Mercer, “Welcome to ‘International Championship Wrestling’. Spring is here, an that means Texas Stadium. We will talk more about it today. We have an interesting main event. Kevin Sullivan, the ‘Master of Darkness”, takes on young Steve Simpson. That will be exciting. Let’s get things started with Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
King Kong Bundy w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Mario Mancini
The massive Bundy blocks out the Sun. He attacks Mancini, and it’s brutal. Bundy tosses him around like a rag doll. Bundy hits the avalanche, and demands a five count.

Match #2
The Midnight Rockers vs. Jeff Carney and Terry Gibbs
The popular Rockets are gearing for their title shot on Texas Stadium. They tag in and out, and use their quickness to control the action. Michaels whips Gibbs into the ropes and clamps on a sleephold. Gibbs fights to the ropes. The Rockers control the action. They win with the Rocker dropper.
Winners-The Midnight Rockers

Mike Rotundo vs. Frank Marconi
Rotundo has been very impressive since arriving in WWI. He puts on a great display of mat wrestling. Marconi tries to hold his own, but Rotundo is too much. He uses the airplane for the win.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Dave Barbie
The popular Duggan takes on the big man from Pennsylvania. The match is hard hitting. Barbie holds his own for a while. Duggan takes over. He hammers away at Barbie, and wins with the spear.

Marc Lowrance is with Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Lowrance, “With me is Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Jim, That was another impressive win. The fans are really behind you.”
Duggan, “Marc, I’m so happy with the fans fans cheer me. I’m here to wrestle the best, and I’m looking for competition.”
General Skandor Akbar and Sgt Slaughter come out.
Akbar, “Listen to me Duggan. You want competition? You talk about being a proud American? Get in the ring with a U.S. Marine! Wrestle Sgt Slaughter!”
Slaughter, “Duggan you puke, you wouldn’t last two minutes in my platoon! I’d bounce you out on your ear! You get in the ring with me, and I’ll teach you to be a man!”
Duggan, “Listen to me Slaughter. I respect you as a Marine, and an American, but I’m not backing down from you! I’ll get in the ring with you anytime!”
Lowrance, “This would be a match the fans would love to see.”

Hercules w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Dan Kroffat
The powerful Hercules has been very impressive. Kroffat is a game youngster, but can he withstand Hercules’s power. Dan uses his speed to stay away from Hercules. Finally, he catches Kroffat. Hercules pounds away at Kroffat. The match continues until Hercules puts on the full Nelson.
Winner-Hercules
Marc Lowrance is with Kevin Sullivan and Maya Singh.
Lowrance, “With me are Kevin Sullivan, and Maya Singh, Gentlemen…”
Sullivan, “Shut up Lowrance! I want you, and the fans, to see this.”
Sullivan, “The Purple Haze is here! The Chairman of the Board has sent him to me! We are unstoppable!”
The Purple Haze walks out.
Lowrance, “The Purple Haze? What is going on?”

The Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering vs. Serge Dumont and Gilles Poisson
The Road Warriors are receiving more, and more, cheers. Tonight, they meet two veterans from Quebec, Poisson, and Hawk start the contest. Hawk is very aggressive. Poisson is a veteran, and uses his dirty tricks to keep Hawk at bay. Hawk tags in Animal, and the big Road Warrior Akers over. Dumont tags in, but he fares no better. The Warriors use the doomsday device for the win.

Kevin Sullivan w/Maya Singh and the Purple Haze vs. Steve Simpson
Sullivan attacks at the bell. Simpson sees it coming, and avoids him. Steve’s speed seems to confuse Sullivan. Kevin gets his bearings, and the beating is on. He stomps and chops away at the young African. Sullivan ties Simpson to the tree of woe, and stomps away at him. Sullivan uses the double footed stomp to end things. Singh and The Haze join Sullivan in the ring. Who can stop them?
Winner-Kevin Sullivan

Mercer, “Sullivan, and his men, they are wild, and unstoppable. We do have breaking news. We have a main event for next week, Sgt Slaughter challenged, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan accepted, and that will be our main event. Don’t miss this one!”
