The program opens in a room with several dignitaries, including Fritz Von Erich, and Tatsumi Fujinami, seated at a table. A crowded press corps waits patiently. Fritz Von Erich speaks.
Fritz, “My name is Fritz Von Erich, and I am the President of World Wrestling International. Intense negotiations have gone on for several weeks. On May 19, at Texas Stadium in Arlington, we will present the second ‘David Von Erich Parade of Champions’. We have previously announced that Tatsumi Fujinami will defend the World Title at Texas Stadium. After several hours of discussion we have a challenger”
Kerry Von Erich walks out, and the press begins to shout questions. Fritz quiets them.
Fritz, “We will answer questions at the end of the press conference. Let’s get a picture of Kerry and the Champion.”.
Fujinami comes around the table. He and Kerry pose for pictures. The last one features them shaking hands. Both men refuse to release the other. They step close to one another. Fritz, and others, separate the two.
We go to Bill Mercer.
Mercer, “WOW! Kerry vs. the Dragon Man! Both men will be in action today. We have non-title Tag Team match. If the Midnight Rockers beat the Champions, they will get a title shot. We will also talk to the Darkness man Kevin Sullivan. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
Sgt Slaughter w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Jose Estrada
The former Marine drill sergeant takes on the veteran from New York City. Slaughter attacks at the bell. He overpowers Estrada. Slaughter hammers away st Jose. Estrada is game, but Slaughter is too much. He clamps on the cobra clutch. Estrada is out.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan Vs. Frank Marconi
Duggan continues to draw the fans in, especially the ladies. Hacksaw is very sharp. He uses his strength and gets a two count on Marconi. Frank tries to mount a comeback, but he can’t. Duggan hits him with the spear, and Marconi is out..

Tom Zenk vs. Ted Grizzly
Zenk is a newcomer to WWI. He is youngster from Minnesota, with a powerful physique. He gives up size to Grizzly. Ted tries to use his size. Zenk combats this with his speed. Tom hits several dropkicks, and Grizzly is stunned. The match continues until Zenk hits a high crossbody for the win.

Ken Patera w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Mike Reed
The powerful Patera shocked everyone by signing on with Akbar. Patera overpowers Reed. He is vicious, and he toys with Reed. Patera clamps on the full Nelson, and Reed quickly submits.

Marc Lowrance is with Kevin Sullivan.
Lowrance, “With me is the ‘‘Master of Darkness’ Kevin Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan, you have taken WWI by storm.”
Sullivan, “When the Chairman of the Board sent me into the void, he told me to find the best competition on planet Earth, and then he told me to destroy anything in my path! He sent me to the Ganges River, and temples on their banks. I chewed on the betal nut, and I Saw the future. I saw my self leading the Army of Darkness through the wrestling world! I saw Darkness engulfing the world! Next week, you will see what the monks gave me, it will strike fear into everyone! Darkness will engulf the World!”
Lowrance, “What are you going to show us?”
Sullivan, “Lowrance, my secret will be revealed...next week!”

Kerry Von Erich vs. The Assassin
The crowd explodes when Kerry comes to the ring. We know he will challenge Tatsumi Fujinami at the Parade of Champions. Kerry goes right after the masked man. He uses his strength to control the action. The masked man tries all the dirty tricks he knows, but the “Modern Day Warrior” is too much. He clamps on the Von Erich iron claw, and it’s over.
Winner-Kerry Von Erich
Marc Lowrance is with Jim Cornette, Big Bubba Rogers, and the Midnight Express.
Lowrance, “With me are Jim Cornette, Big Bubba Rogers, and the Midnight Express. Mr. Cornette, your team meets the Midnight Rockers. If they beat you, they get a title shot. Are your men ready?”
Cornette, “Who are you Jimmy Olsen? Are you breaking stories for Perry White at the Daily Planet? We know what tonight means, Those Two punks, and what’s this rock and roll thing? I like good music like Barry Manilow! Those two punks think they can beat Dennis, and Bobby, don’t make me laugh! My men are in peak physical condition, I’ve seen to that. This is light work for us. We’ll beat them, and move on!”
Lowrance, “As usual, Mr. Cornette is very confident, but his men can back him up.”

Non-Title Match
Tatsumi Fujinami (World Champion) vs. S.D. Jones
This will be a clash of styles. The match begins with a handshake. Jones starts fast. He gains the early edge. The World Champion has been around, and he weathers the storm. Fujinami takes over, he hits the Dragon suplex, and goes for the Dragon sleeper. Jones is out. The Dragon is ready for Kerry.

The Midnight Express (World Tag Team Champion) w/James E. Cornette and Big Bubba Rogers vs. The Midnight Rockers
Cornette takes the mic from Marc Lowrance.
Cornette, “Let me do this, Lowrance, some of these words are too big for you. Let me introduce, the World Tag Team Champions, Loverboy Dennis, and Beautiful Bobby, the Midnight Express,!”
Bronko Lubich is your referee. Eaton and Michaels open the contest. These are two of the best in the wrestling business, and they show it. They trade holds and counter holds. Both men get nearfalls. Condry tags in, and tries to rough up Shawn. Michaels is in trouble, but he is able to tag in Jannetty. Marty’s is a house afire. He sends Condry to the floor. Eaton runs in, but is sent to the floor as well. Cornette consoles his men. They return to the ring, and the match continues. All four men end up in the ring. Cornette climbs up on the ring apron. Jannetty whips Condry into Cornette. He falls to the arena floor. Condry staggers into the ring, and Jannetty rolls him up. Lubich counts 1...2...3! The Midnight Rockers win! They get a title shot! The Express check on their manager. Michaels takes the mic.
Michaels, “We get a title shot, and we want it...at the ‘Parade of Champions’!”
The crowd explodes. Cornette is still in a daze, but the title match has been set!

Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “WOW! The Midnight Rockers vs. the Midnight Express at the Parade of Champions! WWI is heating up! Join us next week, Kevin Sullivan says he has a surprise for us. What can that mean? We have a Jr. Heavyweight Title match in our main event, Tiger Mask will defend against the Mexican star Cien Caras. Don’t miss this one!”
