Last week on Superstars, Men on a Mission brutally attacked the WWF Tag Team Champions The Road Warriors after losing a match to them, this week Men on a Mission will address the situation when they are guests on The King’s Court!!!! Also tonight, Kama does battle with The Undertaker and Savio Vega goes one on one with The Sultan!!!!

Jim Ross and Gorilla Monsoon are your broadcast team!

Superstars kicks off with Savio Vega facing The Sultan who came to the ring, surprisingly, with former WWF Champion The Iron Sheik!!! The Sheik yelled encouragement to Sultan as he and Vega battled it out, Vince mentioned how Vega came up just short in his battle with Brian Pillman for the European Title, After a hard fought battle, Sultan locks the Camel Clutch in on Vega and gets the surprise victory!!

Sultan refuses to release the hold while The Iron Sheik waves the Iranian Flag in the ring, that is until a HUGE gentleman comes over the railing and into the ring to make the save!!! He rips Sultan off Vega and Monsoon says that the man is US Olympic Weightlifter Mark Henry!!!!

Henry gets in Sultan’s face, but security hits the ring before anything can happen, they then escort Henry away without incident. Vince says while he knows things can get exciting in the WWF fans CANNOT come over the barrier and risk their safety!

Todd Pettingil is backstage with Kama who says tonight he is going to finish what he started in the Royal Rumble when he takes The Undertaker OUT!!!

Just then Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett and Debra come up to Kama, Jarrett tells Kama they have allot to talk about as we go to our first commercial break!

Ahmed Johnson battles ”Hangman” Bill Irwin in our next match up, the journeyman Irwin gets some shots in on Ahmed and has him on the mat several times, Ahmed begins several comebacks, but Irwin always finds ways to cut him off, during the match we get a cut in promo from Doomsday who says that he isn’t finished with Ahmed yet and challenges Ahmed to go find two partners to face him and two partners here on Superstars NEXT WEEK! Back in the ring Ahmed makes the come back and gets the pin with the Pearl River Plunge!!!!

Vince then sends us to Michael Hayes with THE SLAM JAM!!!!

Hayes welcomes us to the Slam Jam and The Road to Wrestlemania!!!


The first stop on the road is The Main Event: Cali Clash come to you live from the The Great Western Forum in Los Angeles, California on February 17th here on the USA Network!!!! And it’s such a big show it’s got TWO HUGE MAIN EVENTS!!!

In the first one, The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels will team with WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart and neither one of them wants to team up, to battle Wolfpac members Diesel and Razor Ramon!!! The Wolfpac has been on a tear recently and it’s hard to believe, even as good as Bret and Shawn are, that they are going to be able to put animosity aside to make a successful team.

Our second Main Event is a match 9 months in the waiting, as the man who is going to Wrestlemania to battle for the WWF Title, the 1996 Royal Rumble winner and 5 Time WWF Champion Hulk Hogan faces the man who he eliminated to win the Royal Rumble, the man who forced him out of the WWF 9 months ago, ”Stone Cold” Steve Austin. To say this one is beyond personal is an understatement.

But that’s not all!!!! The Intercontinental Title will be on the line when The Undertaker faces the Champion Jeff Jarrett!!! And not only will Jarrett have his assistant Debra in his corner, but as we discovered this past Monday on Raw, he will also have Jimmy Hart as well!!! And you know that if Jimmy Hart is around, The Giant isn’t far away!!!

We also discovered this Monday Night that Yokozuna will battle the last remaining member of the Million Dollar Corporation, Hunter Hearst Helmsley!!!! Will Yokozuna finally finish off the Million Dollar Corporation, or will it be Yokozuna that goes bankrupt??

Plus the WWF Tag Team Titles will be on the line when Champions The Road Warriors face off with the team of Owen Hart and The British Bulldog!!!! That one promises to be quite a barnburner in it’s own right!!



And I have also got it on good authority that Vic Venom will debut the man he has signed to enter the WWF and if what I am hearing is true, this is going to ROCK the entire sporting world!!!! Don’t miss The Main Event:Cali Clash!!!!!!

Before the next match begins, Gorilla reveals that Ahmed Johnson has accepted Doomsday’s challenge and next week here on Superstars, Ahmed will team with The Showstoppers to meet Doomsday and The Godwinns in six man warfare!!!!

The Headbangers battle the masked Executioners in the next match up, the Bangers utilize their unorthodox brawling style to beat the Executioners around the ring, finishing the match off when Mosh pins Executioner II after a Stage Dive. But the Headbangers aren’t done as they take The Executioners and stack them on a table they set up in the ring, they then hit them with the Stage Dive driving both men through the table!!!!!

Jerry Lawler is in the ring for The Kings Court!!!!

Lawler’s guests this week are Men on a Mission!!! Mabel and Mo come out and say they are embarrassed about what they did last week to the Road Warriors, they let their frustrations get the better of them, and they want to invite the Road Warriors out to apologize. Hawk and Animal head down to the ring, Mabel and Mo apologize again and Lawler acts like he is gagging. Men on a Mission and The Road Warriors shake hands and hug while Lawler says this is making him sick, then MABEL BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEXES ANIMAL!!! Hawk gets pulled into a clothesline by Mo, then he and Mabel put the boots to Hawk!!! Belly to Belly Suplex from Mabel onto Hawk!!! Mabel gets the microphone and says the real thing they should apologize for is for not doing this sooner!!! Monsoon says this is disgusting and Vince sends us to a commercial break!

Todd Pettingill is backstage and plugs the WWF Hotline this week on The Ross Report Jim Ross reveals what former WWF Champion is trying to make a WWF Comeback, and what the chances of him actually doing so are! Plus on Badstreet Confidential find out what former partner of one of Michael Hayes old running buddies is also looking to arrive in the WWF!!!

Ross and Monsoon then quickly plug Raw tomorrow night here on the USA Network, THREE big matches have already been signed, first as a result of what just happened on The King Court, The Road Warriors will defend the WWF Tag Team Titles against Men on A Mission!!!

And then Diesel and ”Stone Cold” Steve Austin meet in what Ross says is a surefire slobberknocker!!!

Plus Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett will team with Hunter Hearst Helmsely to take on Yokozuna and The Undertaker!!!

All this and so much more tomorrow night on MONDAY NIGHT RAW!!!!




In our main event, The Undertaker with Paul Bearer battles Kama!!! But Kama was not alone as Jeff Jarrett’s personal assistant Debra accompanied Kama to the ring!!! Kama didn’t back down to the Undertaker and gave as good as he got!! Debra kept trying to distract the Undertaker, but he was having none of that, she then turned her attentions to Paul Bearer, but Bearer also yelled for her to back off, in the ring Kama tried to get Taker up for a Death Valley Driver but Taker slipped out of the hold. Taker was finally able to catch Kama in a Tombstone Piledriver for a hard fought and well earned victory!!!!

After the match, Jeff Jarrett came running down to ringside with a guitar, he slid into the ring and when the Undertaker turned around, Jarrett unloaded with the instrument, breaking it into several pieces over the Undertaker’s head!!! Jarrett celebrated his attack while holding up the remnants of his weapon, only for THE UNDERTAKER TO SIT UP BEHIND HIM!!!!! Jarrett turned around and saw Taker sitting up and looking at him!!!!! Jarrett freaks out and gets the hell out of the ring!!!! Jarrett and Debra run for the hills as Undertaker gets back to his feet and stares them down!!!!

Backstage Notes:Before the show, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Pat Patterson, Gorilla Monsoon and the booking staff met with Marc Mero, last year Mero left the WWF after his contract had run out. Mero had signed a 6 month contract which had run out, he then signed a series of month to month contracts while negotiating a longer deal with the WWF, at the last minute he bolted back to WCW where he signed a 6 month deal. His return stint to WCW did not work out like he had hoped and Mero was willing to take less money than even WCW was offering for a chance to return to the WWF. Vince agreed to sign Mero to a 2 year deal with an option for a 3 year, Mero’s wife Rena Mero was also signed to the same contract to appear as his valet. Look for Mero to debut after Cali Clash.

Billy Gunn and Chris Candido got into some sort of argument about Sunny, it ended up in a pull apart brawl and Vince sent both men home as well as Sunny. The common feeling was it was more Candido’s fault than Billy’s and he was only defending himself, but nevertheless, it was decided to send everyone involved home.

Bob Holly is working through a severely twisted knee that he suffered at a recent house show when he and Marty Jannetty battled Owen Hart and The British Bulldog. Holly has been earning high praise for finishing the match as the injury happened in the early going and Holly not only pushed through it, but finished the tour, including two double shots on the weekend. As the WWF continues to weigh their options on the Cruiserweight Division, Holly’s name is being brought up as a possible cornerstone, with Chris Candido getting into trouble before the show began, his position as the main babyface of the proposed Cruiserweight Division is in jeopardy.



Scott Putski defeated Venum Black in a Cruiserweight battle as the WWF keep taking a look at what Cruiserweights are out there to fill the division. Putski has been getting an extended look by the WWF and may end up getting offered a contract regardless of whether or not they launch the Cruiser division. Originally, Putski was going to team with Jesse James Armstrong to take on the Smoking Gunns, and Venum Black was going to face Chris Candido, but the backstage fight earlier tonight changed plans. Venum busted out a Corkscrew Moonsault and a Twisting Senton from the top rope to the arena floor to really wow the crowd. Putski won with a Polish Hammer


Jesse James Armstrong defeated Bart Gunn with a Pump Handle Slam Armstrong and Gunn threw everything they had at each other in a decent one on one match up.


Ahmed Johnson and Jake “The Snake” Roberts defeated The Godwinns when Ahmed pinned Phineas after a Spinebuster

Jim “The Anvil” Neidhardt defeated Savio Vega with a Brainbuster, The Anvil was accompanied to the ring by Owen Hart and The British Bulldog but the referee ejected them early in the match, Vega had Neidhardt where he wanted him several times, but just couldn’t put him down for the count.


In a non title match, WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart defeated Razor Ramon when interference from The Kid backfired allowing Hart to grab a quick roll up for the three count, Hart was able to escape the ring before The Kid and Ramon could attack him.

After last week’s explosive finale, WWF CEO Shane McMahon has ordered Diesel and Stone Cold Steve Austin to battle here tonight!!! ”The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels will battle Kama one on one!!! ? PLUS The Undertaker teams with Yokozuna to meet Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett and Hunter Hearst Helmsley!!! All this plus so much more here tonight on MONDAY NIGHT RAW!!!!!

Vince McMahon and Jim Ross welcome everyone to tonight’s program! They talk about tonight’s matches when they are interrupted by Owen Hart’s theme music bringing out the two men who will challenge for the WWF Tag Team Titles at The Main Event: Cali Clash live here on the USA Network on February 17th, Owen Hart and The British Bulldog! Owen and Bulldog take their seats alongside Ross and McMahon to provide some commentary of their own for tonight’s opening match.

WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
MEN ON A MISSION VS. THE ROAD WARRIORS ©

The Road Warriors look like the Roadies of old as they take off their shoulder pads before even getting in the ring and start brawling with Men on a Mission as soon as they slide through the ropes!!! Mo gets tossed to the floor and the tag champs double team Mabel, tossing him into the ropes and dropping him with a double clothesline!! Owen remarks how terrible it is that the Road Warriors are resorting to double team tactics.

The Champions tag in and out several times, keeping a fresh man in on Mable, but the tide turns when Hawk whips Mabel into the corner and attempts a charge, only for Mabel to move and Hawk to slam his shoulder into the ring post. Mabel follows up with a massive belly to belly suplex. Now it’s Men on a Mission’s turn to play keep away! They trap Hawk in the ring and work him over. Mabel gets a close two count after Mo whips Hawk into the ropes and catches him with a drop toe hold and Mabel follows it up with a big leg drop to the back on Hawk’s head!!! Mo gets another two count off an inverted side slam. With their inability to get Hawk to stay down becoming apparent, the two turncoats instead begin to try and wear Hawk down. They use side headlocks and bearhugs to try and weaken Hawk, Mabel works over the small of Hawk’s back, looking in a reverse chin lock and executing several sit down splashes on Hawk’s back. Still Hawk refuses to give up.


Hawk finally catches a break when Mo attempts a backdrop and Hawk reverses it into a spinning neckbreaker!!! Hawk makes the hot tag to Animal who comes in a house of fire!!! Animal nails Mo with punches, he nails Mabel with punches, he blasts Mabel with a dropkick that sends the big man down!!! Animal catches the 300 pound Mo in an impressive military press slam and then tosses Mo onto Mabel!!!! Hawk is back in the ring and they hit a double clothesline on Mabel that sends him falling back into the ropes!!! Mabel’s arms get tied up and he’s stuck!!! Owen thinks that the referee should be trying to free Mabel and that it’s an outrage that he is not!!!! Meanwhile, Animal picks Mo up on his shoulders and Hawk sails off the top rope with the Doomsday Device!!!! Animal makes the cover and gets the three count while Mabel is still struggling to get free!!!!

Winners: WWF Tag Team Champions The Road Warriors

The Road Warriors turn their attention to Owen and The Bulldog, motioning for them to go ahead and climb into the ring. Bulldog flexes while Owen yells and motions that the WWF Tag Titles will be theirs soon!! While all this posturing is going on Vince sends us to the back and Michael Hayes who is with ”Big Daddy Cool” Diesel!!!

Michael Hayes is standing backstage with Diesel and wonders where the rest of the Wolfpac is? Diesel says not to worry about it, they are attending to some important business and will be there when it counts. Hayes asks Diesel about tonight’s match with ”Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Diesel says that Austin brought this onto himself, the Wolfpac was content with leaving Austin alone to do as he wished, as long as it didn’t interfere in their plans, and Austin went and step right in their way. Diesel tells Austin tonight’s ass whipping isn’t personal, it’s just business, Austin interfered in his match with Hulk Hogan last week, and that kept him from taking Hogan out so that Diesel could step up and take Hogan’s Wrestlemania XII WWF Championship title shot, and for that, tonight Austin will pay.....

Back from the break, ”Big Daddy Cool” Diesel’s theme is playing and Diesel is on his way to the ring, WITHOUT either Razor Ramon or the The Kid!!!!

We quickly cut to ”Stone Cold” Steve Austin who is standing in the back, Jim Ross asks Austin about the comments made by ”Big Daddy Cool” Diesel and his match with Diesel which is about to happen in just a few short moments!!


”Stone Cold” Steve Austin: Yeah, I heard what Diesel had to say, and my response to that is SO WHAT?! I already done told everyone that Hulk Hogan belongs to me, and if anyone is going to put him out of the WWF again, it’s gonna be ME!!! The thing about Diesel is, he and his little Wolfpac buddies need to realize that the WWF is STONE COLD’S PLACE. All they have ever done is run around and politic and play games in the locker room to get where they are, Diesel is overrated and he’s a big piece of trash, EXACTLY like Hulk Hogan!!!! So tonight Diesel, I don’t care if you bring Razor Ramon with his oiled back greasy hair, or that dirty little punk The Kid, I don’t care if you bring every friend you ever had to the ring, the bottom line is son tonight you are in for an ass whupping, and as far as Hulk Hogan goes, son, you made the biggest mistake of your LIFE coming back to the World Wrestling Federation. You robbed me at the Royal Rumble, but at California Clash I am going to finish what I started last year. Hogan, on your best day you couldn’t lace my boots!!! And I am going to prove that to the world, and I will, I WILL beat the hell out of Diesel tonight, I will beat the hell out of Hogan at the California Clash, and I WILL GO ON TO WRESTLEMANIA AND STOMP A MUDHOLE IN BRET HART TO BECOME THE WWF CHAMPION AND THAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE CAUSE STONE COLD SAID SO!!!!

Diesel was watching Austin on the screen and he didn’t like anything the Rattlesnake had to say, he is standing in the ring waiting for Austin, when Austin comes through the curtian Diesel is motioning for Austin to come on!! Austin takes his vest off and runs to the ring!! He slides in and Diesel is right on top of him!!!!

The two heels just beat the holy hell out each other as the bell rings!! Referee Tim White does his best to stay out of the way as they brawl around the ring, Diesel knocks Austin out of the ring, but Austin drags Diesel out as well!!! Austin tries to slam Diesel’s head into the ring post, but Diesel shoves Austin into the post and Austin’s shoulder collides with it producing a sick thud!!!! Diesel then grabs Austin and sends him flying into the ring steps which explode into two pieces as Austin hits them!!! Diesel rolls Austin back into the ring. After beating Austin into the mat, Diesel tosses Austin into the corner, where he unloads on Austin with back elbows, then chokes him with his foot. Diesel then whips Austin into the ropes and attempts a clothesline but Austin ducks, Austin ducks a back elbow and then catches Diesel with the Thesz Press!!! Now it’s Austin’s turn to beat Diesel into the mat!!! Austin bounces off the ropes and drops a pointed elbow across Diesel’s throat!!! Austin uses the middle rope to choke Diesel, he leaves Diesel lying on the middle rope and bounces off the ropes, he tries to land on Diesel’s back, but Diesel moves and Austin crashes onto the middle rope and springs back onto the canvas!!! Diesel grabs Austin and drops him face first on the top turnbuckle with Snake Eyes!!!! Diesel keeps Austin backed into the corner and is just wearing him out with punches and elbows!!! Referee Tim White tries to break it up several times until Diesel shoves White away!!! Austin uses the momentary distraction as an opening to rip at Diesel’s eyes!!! Austin now turns the tables and has Diesel in the corner and is beating the hell out of him!!! Austin then kicks Diesel to the mat, flips him off and kicks him in the face!!! Austin is just kicking and stomping on Diesel in the corner!!!! Now Tim White tries to pull Austin off and Austin tosses White across the ring!!!! Diesel is able to get to his feet and starts trading punches with Austin!! The two men are going blow for blow in the center of the ring!!!! White tries to break it up and they both slug him!!!! The two men continue brawling while White, holding his jaw and barely able to stand, calls for the bell disqualifying both men!!!!!

Winner: Double Disqualification

The sound of the bell does nothing to deter either man as they continue to fight it out!! Finally officials jump into the ring to pull the two men apart!!! Jim Ross sends us to the locker room and Todd Pettingill who is trying to find ”The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels!!!

Todd Pettingill says things look crazy out there, he says he has been looking for Shawn Michaels since we went on the air to try and get a word with him about what happened last week when Shawn teamed with WWF Champion Bret “Hitman” Hart against the Smoking Gunns and whether or not Shawn was meaning to hit Bart Gunn or his own partner Bret Hart with the Superkick, but he has had no luck finding him. Hulk Hogan is walking passed Todd and Todd stops him to ask The Hulkster if he has seen Shawn? Hogan says no he hasn’t, he has no idea where Michaels might be. Just then a WWF Tech guy comes up to Todd and says something is going on in the parking deck!! Todd, Hogan and the camera man rush through the door near them to see Razor Ramon and The Kid beating the crap out of a bloody Shawn Michaels!!! The Kid is holding Michaels up while Ramon is just wailing on him. When they see Hogan they take off running!!! Hogan kneels down to check on the bloody HBK!!!!

Kama is in the ring shadow boxing and taunting the crowd whilehis music plays. Jim Ross says there is no way Shawn Michaels is going to be able to make it to this match as he has been rushed to an area hospital due to the injuries he sustained in what can only be described as a MUGGING by the Wolfpac, and almost on cue.....

The Wolfpac’s theme starts playing, Razor Ramon slides out followed closely by The Kid, Ross calls both men a couple of thugs. Ramon and The Kid climb into the ring, Kama puts his hands up saying he doesn’t want to fight them and bails out of the ring, hanging out by the time keeper. Ramon gets his hands on a microphone.

Razor Ramon: Hey yo!!!!................Say hello, TO DA BAD GUYS.......So it don’t look like The Heartbreak Kids gonna make to the match. (Ramon and The Kid yuck it up) One down, two to go. The Wolfpac is settling all debts, hey Hitmang, as long as you got that WWF Title around your waist mang, you owe the Wolfpac a BIG debit chico. At Cali Clash, you gonna step in the ring with me, and the big mang, Diesel and chico, you ain’t gonna be walking out. Then we got The Huckster..................Hey yo, Huckster, you gonna uh, give Shawn Michaels some vitimans mang? You gonna uh, says some prayers for him chico? The best thing you can do mang, is take that contract for the title shot at Wrestlemania, and sign it over to the Wolfpac, cause no matter what chico, we gonna take it, so you can either give it to us, or we can carve.....you......up!!!!!!

The crowd begins to stir as Hulk Hogan makes his way down the aisle!!! Ramon is telling Hogan to bring it and The Kid is waiting for Hogan as well!!! Hogan climbs up on the apron and The Kid rushes him but Hogan beats him back with punches!! Hogan climbs through the ropes and starts brawling with Ramon!!!!! The Kid attacks Hogan from behind!!! It’s two on one!!! They whip Hogan into the corner, but Hogan explodes out and clotheslines both men down!!! Hogan then clotheslines The Kid out of the ring!!!! Hogan and Ramon start to brawl again!!! THe Kid grabs a chair from ringside and rolls back into the ring!! The Kid tries to hit Hogan from behind with the chair, but Hogan moves!!! The Kid brings the chair down hard on Ramon’s head!!!! Hogan then takes the chair from the dumbfounded Kid and bashes him in the head with it!!!! The Wolfpac finds themselves on the arena floor!!! Diesel rushes out of the back to pull Ramon and the Kid off, he tells them not now, they’ll get Hogan soon. Hogan is pointing and yelling at The Wolfpac. He throws the chair at them as they back up the aisle, Diesel yells back at Hogan with a smirk on his face that they’ll see him soon!!!!!

Todd Pettingill is backstage with WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart and wants to get Bret’s reaction to what has transpired here tonight with The Wolfpac, Shawn Michaels and now Hulk Hogan.

Bret Hart: I am not sure what you want from me Todd, you want me to shed a tear for Shawn Michaels? The guy who just last week tried to attack me with a Superkick while he was my partner? Maybe Shawn isn’t aligned with his old buddies, but he isn’t much better than them, and it doesn’t hurt my feelings if he can’t be my partner at California Clash, I’ll take the Wolfpac on all by myself, or the WWF can assign me another partner, and it doesn’t matter if it’s The Undertaker, or The Brooklyn Brawler, because when I step in that ring at California Clash I am going to do what I do everytime I step in the squared circle and that’s prove that I am what I say I am, I am the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. As far as being on some sort of hit list by the Wolfpac, well I am used to that, like I said last week, I am on everyone’s hit list as long as I hold this WWF World Title, and I am fine with that. If the Wolfpac wants me, if they want a fight, well I am not a hard guy to find!!! But they ain’t got the guts to do anything but jump people from behind!!!

Todd Pettingill: Bret, I don’t want to interupt you buy we gotta go back up to the ring it sounds like we have an impromtu match going on right now!!!

Kama vs. Hulk Hogan

Back at ringside and it looks like Hogan is taking Shawn Michaels place against Kama!!!! Kama and Hogan are fighting in the ring, Kama throws Hogan into the ropes and attempts a big right hand, but Hogan ducks it and knocks Kama down with a shoulder tackle. Hogan whips Kama into the corner and follows him in with a big clothesline, he whips him into the opposite corner and follows him in with another clothesline. Hogan bodyslams Kama in the middle of the ring and attempts the big leg drop, but Kama moves!!!!

Hogan crashes to the mat, Kama puts the boots to Hogan, pulls him to his feet and slams him HARD onto the mat!!! Kama follows up with a standing elbow drop, followed by a second and then a third, but a cover only gets a two count. Kama with a shoulder breaker on Hogan and then he starts to work Hogan’s arm. Hogan fights to his feet and breaks an armbar, but when he runs the ropes he is met by a massive clothesline for Kama that damn near sends Hogan’s head into the third row!!!!! Kama goes for another cover and again gets a two count. Kama whips Hogan into the corner and starts uploading with punches. He whips Hogan into the opposite corner and tries for a leaping splash, but Hogan moves at the last second and Kama not only crashes into the corner but flips clear out the ring!!!!


Hogan follows Kama out and slams his face on the ring apron!!! He then attempts to whip Kama into the ring barrier but Kama reverses it sending Hogan crashing onto the ring barrier!!!! Kama sticks his head into the ring to restart the count, then removes a section of padding surrounding the ring!!! Kama attempts to piledrive Hogan on the bare concrete floor, but Hogan blocks it then backdrops out of it!!! Hogan and Kama struggle to their feet, Kama charges Hogan, Hogan catches him in a body slam and plants Kama on the exposed concrete!!!!!


Hogan rolls Kama back into the ring right before they are both counted out!! Hogan makes the cover but Kama kicks out at two!!! Hogan whips Kama into the ropes and rains ten punches down on his head while the crowd counts along!!! Hogan tries to scoop Kama up for a bodyslam, but Kama slips out behind Hogan and folds Hogan up with a belly to back suplex!!!! Kama works a nerve hold while Hogan tries to fight to his feet. Hogan fights up, breaks the hold, fires several punches off on Kama!!! Kama rakes Hogan’s eyes, he tries to whip Hogan into the ropes but Hogan reverses it and catches Kama square on the jaw with a Big Boot!!!! Hogan then hits the ropes and drops the big leg drop!!! A cover and Hogan gets the three count and the victory!!!!

Marty Jannetty stands in the ring waiting his opponent when we return from commercial break, Vince and Ross tell us Raw is being brought to us by Castrol GTX, Gillette, Burger King and finally The Army, be all the you can be!.


Brian Pillman’s music starts to play and the European Champion a proverbial Loose Cannon heads down to the ring for a non title match!!!

Marty Jannetty vs. Brian Pillman

Pillman offers a handshake to Jannetty before the match starts, Jannetty refused to take it, Pillman drops to his knees, puts one arm behind his back and asks for the handshake again, this time Jannetty quickly shakes his hand. Pillman jumps up and then tries to charge Jannetty but gets clotheslined instead!!!! Jannetty with a series of clotheslines and then he whips Pillman into the ropes and catches him with a HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH backdrop!!! Pillman quickly rolls out of the ring to escape the onslaught. While on the floor Pillman tries to pick fights with a couple of kids and an old lady.


Pillman finally gets back into the ring and teases a test of strength, which is of course a ruse as he kicks Jannetty in the gut and grabs a side headlock. Jannetty backs Pillman into the ropes, and fires him off to break the headlock, he catches Pillman with a powerslam that nets him a two count. Jannetty then grabs a side headlock of his own while Ross informs us that next week, Pillman will defend his European Title against Jake “The Snake” Roberts here on Monday Night Raw. Ross and Vince have been talking off and on throughout the match about the issue between Pillman and Roberts. In the ring, Pillman has fought to his feet and broken the headlock, he runs the ropes only to get caught in a sleeper hold by Jannetty. Pillman is fighting Jannetty, so Jannetty turns the Sleeper into a devastating Sleeper Drop!!! Jannetty makes a cover, but somehow Pillman is able to kick out right before the three count!!!


Jannetty gets to his feet and is pumped up, he throws Pillman into the ropes and goes for a tilt a whirl slam, but Pillman reverses it into an arm drag!!!! Pillman fires off a series of dropkick that sends Jannetty reiling back into the corner!!! Pillman fires knife edge chops onto Jannetty, he tries to whip him off into the opposite corner but Jannetty reverses it and catches Pillman with a running splash and follows up with a Bulldog for another two count!!!


Pillman keeps finding ways to slip out the back door. Jannetty drops Pillman with a stalling brainbuster, and that also only nets him a two count. Jannetty then sets Pillman up on the top rope, he attempts a Super Belly to back Suplex, but Pillman turns into Jannetty and instead lands on top of him!!!!! Pillman covers but only gets a two count!!! Pillman peels Jannetty off the mat and whips him into the ropes, Jannetty leapfrogs Pillman then comes back and catches him in a crucifix for a two count!!! Jannetty then hits two deep arm drags on Pillman and Pillman quickly bails out of the ring to get away from Jannetty!!! Jannetty is having none of that though, runs the ropes and hits Pillman with a plancha!!!! Jannetty rolls Pillman quickly back into the ring and climbs to the top rope, he measures Pillman and comes off the top for what looks like a crossbody, but Pillman catches him on the way down with a dropkick!!!!


Pillman covers Jannetty, but Jannetty somehow kicks out right before the three count!!! Pillman attempts a Tornado DDT on Jannetty but Jannetty blocks it and then reverses it into a Northern Lights Suplex with a bridge for a two count!!! Pillman gets to his feet and catches a superkick flush to the mush!!! Jannetty makes the cover, but Pillman kicks out at two!!!! Jannetty grabs a rear waist lock on Pillman, Pillman blocks the german suplex, Pillman with elbows to Jannetty’s face, Pillman reverses the rear waistlock, pops the hips!!! Pillman hits the Release German Suplex, no bridge, all impact!!! Jannetty is slow to get up, Pillman grabs him and this time is able to execute a tornado ddt!!! Pillman makes the cover and gets the three count!!!

Jarrett says tonight, he and Hunter are going to solve all their problems and take out both their opponents for The Main Event: Cali Clash Hunter agrees and says that Yokozuna should be happy that HHH is going to finish him off tonight, because it means he can fly his fat ass back to Japan a little earlier!!!! Jarrett and Helmsley may have bitten off more than they can chew here tonight, somewhere a young Jason Kreitzer is having a heart attack hoping Undertaker beats Jarrett and HHH all by himself, Ross says it is surreal to see Taker and Yoko side by side after the wars they were having this time last year. Jarrett and Hunter try to attack Taker and Yoko as soon as the bell rings, but Taker and Yoko are ready for it!!! They beat back their opponents into opposite corners, with Taker pounding on Jarrett and Yoko pounding on HHH!!! Taker and Yoko then whip the two men into each other!!! All four men are still in the ring the official in charge obviously not wanting to step in the middle of this!!!

Taker gets Jarrett back in the corner and is unloading with punches!!!! Yoko whips HHH into the ropes and drops him with a clothesline and then follows up with a big leg drop!!! Taker throws Jarrett out of the ring through the ropes while Dibiase reaches into the ring to drag HHH away from Yokozuna!!!! HHH, Jarrett, Dibiase and Jimmy Hart are all together on the floor trying to come up with a new strategy when Taker runs the ropes and flies out of the ring with a suicide dive!!! Taker takes out all four men!!! Taker is slowly getting to his feet he rolls HHH back into the ring for Yokozuna who is waiting for him, HHH staggers to his feet and stumbles right into a Samoan Drop from Yokozuna!!! Yoko then drags HHH to the corner, Dibiase jumps on the apron, distracting the referee, Jarrett jumps up on the apron and blasts Yoko in the face with the Intercontinental Title!!!!


Taker comes around the ring and pulls Jarrett down, he blasts Jarrett with a punch that sends the Intercontiental Title belt flying!!! Taker is beating Jarrett around the ringside area while Hunter drapes an arm across Yokozuna’s chest!!!

TAKER PULLS HUNTER OUT OF THE RING!!!

Taker is beating on Hunter against the ring apron!!!! Jarrett nails Taker from behind with a double ax handle!!! Hunter rips at Taker’s eyes!!!! They then double whip Taker into the ring barrier!!!!! Hunter climbs back into the ring and starts kicking and punching Yokozuna. He drops a knee and makes a cover, but Yoko kicks out at two!!! Hunter and Jarrett then begin to tag in and out very quickly, taking turns punching and kicking Yokozuna. While the onslaught is going on, Vince reveals that they have a phone call from SHAWN MICHAELS!!!


Michaels says he is at the hospital and he just got stitched up, he said he doesn’t want to wait till Cali Clash to get his hands on Razor Ramon, and he wants him on Raw, one on one next week!!! Vince says he is sure that match will be something else if it gets signed!!! Things looked pretty bleak for the two time former WWF Champion until he caught Hunter with a desperation Samoan Drop!!!!


Yoko then was able to make a tag to The Undertaker!!! HHH tried to attack Taker as he entered the ring, but Taker no sold all the offense, HHH tries to whip Taker into the ropes, but Taker reversed it and sent HHH into the ropes!!! Taker caught Hunter with a Chokeslam!!! Taker went for the cover, but the referee waved him off as Jeff Jarrett made the blind tag as Hunter was running the ropes!!! Jarrett is perched on the top rope!!!! Taker gets to his feet and Jarrett launches himself off the top!!! UNDERTAKER CATCHES HIM!!! Taker repositions Jarrett and drops him on his head with a Tombstone Piledriver!!!!! Taker makes the cover and gets the three count winning the match for his team!!!!!

Jarrett is pulled out of the ring and Debra hands him the IC Title, The Giant comes down to ringside to help Jarrett up, Taker points down to Jarrett and motions he will soon wear the IC Title, Jarrett looks terrified but The Giant simply, slowly, shakes his head no to the Undertaker, Ross quickly yells that Shane McMahon has signed Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon to meet one on one here next week as the show goes off the air!!!!

This week, Superstars kicks off with Owen Hart’s music playing as he and The British Bulldog head to the ring for the opening contest. Awaiting them in the ring is the duo of Chris Candido and Jesse James Armstrong. A back and forth battle, Candido and Owen put on quite a show when they are in the ring against each other, including an amazing spot where Owen reverses a Super Bomb into a Super Frankenstiener!!! During the match Ross reveals that The British Bulldog has challenged Road Warrior Animal to an arm wrestling contest this Monday Night on Raw!!! We get a brief cut in promo from the WWF Tag Team Champions The Road Warriors first Ross congratulates them on beating Men on a Mission this past Monday Night, and then asks Animal if he has accepted The Bulldog’s challenge, Animal says he has and plans to rip Bulldog’s arm off on Monday Night!!! Back in the ring, Owen forces Jesse James Armstrong to submit to the Sharpshooter to win the match for his team!!

We then go backstage to Todd Pettingill who is with Doomsday and The Godwinns!!!






Todd asks them about tonight’s main event against Ahmed Johnson and The Showstoppers, The Godwinns says they owe the Showstoppers for eliminating Phineas at The Royal Rumble and tonight they gonna get a good ol fashion COUNTRY ASS WHUPPIN!!! Duke Drose is in the ring when we return from commercial break while his his theme music plays in the arena. Ross and Monsoon show us quick replays of what happened last week when Jarrett tried to attack The Undertaker after Taker’s match with Kama, then again what happened on Raw when Undertaker pinned Jarrett to win the tag match on Raw. Ross and Monsoon wonder, even with the Jimmy Hart and most probably The Giant in his corner, how he will retain the Intercontinental Title next Sunday at the Main Event against the Dead Man??

Jeff Jarrett heads to the ring with Debra at his side and seems to be his normal cocky self, while Jarrett is the Intercontiental Champion, this match against Drose is a non title one. Jarrett makes an early mistake when he offers a handshake to Drose, pulls it away and struts across the ring. Drose doesn’t like that and goes right for Jarrett!!!! The big man wails on Jarrett knocking him down with punches and clotheslines as well as a big boot that sends Jarrett staggering into the corner. The fired up Drose then rains ten punches down on Jarrett’s head while the crowd counts along. Drose whips Jarrett across the ring into the opposite corner and tries to follow up with a knee, but Jarrett moves. Drose injuries his knee and Jarrett takes control and never looks back. Jarrett is able to secure a submission victory here on Superstars with The Figure Four Leg Lock!!!

Ross then sends us to Michael Hayes with THE SLAM JAM!!

The first stop on the road is The Main Event: Cali Clash come to you live from the The Great Western Forum in Los Angeles, California on February 17th here on the USA Network!!!! And it’s such a big show it’s got TWO HUGE MAIN EVENTS!!!

In the first one, The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels will team with WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart and neither one of them wants to team up, to battle Wolfpac members Diesel and Razor Ramon!!! The Wolfpac has been on a tear recently and it’s hard to believe, even as good as Bret and Shawn are, that they are going to be able to put animosity aside to make a successful team.

Our second Main Event is a match 9 months in the waiting, as the man who is going to Wrestlemania to battle for the WWF Title, the 1996 Royal Rumble winner and 5 Time WWF Champion Hulk Hogan faces the man who he eliminated to win the Royal Rumble, the man who forced him out of the WWF 9 months ago, ”Stone Cold” Steve Austin. To say this one is beyond personal is an understatement.

But that’s not all!!!! The Intercontinental Title will be on the line when The Undertaker faces the Champion Jeff Jarrett!!! And not only will Jarrett have his assistant Debra in his corner, he will also have Jimmy Hart as well!!! And you know that if Jimmy Hart is around, The Giant isn’t far away!!!

Yokozuna will battle the last remaining member of the Million Dollar Corporation, Hunter Hearst Helmsley!!!! Will Yokozuna finally finish off the Million Dollar Corporation, or will it be Yokozuna that goes bankrupt??

Austin said he went into The Royal Rumble ready for anything, he pulled the first number, and then he saw the Red and Yellow Rash was back, but he didn’t care he knew, HE KNEW that no damn body was gonna be able to stop him from throwing 29 other pieces of trash out of the damn ring and going on to Wrestlemania 12 and kicking the crap outta Bret Hart for the WWF Title, but somehow, someway, Hogan figured out a way to cheat him out of his victory. Austin says next Sunday at Cali Clash he is going to make the ass kicking he gave Hogan last year feel like a back rub from an angel!!!! He says he is going to beat Hogan so bad Hogan won’t even try to crawl back to that hole in the wall mickey mouse promotion he was fooling around with before. Ahmed Johnson teams with The Showstoppers to defeat Doomsday and The Godwinns to close out this week’s Superstars!!!! When we came back from commerical break the match had already started as The Godwinns and Doomsday attacked Ahmed on his way to the ring, The Showstoppers had already made their way to the ring and quickly came to Ahmed’s rescue. Out of control brawl, Ahmed and Doomsday ended up battling each other out into the crowd, Bob Holly scored the pinfall for his team after Marty Jannetty hit a superplex on Phineas Godwinn that Holly followed up with a top rope Alabama Jam!!!!





Ross and Monsoon close the show, they remind us that next week Superstar will not air, instead tune in at 7 pm for The Main Event Cali Clash!!!!!

Jim Ross is joined this week, not by Vince McMahon, but by Jerry “The King” Lawler!!!! Vince is back in the WWF Studios for his interview later tonight with Hulk Hogan, so The King has stepped in to try and save the program. Tonight, Shawn Michaels will face Razor Ramon in the Main Event, Ross says we can rest assured that Diesel and The Kid will be in Ramon’s corner, but with WWF Champion Bret Hart be in Shawn’s corner? The King doubts it because just like his geriatric parents Stu and Helen, Bret is nothing but a selfish jerk!! Also tonight, The British Bulldog has challenged Road Warrior Animal to an Arm Wrestling Contest!! And Intercontinental Champion, “Double J” Jeff Jarrett will be in non title action as he prepare to meet The Undertaker this Sunday Night at Cali Clash

EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP:

Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. Brian Pillman (C)

Pillman was completely off his rocker for this one. He mocked Roberts to start, getting a slap across the face for his troubles. Roberts unloads on Pillman with punches, whips him into the ropes and hits a hiiiiiiiiiiiiigh back drop!!! Roberts backs Pillman into the corner and unloads with punches, he whips him to the opposite corner and charges, but Pillman kicks Roberts in the face. Pillman then clotheslines Roberts down!!!

Pillman then begins to kick and stomp Roberts. Lawler loves it and says Roberts is so overmatch it is ridiculous! Ross doesn’t agree with that at all as Pillman suplexes Roberts and makes a cover for a two count. Pillman continues to work Roberts over, all the while mocking him, Pillman whips Roberts into the corner and charges him, but Roberts moves and Pillman runs shoulder first into the top turnbuckle! Roberts kicks Pillman in the gut and attempts to lock in the front face lock for the DDT but Pillman drops to the mat and quickly rolls out of the ring,

Pillman stalls for time, getting into an argument with a ringside fan before climbing back into the ring. He goes to lock up with Roberts but instead rakes his eyes, he whips Roberts into the ropes and brings him down to the mat with a hip toss. Pillman works a headlock on the mat. Lawler says he is sure Roberts is giving up but the referee is too stupid to hear it. Roberts slowly fights to his feet and breaks the headlock after a series of elbows. He runs the ropes, but Pillman leapfrogs him then nearly takes Roberts’ head off with a picture perfect dropkick!!! Pillman makes a cover but only gets a two count. Pillman jumps to his feet to argue the count with Earl Hebner, he gets right in Hebner’s face screaming that was a three count, poking him in the chest, Lawler agrees with Pillman and says he should slug Hebner, Hebner shoves Pillman right into a roll up by Roberts!!! Pillman kicks out at two!!! Lawler yells that was a fast count, and it may have been, Roberts kicks Pillman in the gut and attempts another DDT, but again Pillman drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring!!!


Pillman is walking around ringside, pointing to his head and telling people how smart he is, he once again gets into an argument with a ringside fan and doesn’t see Roberts drop out of the ring after him!!! Roberts hits Pillman from behind, he and Pillman slug it out on the floor, but Pillman gets the upper hand and bodyslams Roberts on the arena floor!!! Pillman then goes over to the time keeper and pulls him from his chair!!! Pillman closes the chair up, Roberts is up and leaning against the ring post, Pillman swings with all he’s got, but Roberts ducks at the last second and Pillman wraps the chair around the ring post!!! Ross says if Pillman had connected he’d have damn sure caved Roberts’ head in!!!


Roberts rolls back into the ring and Pillman follows, Roberts is on his knees and gives Pillman the up yours sign!!!! Pillman kicks Roberts then whips him hard into the buckle!!! He unloads with knife edge chops that can be heard throughout the building. He pulls Roberts out of the corner and bodyslams him to the mat. Pillman goes to the top rope but spends too much time running his mouth!!! Pillman points and laughs at Roberts, and then gives him the up yours sign!! Pillman leaps off the top rope looking for a Flying Splash, but Roberts rolls out of the way and Pillman crashes to the mat!!! Roberts gets to his feet fired up!!! He unloads on Pillman with jabs!!! Roberts then hits Pillman with a short arm clothesline!!! The crowd is chanting DDT!! DDT!! DDT!!! Roberts signals for it and the place comes unglued!!! Lawler is begging Pillman to get out of the ring, to do something!!


Roberts pulls Pillman up and locks on the front face lock, but Pillman backdrops Roberts!!! Lawler loves it and yells that the clock is striking midnight for Roberts!!! Pillman backs Roberts into the ropes with chops, he tries to whip Roberts across the ring, but Roberts reverses and catches Pillman in the gut with a knee!! Pillman is doubled over!!! Roberts locks in the front face lock and hits the DDT!!! Roberts makes the cover!!! Lawler is screaming at Pillman to kick out!!!! But he doesn’t!! Roberts gets the cover and the three count to win the European Title!!!!

Winner: AND NEW EUROPEAN CHAMPION JAKE ROBERTS!

Pillman can’t believe it and neither can Jake!!! Hebner hands Roberts the European Title and Roberts just clutches it!!! Roberts has won his first title here in the World Wrestling Federation!!!!

We quickly cut to the back where Todd Pettingill is with Shawn Michaels.

Todd Pettingill: What a great moment for Jake Roberts!! Fans, at this time I am joined by a man who last week was jumped by Razor Ramon and The Kid in the parking lot and savagely beaten, HBK, I have to say I am shocked to see you up and ready to compete tonight!

Shawn MichaelsWell Toddster, The Heartbreak Kid is full of surprises. First let me give a shout out to Jake Roberts on winning the European Title, a belt that I have held before and know the honor of wearing, congrats Snake man, and here is to a long reign! Now, as for tonight, Shawn Michaels is climbing into the ring with his old buddy, one of the men who jumped me from behind last week, the Bad Guy himself, Razor Ramon. Hey chico, you did a number on me last week, BUT YOU DIDN’T GET THE JOB DONE!!! I won’t make the same mistake tonight!!!!

Todd Pettingill:As everyone knows, this weekend at The Main Event; Cali Clash, live here on the USA Network, you are going to be teaming with WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart to face Ramon and Diesel. Now everyone knows that the relationship between you and Bret isn’t in the best of shape, and everyone also knows that Ramon is going to not only have Diesel in his corner tonight, but The Kid as well. Will “The Hitman” be in your corner tonight?


Shawn Michaels:In order for him to do that he’d have to stop worrying that eveyrone was out to get him. Look I’ve tried to be the Hitman’s friend, I tried to stand beside him, I’ve done everything I could to get him to trust me, but it’s never going to happen and I am tired of trying, and you know what else? I don’t even WANT the Hitman in my corner tonight. So you know what Bret, don’t worry about it, take the night off, sit around and worry some more about who is trying to trick you or steal your belt away from you, I don’t need your help tonight, and I don’t want it!!!

Todd Pettingill is backstage and the celebration is ON!!! Jake Roberts has the European Title on his shoulder, the Road Warriors, Ahmed Johnson, Yokozuna, The Headbangers, Savio Vega and Jesse James Armstrong are celebrating with him, pouring champagne over his head.

Todd Petttingill: Jake, you have won your very first title after a decade career here in the World Wrestling Federation, how does it feel.

Jake Roberts: It’s amazing, it’s one of the greatest feeling in my life. Thank you to all the people that didn’t give up on me, you can look at this, look at this belt and realize it’s never too late to fulfill your dreams...

HHH: Woah, woah, woah. I am not here to fight, I am here to CONGRATULATE you, yeah that’s right, I want to congratulate you on being the first man to lose a title to ME here in the World Wrestling Federation, you just guaranteed your place in history. Because once I am done with that giant piece of garbage over there (points to Yokozuna) at Cali Clash, then I am coming for that belt. So enjoy it while you can!

Dibiase lets out a robust laugh as the two leave and Roberts is left with a scowl on his face.

Marty Jannetty vs. Jeff Jarrett with Debra

Jarrett is the Intercontinental Champion, but this is a non title match. Jannetty’s tag team partner Bob Holly is conspicuous by his absence but Ross claims it is because Holly is at home rehabbing and resting an injured knee that he has been working with for over a month now. Ross reminds us that Jannetty was once the Intercontinental Champion and a win tonight would go a long way in getting Jannetty another shot at the title.


Jarrett struts around the ring, he and Jannetty go to lock up, but Jarrett ducks out of it and struts again, Jannetty just shakes his head. They finally do lock up, Jarrett backs Jannetty into the ropes, the referee calls for a clean break, Jarrett acts like he is going to give it and then tries to take a swing at Jannetty!! Jannetty blocks it and then blasts Jarrett with a punch of his own!! Jannetty punches Jarrett across the ring into the opposite ropes, he whips him off, Jannetty leapfrogs Jarrett, Jarrett leapfrogs Jannetty, Jannetty ducks a clothesline, Jannetty attempts a hip toss, Jarrett blocks it, Jarrett reverses and attempts a hip toss, Jannetty blocks it, Jannetty attempts a backslide!! Both men are fighting to be the first to drop to their knees for leverage, Jannetty wins out and gets a two count!!!

Back to their feet, Jannetty hits Jarrett with a deep arm drag and grabs an arm bar. Jannetty works the arm, but Jarrett fights to his feet and into the ropes to break the hold. The referee backs Jannetty up, Jarrett pokes Jannetty in the eyes, he then grabs a side headlock, Jarrett works the hold, Jannetty fights out of it and shoves Jarrett into the ropes, Jannetty leapfrogs Jarrett and then connects with a superkick that sends Jarrett stumbling backward!! Jarrett falls through the ropes and outside of the ring!!! Jarrett is on the floor, dazed, Debra rushes to his aid!!! Inside the ring, Jannetty busts out into a strut of his own!!!

Debra leaves Jarrett’s side and jumps on the apron to protest!!! She distracts the referee and Jannetty, while Jarrett sneaks around the ring, slides in behind Jannetty and clips him from behind!!! Jarrett goes to work on Jannetty’s leg!! He works it over for a bit, while he is working Jannetty’s leg we get a split screen interview with The Undertaker and Paul Bearer backstage!!!!


Ross asks Taker if he is ready to face Jarrett this Sunday Night at the Cali Clash, Taker says he is indeed, when asked about Jimmy Hart being in Jarrett’s corner, Taker says he is not worried, all it means is Taker will get a chance to get his hands on Jimmy Hart. When asked about the possibility of the Giant getting involved, Taker says that if the Giant sticks his nose into the match, then he promises to drag the Giant straight to hell.



Back in the ring Jarrett has continued to work on the leg, but when he tries to go for a Figure Four Leg Lock, Jannetty grabs him and pulls him into an inside cradle for a three count!!!! Jannetty and Jarrett both get to their feet and trade punches, Jannetty backs Jarrett into the ropes, he attempts to whip him off but Jarrett reverses!!! Jannetty ducks a clothesline, he ducks a back elbow and then connects with a crossbody!!! Jannetty hangs on and gets a two count!!! Jannetty brings Jarrett back to the mat with a snap suplex and then heads to the top rope!!! Jannetty jumps off and connects with a Flying Fist Drop!!!


Jannetty makes the cover, but somehow Jarrett kicks out right before the three!!!! Jannetty pulls Jarrett to his feet and tosses him into the corner, Jannetty climbs to the second turnbuckles and rains ten punches down on Jarrett’s head while the crowd counts along!!! Jannetty then whips Jarrett into the opposite corner, but when he tries to follow up with a flying knee, Jarrett moves, and Jannetty crashes knee first into the corner!!! Jannetty staggers out and Jarrett clips him!!! Jarrett drags Jannetty to the middle of the ring and locks in the Figure Four!!! Jannetty tries to fight it but can’t and finally gives up!!!

Winner: Jeff Jarrett

Debra brings Jarrett the IC Title and Jarrett struts around the ring, he looks in the camera and tells the Undertaker that he is going to get the same thing this Sunday at Cali Clash. Jarrett struts one more time as Ross sends us to the back and the WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart who is with Michael Hayes!!


Michael Hayes:Bret, Todd Pettingill talked to Shawn Michaels earlier, the man who you are going to be teaming with this Sunday Night, live here on the USA Network at Cali Clash and he says he doesn’t want you in his corner tonight when he faces one of the men you two will battle on Sunday, Razor Ramon.

Bret Hart; Yeah, I heard what the Boy Toy had to say, and you know what, I wasn’t planning to be at ringside tonight, I said it before, I could care less what happens to Shawn Michaels, I don’t want to team with him on Sunday and I wouldn’t care if I had to team with someone else. I wasn’t planning on being at ringside tonight, but you know what, Shawn Michaels doesn’t tell me what to do, so I think I will come down to the ring tonight and get a first hand look!!!


Ross says this powder keg is going to explode, and when we return, Vince McMahon will have a sit down interview with Hulk Hogan, and you aren’t going to want to miss it!!!

Vince McMahon: I’m Vince McMahon, and I am joined by Hulk Hogan, and Hulkster I want you to comment on your impending match, in 6 days, with “Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

Hulk Hogan: Yeah, I’d like to comment on Steve Austin, but when you talk about a match of this magnitude, when you talk about me facing the man who came the closest to ending Hulkamania almost a year ago. I have faced Andre The Giant, The Ultimate Warrior, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Sgt. Slaughter, The Million Dollar Man, The Undertaker, Yokozuna, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, I have battled them all and beat them all, but none of them ever tested me, ever made me doubt myself the way “Stone Cold” has. This is the biggest test of my career Vince McMahon, and it means I am on the edge of greatness, or I am on the edge of disaster, and if I am on the edge of disaster, then their may not be a reason for Hulk Hogan to be in the WWF anymore.

When Austin did what he did to me last year, I thought I was done, I didn’t think there was any more room in the World Wrestling Federation for the Hulk Hogan or for Hulkamania. Sure, I dabbled here and there with some small time promotions, had a few matches, but it wasn’t the WWF, it wasn’t the biggest stage of them all. Like many of the all time greats I thought it was time to go back down that ladder, wrestling in smaller arenas against other guys whose best days were behind them, against the young up and comers who are trying to see if they have what it takes to make it to the big stage one day.


But the fans, the fans didn’t want Hulkamania to die, your son, Shane McMahon didn’t want Hulkamania to die. When he heard I was taking some matches here and there he started calling, each week he called to check in on me, to see if I wanted to give it one more go, and finally, finally I guess he wore me down and I agreed to appear at The Royal Rumble.


I thought my Rumble appearance was going to be like those of many of the guys who have come back to the Rumble for one night, just a quick pop in, get to hear the crowd once more, then I’d go back to the small stage again, in my wildest dreams I never imagined that I would win the Royal Rumble, for a third time, and go on to Wrestlemania 12 to challenge Bret Hart for the WWF Title. It’s made me to start believe again man, to believe in myself, to believe in Hulkamania, to believe that maybe I do still have it in me, maybe I can become the WWF Champion for a 6th time and I still have some gas in the tank.


But in order to find that out, in order to truly know if I do, I have to face Steve Austin, I have to face Steve Austin one on one in the ring, and I have to beat him, I have to pin him, I have to prove to Austin, to the world and most importantly myself, that I deserve to be in the ring with the best. Austin may be a rattlesnake, he may be everything that Hulkamania is against, but he is also one of the best wrestlers in the world today, if he wasn’t he wouldn’t be in the WWF and he wouldn’t be in the spot he is in now. I have to beat Austin, because if I can’t beat Austin, I don’t deserve to be in the Main Event at Wrestlemania 12, I don’t deserve the chance to challenge for the WWF Title.

Vince McMahon: Then, what...what are you saying?


Hulk Hogan: When you ask that question, it makes me sweat. Sitting here, and this chills me to the bone, but Vince I am going to say this now for you, for Austin and everyone else to hear, Steve Austin, if you beat me this Sunday Night at The Main Event, California Clash, if you beat me Austin, then that will be my last match ever in the World Wrestling Federation, I will walk out of that ring and I won’t return, and it will be you who goes on to Wrestlemania 12 to challenge for the WWF Title. But Austin, in order for you to do that, in order for you to put me out once and for all, you are going to have to bring everything you got, and then some. You are going to have to be 10 times the man you claim to be, 10 times tougher than you claim to be, and ten times more ruthless than you have ever shown to be, because that’s what I am going to be. I am taking it all Austin, all the joy and happiness, all the pain and heartbreak, everything that has happened to me in that ring for nearly 20 years and I am balling it up and directing it straight at you. This is the biggest test of my career, and I am going to pass it Austin, or I am going to walk away once and for all.

Now I would like to bring in at this time, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (Split screen appears with Ross on one side and Austin on the other backstage)Mr. Austin, I am sure you were listening to what Hulk Hogan had to say, do you have anything to say in response?


Steve Austin: YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I GOT A RESPONSE!!!! First of all, why is Hulk Hogan sitting in some comfy studio somewhere else, while I am out here? Why does he get to stay home and train for the match this Sunday Night while I gotta be traveling to all the shows and wrestling every night? What makes Hulk Hogan so damn special? Now, let me say this son, it takes a helluva man to admit that he might not have it anymore, and that’s just what Hogan did. Now I don’t like Hogan one damn bit, and I don’t have that much respect for the man either, but I’ll say this, Hogan, you say if I beat you, you’ll walk away and give me your title shot at Wrestlemania. Well then Hogan, if you beat me, if you pin my shoulders to the mat one, two, three, then right there in the middle of that ring I’ll shake your hand!! If you can come back from that beating I gave you last year and beat me in the middle of the ring, well I still won’t like you, but I’ll respect you. But that ain’t gonna happen, because “Stone Cold”Steve Austin is the man he says he is, and on your best day you couldn’t put me down for the three count, AND THAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE, CAUSE STONE COLD SAID SO!!!!

Ross and Lawler discuss what both Austin and Hogan had to say about their upcoming match, while they do so Owen Hart’s music plays as he and The British Bulldog, along with Jim “The Anvil” Neidhardt make their way down to the ring for the Arm Wrestling Challenge between The Bulldog and Road Warrior Animal!!!

Legion of Doom Theme

That music can only mean one thing as the WWF Tag Team Champions, The Legion of Doom make their way to the ring. They get up on the corners and pose for the crowd. They drop down and take off their shoulder pads, leaving them on the mat.

ARM WRESTLING CHALLENGE;
THE BRITISH BULLDOG VS. ROAD WARRIOR ANIMAL

Referee Tim White gives both men their instructions as they step up to the arm wrestling table that has been put in the ring. They start to lock up to begin, but Bulldog pulls away to get more powder, a second attempt to lock up and again Bulldog pulls away, Owen tells the Road Warriors to wait, Animal and Hawk are getting restless and bark at Bulldog. Finally Bulldog and Animal lock up, Bulldog gets the early adavantage, Animal looks like he might lose but fights back, they are back to a neutrial position, Animal starts to get the advantage, Bulldog fights back and gets it back ot a neutral position, Bulldog once again gets the advantage and almost pins Animal down, but Animal gets a surge and powers all the way back up and past the neutrial position!!! Animal is about to pin Bulldog’s arm down when Owen attacks Hawk and The Anvil attacks Animal from behind drawing a DQ!!!

Winner: Road Warrior Animal via DQ

Bulldog turns the table over and The Hart Foundation beats on the Road Warriors, Bulldog tosses Animal outside of the ring and the two fight up the aisle, meanwhile in the ring, Owen and The Anvil have Road Warrior Hawk down and keep him there when Anvil lifts and bashes him with the Arm Wrestling table, throwing it on him!!! Owen keeps kicking at Hawk while The Anvil makes a move for the Road Warriors’ shoulder pads. Ross wonders what the Anvil is going to do?? Anvil takes one of the spikes off the shoulder pads and JAMS IT IN HAWK’S HEAD!!!! BLOOD IS POURING FROM HAWK’S HEAD!!!! ANIMAL PUSHES PAST BULLDOG, GRABS A CHAIR AND CLEARS THE RING!!!! THE DAMAGE IS DONE!!! ANIMAL COVERS HIS PARTNER AS BLOOD IS EVERYWHERE!!!! MEDICS AND OTHER WRESTLERS RUSH TO THE RING TO CHECK ON HAWK AS THE HART FOUNDATION MAKE THEIR WAY TO THE BACK!!!!

Ross is still in shock at what The Hart Foundation did to Hawk!!! The mat is stained red with blood, but we still have the main event to go!! As he and Lawler start to talk about it, WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart’s music plays and “The Hitman” makes his way down to the ring to join the commentary team!!! Hart shakes Ross’ hand but doesn’t say anything to Lawler. Hart says he is here to get a closer look at his partner for this Sunday as well as at The Wolfpac.

Razor Ramon Theme

Ramon’s music begins to play and out he comes, with Diesel and The Kid flanking him!!! The climb into the ring and pose, Ramon asks for a microphone.


Razor Ramon: HEY YO!!! I got some, uh, business to take care of here tonight, but uh, the Big Mang, he gots somethin to say!!


Diesel:I have to address something I heard earlier tonight, it seems that Hulk Hogan has announced that if he doesn’t beat Steve Austin this Sunday Night, then it’ll be Austin who gets the Wrestlemania title shot. Well I got news for everyone, the only person who is going to Wrestlemania for a title shot is “Big Daddy Cool”. I don’t care if Austin wins, I don’t care if Hogan wins, for all I care they can take each other out, it doesn’t matter, cause the only thing that is going to happen on Sunday Night that anyone should care about is that I am going to pin Bret Hart in the middle of the ring, I am going to pin his shoulders to the mat and then, it won’t matter who won the Royal Rumble, because the WWF won’t have a choice but to give me a title shot.


Bret at the broadcast booth says that isn’t going to happen.

Shawn Michaels Titantron entrance 1997-2003

Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring, Bret asks how anyone can take Shawn seriously with the way he dresses and carries on. Shawn comes by the broadcast table and gets into an argument with Bret telling him to stay seated at the table and not to get involved, Bret and Shawn argue for a moment before Shawn heads up the ring, Ross and Lawler can’t see how they are going to work together on Sunday, Bret says Shawn will just need to stay out of the way and everything will be fine.

RAZOR RAMON W/THE KID & DIESEL VS. SHAWN MICHAELS

Lock up to start, Razor grabs a standing headlock, but Shawn elbows out, he runs the ropes, Shawn ducks a round house right, he ducks a back elbow, he baseball slides between Razor’s legs, pops up behind him and dropkicks Razor as he turns around!!! Razor falls back into the ropes, Shawn fires off chops, he tries to whip Razor into the ropes, Razor blocks it and pulls Shawn into a short arm clothesline!!! Razor tries to atomic drop Shawn, but Shawn flips out of it!! Shawn grabs a waist lock, Razor fights Shawn off with elbows, big right hand from Razor floors Shawn!!! Another big right sends Shawn flying into the corner, Razor unloads with rights on Shawn in the corner, he whips him to the opposite side, Shawn hits the corner hard and flips completely out of the ring!!!! The Kid hovers over Shawn, but the referee tells him to get lost!!! Razor rolls out of the ring and throws Shawn back in. Razor works a headlock on the mat, Shawn slowly fights to his feet, he breaks the headlock and runs the ropes, Razor ducks a running clothesline and drops his head for a backdrop but Shawn catches him with a swinging neckbreaker!!!


Shawn pulls Razor up and slams his head into the turnbuckle!! He unloads on Razor with knife edge chops!! He tries to whip Razor into the other corner, but Razor reverses it!!! Shawn leaps onto the second turnbuckle and jumps off with a crossbody, but Razor catches him!!! Razor then hits the Fallaway Slam!!!! Razor makes a cover!!!

Ramon goes back to the headlock on the mat. Shawn fights his way up again, he backs Ramon into the ropes and fires him off, Ramon ducks a clothesline, Shawn leapfrogs Razor and then Shawn connects with a body block!!!

RAZOR KICKS OUT!!!!


Shawn pulls Razor to his feet, Razor rakes Shawn’s eyes!!! Razor then decks Shawn with a right hand!!! He pulls Shawn to his feet by his hair and then locks him in an abdominal stretch!!! While the referee is checking with Shawn, Razor is getting added leverage from The Kid outside of the ring. Bret finally has enough of all the cheating and leaves the broadcast position to deck the Kid from behind!!! Bret whips The Kid into the guardrail as Diesel rounds the corner and attacks Bret!!!! Diesel and Bret start to brawl!! Inside the ring Ramon has released Shawn, he slides out of the ring to help Diesel beat on Bret!!! The referee is yelling at them to break it up!!! Shawn runs the ropes and hits a suicide dive over the top rope and onto Bret, Diesel and Razor!!! The referee calls for the bell throwing the match out!!!

Winner:NO CONTEST!

Everyone is out on the floor as Raw goes off the air and Vince yells for us not to miss The Main Event!!!!!!

- Hunter Hearst Helmsely with “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase opens up the show by defeating the 500 plus pound Yokozuna after Yoko loses his balance when attempting a Banzai Drop. During the match European Champion Jake “The Snake” Roberts made his way down to the ring to stop Ted Dibiase from interfering in the match. After the match Hunter motioned to Roberts that he wanted the European Championship

-WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart teamed with “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels to face Diesel and Razor Ramon with The Kid. Diesel and Ramon worked well as a team while Michales and Bret argued the entire time, refusing to tag each other and constantly making blind tags. it comes to a head when Shawn saves Bret from a double team. Bret doesn’t like that and shoves Shawn, Shawn shoves Bret back and Bret spits in Shawn’s face! Shawn then superkicks Bret and leaves him to be Jackknifed and pinned by Diesel.

-Michael Hayes catches up with Shawn Michaels as he comes through the curtain, Shawn calls Bret a selfish jerk, he says he just had to fight Diesel, Ramon and his own partner. Shawn says he is done with it, he is done with Bret, he is done with Diesel, with Ramon and that greasy brat The Kid. All Shawn cares about is winning the WWF Title, and he’ll kick the teeth down anyone’s throat that gets in his way.

- The Undertaker with Paul Bearer challenges for the Intercontinental Championship next against Jeff Jarrett who has Debra with him, but also, for one night only, Jimmy Hart. Even with The Mouth in the South in his corner, Jarrett is totally outmatched. He tries everything he can but can’t defeat Taker. The Undertaker chokeslams Jarrett and is setting him up for a Tombstone Piledriver when The Giant comes down to the ring, but instead of getting in the ring to attack Taker, he instead attacks Paul Bearer!! Taker gets out of the ring, but isn’t quick enough to stop The Giant from chokeslamming Paul Bearer!! Taker is counted out as he carries Bearer to the locker room!

- Michael Hayes catches up with WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart who says if HBK wants a title shot, FINE, he’s got it! In two weeks when Raw returns to the air, Bret wants HBK in the ring with the WWF Title on the line, so he can break that punk once and for all.

-Owen Hart and The British Bulldog with Jim “The Anvil” Neidhardt defeats the WWF Tag Team Champions The Road Warriors when referee Jimmy Cordaris stops the match due to blood loss on the part of Hawk and awards the match and the titles to Owen and Bulldog. Hawk came to the ring with his eye heavily bandaged from the spike attack on Raw. Owen and Bulldog targetted the wound the whole match to bust it open more and more. They couldn’t pin Hawk though. Hawk was trapped in a Bearhug by Bulldog and had just broken out of it when the referee called for the bell to stop the match. Cordaris claimed that he did so for Hawk’s safety because he was a complete crimson mask, but the Road Warriors weren’t buying it. Owen and Bulldog took their stolen titles and ran away while the Road Warriors grabbed the Cordaris and gave HIM a Doomsday Device!!!!

- Todd Pettingill talks to WWF CEO Shane McMahon who agrees to sign the WWF Title match for when Raw returns in two weeks, he also says he is suspending the Road Warriors for attacking the referee in their match. The Wolfpac shows up and Diesel is not happy, he says he just pinned Bret, Shawn didn’t do it, he did it, and if Shane is giving anyone a title shot before Wrestlemania it should be Diesel. Shane doesn’t back down and says that Shawn gets the shot. Diesel says it isn’t going to happen.


-In a match almost a year in the making the man who won the Royal Rumble, 5 time WWF Champion Hulk Hogan faces the man who ran him out of the WWF last year, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Hogan vowed to leave the WWF and give his title shot to Steve Austin if he lost, Austin swore he would shake Hogan’s hand if Hogan was man enough to beat him in the middle of the ring. The two men beat each other up the entire match, after agreeing beforehand to make this a NO DQ match. They let it all hang out, fighting into the crowd, in the aisle way, Hogan slammed Austin through the Spanish Announce table, Austin clocked Hogan with the ring bell. Hogan survived 2 Stone Cold Stunners while Austin survived 2 leg drops, but in the end it was a third leg drop from Hogan that gave him the three count and the win over his nemesis. Austin seemed to be in disbelief, and rolled out of the ring where he tossed a chair and kicked the ring steps. He finally got back into the ring and offered his hand to Hogan. Hogan took it and Austin quickly shook him hand and gave Hogan a nod. Austin then left the ring as Hogan celebrated, pointing to the Wrestlemania XII sign as fireworks went off.

Monday Night Raw 2/18/96

-No show as the USA Network instead decided to air the Westminster Dog Show, though ads for next weeks Raw played several times hyping the Bret Hart-Shawn Michaels match. Backstage the WWF was seeing a massive power struggle as Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Diesel/Shawn Michaels pulled their crews together and all tried to influence what would happen in the company. The split was very profound, Bret had the support of Davey, Owen, Pillman, Sunny and Neidhardt, Hogan had Jimmy Hart, The Giant, European Champion Jake Roberts and The Godwins taking his side, while Diesel and Shawn Micahels had the support of Razor Ramon, XPac,The Smoking Gunns, Marty Jannetty and Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Another group, headed up by The Undertaker and Yokozuna counted Fatu, Kama, Mabel, Savio Vega, The Road Warriors, and Bob Holly as supporters, but they didn’t seem to care about politicking for the WWF Title as much as they cared about taking care of the jobs of their midcard brethren.

The fight centered around the WWF Title and what would happen at Wrestlemania and beyond. Bret of course wanted to hold onto the title, while Hogan wanted to win it at Wrestlemania, Shawn and Diesel wanted Shawn to win the title before Wrestlemaina or after Wrestlemania and pitched a year long feud between Shawn and Diesel. After a week of meetings, and heated arguments, one that ended with Bret and Shawn coming to actual blows backstage before a house show in Wheeling, West Virginia that sent Shawn out of the building and caused the rest of his crew to walk out forcing the WWF to totally redo the show, a compromise seemed to be reached, brokered by Undertaker and Yokozuna that Hogan, Bret, Shawn and Diesel seemed to agree to.

Monday Night Raw 2/25/96

- Show opens with what is supposed to be Shawn Michaels challenging for the WWF Title against Bret “The Hitman” Hart, but before Shawn could get to the ring he was attacked in the Gorilla Position by the Wolfpac, with Diesel Jackknifing Shawn through a table.

-Shawn had to be taken to a local hospital with concussion like symptoms, WWF CEO Shane McMahon was about to toss the Wolfpac out of the building when Bret intervened. Bret said that the fans were promised a WWF Title match and they were going to get it. Bret says he knows he is never going to be able to defend the title until he takes Diesel down a notch a two, so tonight, if Shawn can’t go, Bret will give Diesel the title shot, and kick his ass!!!

-Brian Pillman defeats Jesse James Armstrong in a match where Armstrong showed allot of fire. Ross says that Armstrong is that close to getting his big break and then he is going to be able to ride it far. Pillman was a total nutjob as usual and McMahon wonders why no one has locked Pillman up in the nut house yet?!?

-A video plays for Rocky Maivia. It shows Rocky working out in a gym, pushing himself farther and farther, mixed in are shots of his grandfather Peter Maivia and his father Rocky Johnson wrestling in the WWF. In a voice over Rocky says he has allot to live up to, he got a small taste of the WWF last year, but then he hit the road to become better, to improve so that he could fully live up to his family's legacy, he says he is coming back to the WWF soon and when he does he is going to show the World what he can do.

-Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett along with Debra defeated Marty Jannetty in a back and forth battle when he hit the Tennessee Leg Sweep (The Stoke) for the win. Jarrett began to strut after the match until the lights went out! When they came back on The Undertaker was in the ring and chokeslammed Jarrett!! Taker then demanded a microphone and called out The Giant for injuring Paul Bearer. Taker says that the time has come for them to finish this war and challenges The Giant to a Casket Match next week on RAW!!!


-Vince McMahon is standing in the ring and invites out Hulk Hogan!!! Vince congratulates Hogan on defeating “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Hogan thanks Vince and says Austin gave him the fight of his life and he wouldn’t be surprised if Austin does one day become the WWF Champion. Hogan says after everything he respects Austin’s skills in the ring, and says Austin was a man of his word at Cali Clash. Hogan says now that he can close that chapter , he can move onto the next one at that’s Wrestlemania XII and his shot at the WWF Title!!! Hogan says he believes he can become the 6 time WWF Champion. Vince asks Hogan about the Wolfpac and what happened earlier tonight, Hogan says the Wolfpac is a dangerous group and they won’t stop until Diesel has the WWF Title. Vince asks about Hogan’s feeling on Bret defending the title against Shawn Michaels, Hogan says he has no problem with it, no matter what he gets his title match at Wrestlemania, and whether it is against Bret Hart, whether it is against Shawn Michaels or even if it is against Diesel, Hogan feels sure the power of Hulkamania will shine through once more and bring home the WWF Title for a 6th time!!!


- WWF Tag Team Champion Owen Hart and The British Bulldog teamed with Jim Neidhardt to defeat the team of Yokozuna, European Champion Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Savio Vega when The Bulldog pinned Vega after a running powerslam. During the match it was announced that the Road Warriors would return from their suspension next week and would face Owen and The Bulldog in a rematch for the tag titles at Wrestlemaina.Also during the match, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Ted Dibiase had a cut in promo where Dibiase and Hunter challenged Roberts to meet Hunter at Wrestlemania for the European Championship.




-Before the Main Event begins, Vince announces that The Giant has agreed to face The Undertaker next week in a Casket Match here on Raw!!!


- Diesel challenges for the WWF Title against Bret “The Hitman” Hart to close out the show. Vince notes that we are already 5 minutes over when the match begins and thanks the USA Network for allowing them to stay on the air and bring you this match saying the WWF will never cut off in the middle of a match.

Diesel and Bret battle all over the ring and ringisde. Referee Earl Hebner ejected the Wolfpac from ringside before the match began. The momentum shifts several times with both men trying to find a way to land that knock out punch. Bret and Diesel keep trading punches, holds and control until Diesel clocks Bret with a big boot to the jaw, followed up quickly by a sidewalk slam. Diesel drops the straps and calls for the Jackknife, Lawler is giddy with excitement that Bret’s close to one year reign could end right here and now, Ross says if Diesel connects with the Jackknife it will!!! Just then, SHAWN MICHAELS APPEARS FROM THE CROWD!!! SHAWN JUMPS THE RAILING!!! LAWLER IS SCREAMING ASKING WHAT SHAWN IS DOING HERE!!! SHAWN SLIDES INTO THE RING!!!! DIESEL TOSSES BRET ASIDE AND CHARGES SHAWN, SHAWN DUCKS DIESEL !!!
