MICHAEL ST. JOHN: (voice over) From the capital of the wrestling world, St. Louis, Missouri, it's MIDWEST CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING! For the next 60 minutes, you'll see the best action that pro wrestling has to offer! Now, down to ringside and your hosts, Michael St. John and wrestling great, Johnny Weaver!
We cut to Weaver and St. John at ringside.
ST.JOHN: Welcome to a new era in professional wrestling! Johnny Weaver, we have some great matches and some of the top wrestlers in the world!
WEAVER: That's very true, Michael! To start things off, we need to introduce the fans to the man who invited me to be a part of Midwest Championship Wrestling! A man who really needs no introduction at the Chase Hotel or anywhere else in the wrestling world!
ST. JOHN: He is the President of Midwest Championship Wrestling...the World's Most Dangerous Wrestler... a legend all over the world: DICK THE BRUISER!!!
The Bruiser comes out to a standing ovation! They've always loved this man in St. Louis!
BRUISER: Thank you! This is why I always jumped at the chance whenever Sam Muchnick would ask me to come to St. Louis! The greatest wrestling fans anywhere! This new promotion is gonna have some great wrestlers and great matches! We have some of the hottest young talent anywhere and we got some guys I used to mix it up with during my glory days! Two big announcements: March 17th at the Kiel, we'll have a big tournament for the Midwest Heavyweight Title and on March 24th in Kemper Arena in KC, we'll have a tournament for the Midwest Tag Team Titles! We're bringing red hot wrestling excitement to Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky! We might even hit Michigan and Ohio before we're done! Don't miss it when we come to your hometown!
WEAVER: Dick, we have a great match up in the ring!
BRUISER: They didn't tune in to see my ugly mug or hear my raspy voice! Let's get it on!
ST. JOHN: Randy Hales is ready with the introductions!
BLACK BART vs. KENDALL WINDHAM:
Bart is one tough customer and he takes it right to his somewhat undersized opponent. Windham uses his speed and skill to frustrate his brawling opponent. The ten minute time limit expires without a pinfall or submission and we have a draw! Bart is visibly frustrated by this result and yells “Hey, Ollie!” after the bout. Look who's coming to ringside!
It's Sir Oliver Humperdink! He's carrying something in his hands and he passes the object to Black Bart in the ring!
It's a branding iron! Bart has a branding iron and he's going to use it to do some bodily harm to young Kendall Windham!
The crowd roars! Somebody hits the ring!
It's Mark Youngblood! The fiery Mescolero Apache brave runs wild on Bart! After several chops, Bart and his branding iron go sprawling through the ropes and down to the floor! Youngblood and Windham embrace and stand tall together as Humperdink leads Bart away from the ring! First, Bart stops to speak to St. John and Weaver!
BART: If you think that me and the House of Humperdink is gonna put up with this kind of dadgum nonsense, you got another thing comin'! That dadgum Apache had no call stickin' his nose in my business! If Dick The Bruiser or whoever runs this dadgum TV gives me a match with that savage next week, I'll show the dadgum world who's the boss in Midwest Championship Wrestling!
WEAVER: Youngblood is challenging you to get into the ring right now!
BART: Next week, dadgum it! Right here on this TV!
ST. JOHN: I'm sure that we can get that signed!

“POLISH POWER” IVAN PUTSKI VS. JAY “THE ALASKAN” YORK
York uses every dirty trick in the book, but none of it seems to phase Putski! Ivan comes back fist and fire. Putski nails the Alaskan with the Polish Hammer and scores an easy pin! After Randy Hales announces Ivan as winner, he grabs the microphone!
PUTSKI: You fans are great! I'm so happy to be here that I wanna sing! One and two and here we go!

ZAMBUIE EXPRESS(ELIJAH AKEEM & KAREEM MUHAMMAD VS. BRICKHOUSE BROWN & BOBO BRAZIL
Tha Zambuies are accompanied by Oliver Humperdink. The announce team gushes over how great Bobo is, but the Zambuie Express shows him no respect whatsoever as they attempt to destroy the all time great. Brickhouse uses his speed to keep things interesting, but he ends up getting tied in the ropes as the Express takes turns splashing Brazil! It looks really bad for Bobo, but then, somebody hits the ring like a thunderbolt!
Weaver recognizes the newcomer immediately...MASTER G!!! Master G, slugs both Muhammad and Akeem and knocks them to the mat! Humperdink attempts to intervene and just misses getting blasted by Master G! Master G is standing tall! Master G, Brazil, & Brown join Michael St. John at ringside!
ST. JOHN: It was obvious that the Zambuie Express was trying to do permanent damage to their opponents! Master G, it's a good thing you came along when you did!
MASTER G: I have been chasing those two lowlifes all over this country and I finally tracked 'em here to Midwest Wrestling! They don't care about sportsmanship or competition, they just want to hurt people! Now that they are Humperdink's payroll, they'll be worse! Bobo, I've looked up to you for many, many years! Brickhouse, we've met before and I think you're one of the guys who will take our sport into the next century! If either of you brothers need Master G, I'll be right there!
BOBO: My ribs feel bad right now, but you can guarantee that Brazil won't forget this! Humperdink, I'll get my hands on you and your two goons!
BROWN: Master G, I got a great idea! Let's go talk to the promoter and see if you and me can get a piece of those creeps right here next week!
MASTER G: That sounds like a plan to me, Brick!
ST. JOHN: Next week's program is shaping up to be a big one!

DINO BRAVO VS. KEITH ERIC:
Dick The Bruiser joins St. John & Weaver on commentary. Bruiser talks about what a great coup it was to sign a superstar like Bravo for Midwest. Weaver goes overboard in his praise of Dino. The poular Canadian looks like a million bucks today, dismantling his opponent and scoring a pin following an airplane spin.

ST. JOHN: I'm here with Sir Oliver Humperdink. It's been a really busy day for you. You are obviously associated with Black Bart and the Zambuie Express, but we're about to look at a music video on a man who might be the most unusual wrestler I've ever seen.
HUMPERDINK: Of course, you speak of the Missing Link! He is unique and he is devastating! I want all of the wrestlers who might be thinking of crossing the House of Humperdink: The Mark Youngbloods, the Master Gs, the Bobo Brazils, and, yes, the Ivan Putskis to watch this presentation very closely! The Missing Link is coming and he will destroy whoever I instruct him to destroy! Be very afraid!

IRON MIKE SHARPE VS. TERRY ADONIS
Iron Mike insists on being introduced as “Canada's Greatest Athlete”. Our announce team says Dino Bravo might dispute that claim. Sharpe batters Adonis, particulary with his leather arm brace, before putting him away with a piledriver.
A familiar figure to St. Louis fans makes his way to the ring...Bulldog Brown climbs onto the apron and raises Sharpe's hand!
After the match, we cut to the dressing room area where one of the participants in our Main Event is standing by...
TYLER: My name is Buzz Tyler. They call me “Avalanche” Buzz Tyler. Today, here on Midwest Championship Wrestling, I get to wrestle this Russian named Alexis Smirnoff. Like all of you good folks watching me on TV right now, I'm proud of my country and it makes me mad when anybody runs it down! Especially when it's some Russian!This Smirnoff has made a bunch of remarks about how the Soviet Union is supposably better than us! Well, son, this ol' South Carolina boy is gonna do everything I can to shut your filthy mouth!
Now to another dressing room....
SMIRNOFF: In this country, everybody is biased against Soviet Union! We do not come to Olympics in your country because we know it would not be fair!You cannot beat superior Soviet athlete without all sorts of conspiracies. I know that this Buzz Tyler will break every rule in this Main Event today. That is your American way! So, I called Moscow and asked them to send comrade to watch my back as you Americans say. The Kremlin sent me the best man for the job! A true comrade, Boris Zhukov!
ZHUKOV: Thank you, Comrade Smirnoff! This Buzz Tyler looks more like a gorilla than a professional athlete! In Soviet Union, he would be sweeping sidewalks or cleaning out trash cans! After you humiliate him, he may never show his face on television again!

MAIN EVENT: “AVALANCHE” BUZZ TYLER VS. ALEXIS SMIRNOFF:
Smirnoff stands in the ring. Boris Zhukov is at ringside, waving the Soviet flag. The fans chant “USA”. We hear...
Buzz Tyler makes his way to the ring as the fans clap to the music. A few even dance as Buzz comes out. Tyler is obviously fired up, but he is immediately at a disadvatage as Smirnoff attacks him as he enters the ring! Smirnoff uses every dirty trick in the book and then he writes a few new chapters in the book! Zhukov sneaks in some interference whenever he cans and it looks bad for Buzz. The “USA” chant reaches incredible levels and inspires a Tyler comeback! Buzz hits the Avanlanche slam and scores an amazing win! After the match, Zhukov enters the ring and jumps Tyler! Buzz hits the Avalanche Slam on Boris, too! Both Russians crawl out of the ring and slink out of the building as Buzz boogies to his music!
