Mercer, “Welcome to ‘International Championship Wrestling’! We are two weeks away from the ‘Parade of Champions’. The Eyes of the wrestling world are on Texas Stadium. We will talk about the big show, and we will also talk about the ‘Texas Shootout’. Tonight, we will announce the main event for that show. We have a great main event, Kevin Sullivan leads the Purple Haze to the ring to face Mike Rotundo. Let’s get things started.”

King Kong Bundy w/General Skandor Akbar vs. AJ Petruzzi
Petruzzi is big, but Bundy is bigger. AJ puts up a good fight, but the massive Bundy is too much. He works over Petruzzi, and hits the avalanche. Bundy demands a five count.

Sgt Slaughter w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Mike Reed
Slaughter will meet Hacksaw Duggan in a very emotional match at Texas Stadium. He jumps Reed at the bell. The youngster doesn’t know what hit him. Slaughter punishes Reed, and finishes him with the cobra clutch.

Riki Choshu (International Champion) vs. Johnny Mantel
The Champion takes on the cowboy from Wise County, TX. Mantell matches Choshu move for move. The crowd is behind Mantel. The Champion takes over and wins with a lariat. He looks ready for Tsuruta.

Pirata Morgan vs. Leo Burke
The mysterious Morgan will challenge Tiger Mask for the World Jr. Heavyweight Title at the Parade of Champions. Tonight, he meets the tough Canadian Leo Burke. The match goes back and forth. Burke matches Morgan move for move. Morgan takes over and wins with a suicide dive.

Kevin Sullivan, The Purple Haze, and Maya Singh meet Las Infernales, El Satánico, MS 1, and Espectro Jr
Billy Jack Haynes debuts, as well as the ‘Universal Heartthrob’ Austin Idol.
The Road Warriors meet the Super Strong Machines.
Tiger Mask defends the World Jr. Heavyweight Title against Pirata Morgan.
Tom Zenk meets Ken Patera
Kevin Von Erich returns to action, and faces Genichiro Tenryu
Sgt Slaughter takes on Hacksaw Jim Duggan
The International Champion Riki Choshu defends against Jumbo Tsuruta
For the World Tag Team Titles, the Midnight Express defend against the Midnight Rockers.
And for the World Championship, Tatsumi Fujinami defends against this man.”
We see Kerry Von Erich standing in an interview area.
Kerry, “Fujinami, you’re the best in the world, That’s why you’re the Champion. You’re coming to Texas to wrestle a Texan. I respect you, but I’m coming to Texas Stadium to take your title. I’ve doubled up on my training, and I’m ready, the fans are ready. I’m walking out of the Stadium with the title!”
Lowrance, “Kerry Von Erich is ready for Fujinami. That’s May 19, now let’s talk about the night before. On Saturday night, May 18, we will present the ‘Texas Shootout’. WWI will present 60 minutes of wrestling action broadcast from the world famous Sportatorium in Dallas, TX. The program will be broadcast on WOR, KTVT, Prism, NESN, and others. Check your local listings. The World Champion, Tatsumi Fujinami, will be in action, as will Kerry Von Erich. The main event, that night, will be a wild six Man Tag Team Match, the World Tag Team Champion, the Midnight Express, Team up with Hercules. Their opponents will be, the Midnight Rockers, and their partner, Hacksaw Jim Duggan. If you can’t get to Texas Stadium, tune into the ‘Texas Shootout’.”

The Midnight Express (World Tag Team Champions) w/James E. Cornette and Big Bubba Rogers vs. Joe Lightfoot and Chief Jules Strongbow
Cornette takes the ring mic from Marc Lowrance.
Cornette, “Let me do this Lowrance. Listen to me you two Indians, you better break out the firewater after the beating you’re fixing to take from my men! The World Tag Team Champions, Loverboy Dennis, and Beautiful Bobby, the Midnight Express!”
The Champions go to work. Strongbow and Lightfoot are very good, and they hold their own. The Express Tag in and out. Their abilities take over. They are so sharp. The double goozle ends the match. The Champions are ready for the Midnight Rockers.

Marc Lowrance is with Kevin Sullivan and the Purple Haze.
Lowrance, “With are, the ‘Master of Darkness’, Kevin Sullivan, and the Purple Haze. Mr. Sullivan, you have arrived, and captured the attention of everyone in WWI. Tonight, the Haze meets Mike Rotundo.”
Sullivan, “Mike Rotundo, you are a college athlete, the picture of goodness, and purity! The Haze and Myself, represent what is dark about the world! Darkness rules the wrestling world, and I bring the darkness! When the Chairman of the Board sent the Haze across the ocean to me, he told me to unleash his power! Rotundo, you will experience that power, darkness will envelope you!”
Lowrance, “Mike Rotundo vs. the Purple Haze, Tonight!”

Kerry Von Erich vs. Randy Barber
“The Modern Day Warrior” takes on the big man from Pennsylvania. Kerry starts fast. He matches Barber’s strength, and he controls the action. Barber tries several underhanded moves, but Kerry is ready for them. He clamps on the Von Erich claw, and it’s over.

The Purple Haze w/Kevin Sullivan vs. Mike Rotundo
The Haze paces back and forth. It’s not clear if Sullivan really can control him. The bell rings, and we are underway. Rotundo goes to work, and the Haze is surprised. Rotundo uses his mat skills to control the action. Sullivan is worried, and shouts instructions to the Haze. He goes to his rough house tactics, and gains control. Rotundo rallies. He gets the huge Haze up for the airplane spin. Maya Singh hits the ring followed by Sullivan. They triple team Rotundo. Mike is in trouble, and wrestlers from the back hit the ring. Sullivan, and his men, leave the ring. Rotundo is helped to his feet, he is the winner, but he took a terrible beating.
Winner-Mike Rotundo (Disqualification)
