothing that this old Tennessee boy likes more than a good fight, so let’s get it on!” Travis throws down the mike and the brawl is on. Referee Jimmy Jett finally gets things under control and it’s Travis vs. Deaton. Billy Joe takes over and the Columbus crowd is behind him. The match continues to be a brawl. Finally all six men end up in the ring and Jett has no choice but to disqualify both teams. This rivalry will continue.
Result-Double Disqualification (14:54)



“Red, White and Boom” opens with a fireworks display. Craig Johnson and Harley Race are seated at ringside.



Johnson, “Welcome to ‘Red, White and Boom’! Those here in Columbus have already seen some great action. Viewers on ESPN 2 are about to join the party. Let’s go to Boni Blackstone who is with Doug Gilbert.”

Boni, “with me is the ‘Redneck Rebel’ Doug Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert you get another chance at the TV Title. Wolf Hawkfield has gotten the better of you up to this point.”

Gilbert, “Shut up! Go home and cook some man some gravy and biscuits! Leave wrestling to men. That stupid redskin keeps lucking out! He can’t wrestle, he knows I’m better and he’s been running. That’s what those savages do best, well not anymore! Tonight I got him cornered and I’m gonna’ scalp him!”

Boni, “Doug Gilbert, pleasant as always. Let’s go to the ring for the Television Title match.”

American Television Championship
Wolf Hawkfield (Champion) vs. ”The Redneck Rebel” Doug Gilbert

Gilbert jumps Hawkfield before the bell. He pounds away with lefts and rights. He slams Wolf’s head into the turnbuckle and the TV Champion is in trouble. Hawkfield rolls out of the ring to regroup. He comes back in, and with the help of the fans, begins to rally. He takes the fight to Gilbert and the man from Memphis retreats. The end comes when Hawkfield hits the cyber spear and covers Gilbert for the fall. A satisfying win for the Champion.
Winner-Wolf Hawkfield (8:02)

Joe Pedicino is with Tony Atlas and 2Cold Scorpio.

Pedicino, “Tony, first of all, congratulations on your win earlier tonight.”

Atlas, “Thank you Joe. The competition is good here in ACW. It’s always good to get a win.”

Pedicino, “Now Tony and 2Cold, Demolition Ax is a tough veteran. This will be your biggest match to date in ACW.”

Scorpio, “Just like tony said, the competition in ACW is the best. Ax has been around for a long time, and he’s as tough as they get. I’m ready, he’s the first one, but there others after that!”

Atlas, “2Cold is confident, but we both know how tough Ax is. We ain’t taking it for granted, but this man is ready.”

Match #2
Demolition Ax vs. 2Cold Scorpio w/Tony Atlas

The veteran Ax controls the pace of the match. He slows things down and pounds away at Scorpio. The youngster from Florida rallies and the match is on. Both men end up brawling on the stadium turf. Referee Mac MacMurray’s count reaches 20 and he calls for the bell. The match is a double count out.

Boni Blackstone is with the Green Berets.

Boni, “With me are the Green Berets. Gentlemen you meet Slazanger and Pierce in a few minutes. They have come very close to taking the tag titles from you.”

Rambo, “Those two are tough and Love is always ready to stick his nose into things, but the Cpl and I have defeated all opposition since we won the titles and we will keep doing just that.”

Kirschner, “Bring ‘em on! Rambo and I defended America and now we defend the American Tag Team Titles. We do them both we pride! Brother Love if you stick your nose into things, we’ll take care of you as well!”

Boni, “This will be an exciting tag team match. When we come back the match will be in the ring. As we go to commercial let’s see some action from earlier tonight.”

We see highlights from earlier in the night, Men on a Mission, Tony Atlas, Vic Steamboat, the six man match etc.

Match #3
American Tag Team Championship
The Green Berets (Champion) vs. Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce w/Brother Love

This will be a brawl. The Green Berets defeated Slazanger and Pierce in the finals of the tag team tournament. The Texans have come close to taking the titles, but the veterans have escaped each time. Slazanger and Pierce, at the behest of Brother Love, jump the Champions before the bell. Things look bad for the Champions. Brother Love struts around ringside. He thinks things are in the bag. Slowly the Champions work their way back into the match. Their “Never Say Die” attitude brings them back. Kirschner whips Slazanger into the ropes and clamps on the cobra clutch. Rambo cuts off Pierce and Slazanger is out.
Winner-The Green Berets (13:20)

We go to prerecorded comments from Brother Love and Nick Busick.

Love, “Brother Bully tell Brother Sammartino what you are going to do to him.”

Busick, “Sammartino your dad was a bum, and you’re an even bigger disgrace! I am going to beat you so badly you’ll never show your face in ACW again!”

Boni Blackstone is with David Sammartino.

Boni, “David you heard Brother Love and Nick Busick. They said some pretty strong things.”

Sammartino, “Love and Busick have big mouths. They want to bad mouth my dad and get me off my game. That won’t happen. I’m focused and prepared. I want the American Title and this is my big chance!”

Boni, “David Sammartino is ready. When we come back, our main event.”

Match #6
American Heavyweight Championship
“The Bully ”Nick Busick (Champion) w/Brother Love vs. David Sammartino

The fans are firmly behind Sammartino. The bell rings and he takes the fight to Busick. Brother Love is apoplectic at ringside. He shouts instructions and encouragement. David clamps on the bearhug and it may be over! Busick get s to the ropes and the hold is broken. Love is even more worried and begins to try to distract Sammartino. It works and the tide begins to turn. Busick takes over and land the heart punch for the win. Busick and Love celebrate in the ring as the crowd boos.
Winner-Nick Busick (13:21)



Johnson and Race close the show.

Johnson, “Fans what an exciting night of wrestling. Remember, next Saturday, ‘American Championship Wrestling’ expands to two hours and now Commissioner Race has another big announcement. “

Race, “This is a big announcement. We have been in negotiations with ESPN 2 and we can now announce that another live event has been scheduled. On August 15, we will be at the Civic Center in beautiful Wheeling, WV. Stay tuned for more information.”

Johnson, “Commissioner Race that is big news. ACW is taking the wrestling world by storm. Let’s close the night with a celebration of the greatest country in the world…Happy Birthday America!”

Craig Johnson and Harley Race open the show.

Johnson, “Welcome to Battelle Hall at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and the first two hour edition of ‘American Championship Wrestling’! What a show we have for you tonight. We have a fantastic main event scheduled. It is a rematch from ‘Red, White and Boom’. The American Tag Titles will be on the line. The Green Berets will meet Tex Slazanger and Shanghai in a ‘Texas Tornado Match’. That means all four men will be in the ring at the same time. We will talk about Aja Kong and the woman in the mask that appeared last week and in our first match, we will see a newcomer debut…the Spellbinder. Let’s go to the ring.”

Referee Jimmy Jett and Shane Helms are in the ring, suddenly the lights go out. A flash of light and smoke appears in the ring. When the lights come back on the Spellbinder is in the ring. He attacks Helms and Jett call for the bell.

Johnson is with Tommy Watanabe.

Johnson, “Wow! Two impressive matches. The Spellbinder is just plain spooky and Men on a Mission, what do you say about a team with that much size! With me is Tommy Watanabe. Tommy let’s see what happened last week.”

We see the match, from last week, between Aja Kong and Bison Kimura. We see a masked woman appear and distract Kong. Kimura rolls her up and gets the win.



Johnson, “Tommy what can you tell us? Who was the masked woman?”

Watanabe, “Craig I hate to be indecisive, but I’m not sure. I talked to several people who saw the tape. We all think we know who it was, but we can’t be sure. If it is who I think it is, it is a huge story in womens wrestling.”

Johnson, “If anyone can get to the bottom of this, Tommy is the man to do it. We may only have to wait until next week. We can announce that Aja Kong will be back in action next week. She will defend the WWWA Title against one half of LCO Mima Shimoda. What a match that will be. Now let’s go to Joe Pedicino, who is with Bobby Blaze, Charlie Norris and Billy Joe Travis.”

Pedicino, “Gentlemen you surprised the Wild Bunch with Billy Joe Travis.”

Blaze, “There were three of them and now there’s three of us! It’s all even!”

Travis, “Bobby and Charlie gave me a call, I was glad to help. Now Wild Bunch sign a contract, any contract and we’ll get it on!”

Pedicino, “This situation is heating up. Let’s see Billy Joe in action.”

Billy Joe Travis def. Ray Lloyd (7:12) w/dropkick
After the match the Wild Bunch hit the ring. Black, Duncum Jr .and Deaton pound away at Travis. Bobby Blaze and Charlie Norris join the fray and it’s a “pier six brawl”. Wrestlers from the back run in and pull the men apart. Commissioner Harley Race walks to ringside. He takes the house mike.

Race, “You guys want a fight, let’s have a fight! Next week it will be all of you in a six man elimination match!”

The Crowd explodes.

The Tahitian Savage def. Chaz Taylor

Boni Blackstone is with the Green Berets.

Boni, “Gentlemen you defeated Brother Love’s men at ‘Red, White and Boom’, and now tonight, you meet them in a ‘Texas Tornado Match’. Those are very dangerous.”

Rambo, “We know that. We are no strangers to difficult situations. Cpl Kirchner and I faced many challenges when we defended out country and we will not back down now.”

Kirchner, “Slazanager and Pierce have given us a lot of trouble. Rambo and I respect them, but this is a mission we must complete. All four of us will be in the ring at the same time. That makes it very dangerous. You can get hit from both sides, but we are ready!”

Boni, “Don’t miss our main event. Now let’s do to the ring and see ‘Desperado’ Joe Gomez in action.”

“The Redneck Rebel” Doug Gilbert vs. The Navajo Warrior

Gilbert grabs the mike from Boni Blackstone.

Gilbert, “Another drunken Redskin! You’ve got to be kidding! I beat up Hawkfield so bad he ain’t here tonight and now I get this bum. This is going to be easy!”

Gilbert tosses the mike aside and attacks the Navajo Warrior. He dominates the match and wins with a piledriver.

Pedicino, “With me is Brother Love and his crew. Brother Love your men have two big matches tonight. First of all, the American Heavyweight Champion, Nick Busick meets a fine young wrestler Ray Odyssey and then Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce take on the tag team champions in a ‘Texas Tornado Match’.”

Love, “Brother Joe it is going to be a glorious night for Brother Love. My men are about to spread our message of Love throughout wrestling and it’s going to start right here in Columbus. Brother Bully will destroy this surfer and he decadent lifestyle and then Brother Tex and Brother Shanghai will add more titles to our collection.”

The Green Berets (Champions) vs. Tex Slanzanger and Shanghai Pierce

All four men are in the ring at the same time. The unluckiest man in the arena is referee Jimmy Jett. The bell ring and mayhem ensues. The Champions take over early and the two big Texans roll out of the ring and confer with Brother Love. They return and the match goes into overdrive. During the chaos Rambo catches Pierce in the backbreaker. Kirchner ties up Slazanger and Pierce submits. The Champions retain the titles.
Winners-The Green Berets (10:53)

Craig Johnson and Harley Race close the show.

Johnson, “What a great show! Commissioner Race I know you have another announcement about next week’s show.”

Race, “Yes I do Craig. First of all the two hours of action is better than 90 minutes. I think we can all agree with that. Now earlier in the show I made one match for next week. The Wild Bunch will meet Blaze, Norris and Travis in an elimination six man tag team match. During the show, Wolf Hawkfield, who was not here tonight, called in to answer Doug Gilbert’s words. Next week Hawkfield will defend the TV Title against Gilbert right here on ‘American Championship Wrestling”.

Johnson, “That is big news. What a show next week will be! Until then, good night!”

Boni, “First of all, Wolf, that Mikey Whipwreck doesn’t quit. He gave Ax all he wanted. We need to keep an eye on this rookie.”

Hawkfield, “I was proud of him. Demolition Ax is a veteran and a tough competitor. Whipwreck should be proud of his effort.”

Boni, “Now Wolf, you meet Lou Perez. You have wrestled him before and you have kept the TV Title, but it hasn’t been easy.”

Hawkfield, “I entered the world of pro wrestling to find competition. I have found it here in ACW. It is like my days in the wilds of Canada. I live by my strength and wits. I crave competition and someone like Perez gives it to me. He is not honest and he is not a gentleman, but he can wrestle and I know I have to be ready.”

Boni, “You don’t want to miss our next two matches. First of all the TV Title is on the line and then Aja Kong defends the ‘Red Belt’. Go to the refrigerator now, you don’t want to miss the next two matches.”

Demolition Ax comes to ringside. He takes the house mike.

Ax, “Hawkfield you’re pretty good. I have to admit that. You might be good, but I’m great. I came to ACW for one last run and I want a title. I want ‘your’ title. Give me a shot!”

Hawkfield takes the ring mike from Boni Blackstone.

Hawkfield, “Ax I back down from no challenge. I will meet you and I will put the title on the line.”

WWWA Championship
Aja Kong (Champion) def. Mima Shimoda (7:54) w/uraken
Kong hits Shimoda with a second uraken. Shimoda goes down in a heap. Suddenly the masked woman enters the ring. She draws her sword. Kong hightails it out of the ring. The masked woman helps Simoda to her feat and then helps her to the back. She does not reveal her identity.





Johnson. “What happened? Tommy Watanabe has gone backstage to try and get more information. We hope he will be back soon. Let’s go to Joe Pedicino and the ‘Wild Bunch’.”

Pedicino, “Gentlemen you have a big match later in the program, a six man elimination match. It could be two on one, three on one.”

Duncum, “Shut up Pedicino! Those three fools think they have us scared. Do you think three ‘outlaws’, like us, are afraid of those morons? Well you’re pretty stupid, so you might, but anyone with brains would laugh in your face!”

Deaton, “Look at us Pedicino. Three tough guys, not doughboys like you. Billy, Bobby and I beat up fools like those three for fun and we’re going to have a lot of fun tonight!”

Black, “I’m tired of talking about this. We are going to beat them like a drum, it won’t be pretty, but maybe they’ll get the message and leave us alone so we can move on to better things.”

Pedicino, “As usual the ‘Wild Bunch’ do not lack for confidence.”

Norris, “They talk big all the time. They’re good. You can’t take that away from them. They cheat, but they can also wrestle. We have gone back and forth with them, and now it’s an elimination match. Things will be very interesting.”

Watanabe, “I saw the end of the six man, what a match. I’ve been backstage for a long time. There is chaos back there. Let me tell you what I know. Mima Shimoda was taken to the hospital. She appears to have a concussion. The masked woman went into a dressing room with Shimoda an Etsuko Mita and did not reveal her identity. ACW Commissioner Harley Race was in the back along with several interrupters. Discussions and negotiations went on for some time and then Mr. Race gave me this report and told me to announce it on TV. Etsuko Mita, Shimoda’s partner with ‘LCO’, is livid. She wants a match with Aja Kong. The masked woman also wants revenge. Kong, through the interrupters, agreed to meet both of them, next week, on TV. However she indicated since we do not know who one other wrestler is, she should be allowed a mystery partner as well. Mita and the masked woman quickly agreed. So we have that tag team match signed for next week.”

Johnson, “Wow! That’s a blockbuster! I was going to make an announcement about next week’s show and this just makes it bigger. For the next two week ACW is going on tour in New York State. Next week we will be at the famous ‘Aud’ in Buffalo, the home of the Buffalo Sabers. The following week we will move on to the War Memorial Auditorium in Rochester. We have two matches signed for next week. Wolf Hawkfield has answered Demolition Ax’s challenge and those two will meet for the American Television Title, also Brother Love’s team of Tex Slazangar and Shanghai Pierce will be in action against two men from the Beach, ‘Surfer’ Ray Odyssey and a newcomer called ‘The Sandman’. Add in the womans tag team match and we have one fantastic show. Don’t miss it!”

Johnson, “Welcome to the ‘Aud’ in Buffalo! It’s usually Commissioner Race who opens the show with me, but tonight, he is in the back taking care of business. With me is Tommy Watanabe. We have a fantastic show tonight. The TV Champion, Wolf Hawkfield, takes on Demolition Ax. Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce meet a new team ‘Surfer’ Ray Odyssey and the Sandman, and we have the womans tag team match. Tommy will help me call this match and it’s headed to the ring right now.”

Aja Kong and a “Mystery Partner” vs. Etsuko Mita and the “Masked Woman”

Kong comes down the aisle with Bull Nakano.



Watanabe, “That’s Bull Nakano, one of the biggest and toughest woman wrestlers in Japan. This is a very dangerous combination.

Kong and Nakano wait in the ring. Etsuko Mita and the “Masked Woman” make their way to the ring. The woman removes her mask to reveal…Akira Hokuto!



Watanabe, “That’s what I thought, Akira Hokuto ‘The Dangerous Queen”! She is the biggest name in Japanese Womans Wrestling! She was also instrumental in training both members of LCO; this will be a wild match!”

The match is a complete brawl. All four wrestlers end up in the ring and referee Jack Doane has no choice but to disqualify both teams.

This Steamboat is a Pagan form Hawaii, how can he hope to match the strength of the ‘Bully’? He can’t. The Champion will be victorious and we will continue to spread looooove throughout the wrestling world.”

Pedicino, “O.K. That takes care of that match. Later tonight your tag team of Slazanger and Pierce meet two ‘surfers’ Ray Odyssey and the Sandman.”

Love, “Two more men who live a decadent lifestyle. Brother Tex and Brother Shanghai are two hardworking Texas, two men from God’s country and these adolescents from the beach will not beat them.”

Boni, “With me are Ray Odyssey and the Sandman. Ray it looks you found a partner, but he doesn’t look too happy.”

Odyssey, “He’s just intense. I’ve been looking for a partner and I found one just like me. We love to surf and we love to wrestle. Brother Love you get your tag team ready and we will kick their tails, count on it!”

Odyssey claps Sandman on the shoulder. The Sandman knocks his hand away.

Odyssey, “See how ready my partner is? You guys are in for a fight!”

Boni, “It’s going to be a great match. Let’s go to the ring and see the Spellbinder in action

Referee Mac MacMurray and Lou Perez wait in the ring. The lights go out. Flashes of fire come from each of the four turnbuckles. The lights come up and the Spellbinder is in the ring. He attacks Perez.

Hawkfield, “This young man is a ‘warrior’. He is a man who gives his all. Now aobut Ax. I rise to all challenges. My people have lived with the earth for many years. We meet the challenges of nature, the wild animals, and the elements, anything that arises. Demolition Ax is a warrior with much experience; I am one who is learning. The challenge will be large, but I am ready.”

Boni, “Wolf Hawkfield is ready for this challenge. Let’s go to Joe Pedicino with Demolition Ax.”

Pedicino, “Ax you heard Wolf Hawkfield. He respects you, but he does not fear you.”

Ax, “Good. I came here to get one more title in my career. This kid is good, but he’s not Demolition Ax. When I beat him, it will mean something and that is what I am going to do.”

Odyssey is down in the ring. The Sandman rolls to the floor. He reaches under the ring and pulls out a Singapore cane. He climbs into the ring and attacks Odyssey. He smashes Ray several times with the cane, then rolls out of the ring and walks to the back.



Craig Johnson is with Commissioner Harley Race.

Johnson, “Commissioner Race is back with me. Mr. Race what was that?”

Race, “I’m not sure. This Sandman does not seem to like to lose. I know Ray Odyssey will not take this lying down.”

Johnson, “Mr. Race I know you have some news about next week’s show. We will be at the War Memorial Auditorium in Rochester, NY.”

Race, “We have two matches signed. First of all, Bull Nakano will take on Etsuko Mita. Now that we know Akria Hokuto is aligned with LCO the womens division just gets better. An American Heavyweight Title match has been signed. Nick Busick will be in action against Bobby Blaze. That should be a good one.”

Johnson, “Remember ACW is the most exciting two hours on TV. Join us next week.”

Johnson, “Welcome to Rochester! What a night of wrestling we have for you tonight. The American Heavyweight Champion, Nick Busick, meets exciting young Bobby Blaze. We will talk to the Sandman. This newcomer shook things up with his reaction to a tag team loss. The fallout from last week’s womans match will play out tonight. We will see ‘The Dangerous Queen’ Akira Hokuto in action, and in our feature match, Etsuko Mita will meet Bull Nakano. Commissioner Race, I know you would like to speak to the fans.”

Race,”Yes I do. I hate to tease the fans, but later in the program I will have a big announcement concerning programming here on ESPN 2.”

Johnson, “Commissioner Race I wouldn’t want to play poker with you. You are keeping this under your hat. We have one more big announcement. We have a talented newcomer debuting tonight. Please welcome, from Yonkers, NY, Tommy Dreamer.”

Tommy Dreamer comes out and shakes hands with Race and Johnson.



Johnson, “With me is Tommy Dreamer, one of the toughest wrestlers in the business.”

Dreamer, “I’m going to correct you Craig. I’m not a wrestler. I’ve never claimed to be. I’m a fighter.”

Johnson, “Excuse me, fighter. They call you the ‘Innovator of Violence’. Why?”

Dreamer, “Why not? I never claimed to have the most talent in the business, but I have the biggest heart. There is a lot of talent here in ACW and I want a piece of every one of them.”

Johnson, “When we return the ‘Innovator of Violence’ will be in action.”

Love, “Brother Scorpio is very flamboyant. He does not hide his light under a bushel. That makes him popular with the masses, but Brother Bully is a humble, hard working man, who does his job every day.”

Sandman pulls a bottle of Genesee beer from his pocket.



Sandman, “I tried this beer last night and it’s the worst I’ve ever tasted.”

He opens it and begins to drink it.

Boni, “Why are you drinking it then?’

Sandman, “Its beer you moron, can’t you see that!”

Sandman tosses the empty bottle on the ground and it breaks. He leaves the interview area.

Boni, “Interesting interview. The Sandman is in action next.”

Atlas, “Thank you Miss Boni. 2 Cold is coming along. He’s good at listening and he’s learned a lot. I think he’s ready for better competition and I know he can beat Busick.”

Boni, “2 Cold how about it?”

Scorpio, “I’m ready, I know I’m ready. I’ll sign a contract and I’ll wrestle Busick. I want that title!”

Boni, “This would be a match the people want to see. I hope it comes to be. Now ladies and gentlemen we saw Akira Hokuto debut last week. She will be in singles action next. Let’s see a video.”

Nakano dominates the early moments of the match. Mita uses her quickness advantage to get back into the match. She catches Nakano in a rollup and gets the pin.
Winner-Etsuko Mita (7:08)

Referee Jack Doane raises Mita’s hand. Suddenly Aja Kong and Dynamite Kansai hit the ring. They attack MIta. Mima Shimoda and Akira Hokuto run in to even the odds. Nakano, Kansai and Kong leave the ring. Hokuto takes the mike from Boni Blackstone. She motions Tommy Watanabe into the ring. She says something to him and hands him the mike.

Watanabe, “Akira Hokuto wants me to translate so everyone understands.”

Hokuto takes the mike.

Hokuta (Watanabe translates), “Now that Kansai is with you there are three of you and three of us. Let’s go three on three! Kong after that, I want the Red Belt!”

Kong shakes her head and the crowd goes crazy.

Craig Johnson and Commissioner Harley Race close the show.

Johnson, “Mr. Race what action! ACW gets better and better each week. I know you have a big announcement concerning ACW television.”

Race, “Those ladies are ready for action. I’d want no part of Hokuto. I do have a big announcement. Back in July we had a very successful live show on July 4. ESPN 2 was so pleased that they offered us another live broadcast. This will take place on, Tuesday night, August 15. We will air a program called ‘ACW Live!’ The show will be broadcast from the Civic Center in Wheeling, WV. We can announce one match that is already signed. The American Tag Team Championship will be on the line. The Green Berets will defend the titles against the Wild Bunch. More matches will be added in the coming days.”



Johnson, “That is exciting news. I can add a little bit to that. Next week we will be back at Battelle Hall in Columbus, OH. We have a great feature match signed. 2 Cold Scorpio will team with his mentor Tony Atlas to take on Brother Love’s team of Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce. I can also tell you that the main event for ‘ACW Live!’ will be announced. We have loved our time in New York, thank you and good night!”
