Mercer, “Welcome to ‘International Championship Wrestling’. We are one month away from the ‘Parade of Champions’. Today, we will have more information about the big show. We will see the wrestling debut of the Purple Haze, and we also have a huge main event, the Hacksaw man, takes on Sgt Slaughter. Let’s go to Ralph Pulley, and get things underway.”

Genichiro Tenryu vs. Jeff Craney
Tenryu is an impressive wrestler. He goes right after Craney. Jeff is in trouble. He Tries to fight back, but Tenryu is unstoppable. He hits a lariat for the win.

Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Terry Gibbs
Tsuruta will face Choshu, at Texas Stadium, with the International Title at stake. Gibbs is a very skilled wrestler, and he holds his own. Tsuruta uses his size to gain the edge. He uses a power bomb for the win.

Ken Patera w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Frank Marconi
The former Olympian has been very Impressive. He is powerful, and displays it. He tosses Marconi around like a rag doll. He whips Marconi into the ropes, and backdrops him. Patera uses the neckbreaker for the win.

The Purple Haze w/Kevin Sullivan, and Maya Singh vs. S.D. Jones
Kevin Sullivan sends the Purple Haze into action. He attacks Jones. Sullivan shouts instructions from ringside, and the Haze follows them. He uses no wrestling holds, he simply brawls. SD is game, but the Haze is too much. He clamps on the sleeper hold and Jones is out.
Winner-The Purple Haze

Lowrance, “May 19 is quickly approaching. We will be at Texas Stadium, and bell time is 4:00 PM. “The David Von Erich Parade of Champions” will bring the best in wrestling to Arlington, TX. Here’s what we know so far.
The Midnight Rockers Challenge the The Midnight Express for the World Tag Team Championship.
Riki Choshu defends the International Title against Jumbo Tsuruta
We will see the debut of two new stars, Billy Jack Haynes, of Portland, OR, will be there, as well as one of the top men in wrestling, Austin Idol
We also know, ‘The Modern Day Warrior’ Kerry Von Erich will challenge Tatsumi Fujinami for the WWI World Championship.
We also know that Kevin Von Erich is returning to action at Texas Stadium.
Today, we can add another match. Kevin Sullivan, Maya Singh, and the Purple Haze will be in Six Man Tag Team action. The will face the Mexican Team know as, Los Infernals. This team features, El Satanico, MS-1, and Espectrito Jr. this team has a reputation similar to Mr. Sullivan’s Group. It will be a wild encounter.

“The Modern Day Warrior” is riding high. He seems to get better each, and every, week. Petruzzi is a big man from Pennsylvania. He jumps Kerry before the bell. He pounds away. Kerry takes it, and fights back. He Throws rights, and lefts, and the crowd is on their feet. He continues to dish out punishment. Kerry lands the discus punch for the win.

Marc Lowrance is with Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Duggan carries an American flag.
Lowrance, “With me is Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Hacksaw, you face Sgt Slaughter today, but first, what is the significance of the flag?”
Duggan, “Marc, I’m a proud American, and Sgt Slaughter, you used to be! You served your country, and every American Thanks you for that, but now you’re hooked up with Akbar! I guess it’s all about money for you now. Well, I’m carrying this flag to remind you what you used to fight for, red, White, and Blue, not...GREEN!”
Lowrance, “Hacksaw Jim Duggan is fighting for America!”

The Midnight Express (World Tag Team Champions) w/James E. Cornette, and Big Bubba Rogers bs. Gino Brito Jr. and Armand Rougeau
Cornette Takes the mic from Ralph Pulley.
Cornette, “Here let me do this. Your mush mouth has everyone confused. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the World Tag Team Champions, Loverboy Dennis, and Beautiful Bobby, the Midnight Express!”
The two young Canadians are very sharp. They tag in, and out, and confuse the Champions. Cornette calls his team to the floor. He has a POW-Wow with them, and Big Bubba. They return, and takes over. They are so sharp. Dennis, and Bobby Tag In, and out, and finally hit the Rocket launcher for the win.

Sgt Slaughter w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Duggan comes to the ring carrying “Old Glory”. He grabs the mic from Ralph Pulley.
Duggan, “Slaughter,you used to fight for this! Now you fight for that Camel Jockey’s money! You’ve lost the fans, you’ve lost your country!”
Duggan hands the flag to the ring attendant, and the fight is on, and that is exactly what it is! Both men throw rights, and lefts. Duggan traps Slaughter in the corner, but Sarge fights his way out. The match intensifies until they end up on the arena floor. Both men slug it out down the aisle. Referee David Manning’s count reaches 20, and both men are counted out. This isn’t over!
