World Champ Greg Valentine is here with manager Fabulous Moolah. Steve Stack informs the champ that he has a special message from a wrestler that calls himself the Masked Texan, let’s hear from him:
A videotaped message from a masked wrestler in a suit!
“Mr. Greg Valentine congratulations on winning the most prestigious of all championships, the Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship. Now, even though I personally have fallen short of winning a world title myself, I was planning on pursuing opportunities elsewhere. Until I got a tape of Championship Wrestling from Houston from a few weeks ago where you made some comments that insulted me because they insulted the great state of Texas. Let’s take a listen at some of them now, sir:
-Highlights of Valentine being interviewed backstage by Steve Stacks during TV shows in January where Valentine refers to Texas as being known for “two things”, another where he might have to retire because the cow dung from the air and dust is affecting his allergies, and a third clip where he brags his defeat over Dick Murdoch was the biggest defeat Texas ever had since the Alamo.
Masked Texan: “Mr. Valentine, I think I speak for not only Texas, but fans in Louisiana and Mississippi when I say we don’t appreciate how you represent us as a champion, and on March 17 in San Antonio, the very city that is the home of the Alamo that you disgraced, I’d like to challenge you for that championship belt. If you say no, trust you me, by March 17 sir I will convince you that I am a more than a worthy challenger to your belt!
We are back and Valentine and Moolah are apoplectic. Valentine does not understand why he has to defend his belt against an unknown and HE will determine himself who is qualified to challenge for his title in San Antonio not some masked big talker.

World Tag Team champions Nickolai Volkoff and Baron Von Raschke with Larry Sharpe state their disgust at the lack of respect from the wrestling community, and complain about their ratings in Pro Wrestling Illustrated. They ask what more must they do to earn respect from the sport?
KENDO NAGASAKI w/Larry Sharpe stretches a game RICK MCGRAW with the Russians invading the ring and stomping a mudhole in poor Rick before MARK VAN HALEN AND SAM HOUSTON INVADE THE RING and make the save but as Mark and Sam check on Rick the Russians celebrate outside the ring like they made a statement!!!
