EXTREME WARFARE LIVE ON MTV!!!! 8/2/1996 YOUR HOST: JOEY STYLES
- Joey Styles and Vic Venom call ‘The Human Suplex Machine’ Taz, Paul Heyman and Team Taz down to the ring to open the show. Joey wants to know what the letter said that was delivered last week. Heyman says the letter said that Sabu is under new management, and is in the midst of a contract renegotiating with XPW, so he will not agree to a match with Taz unless his terms are met. Heyman says he’s been wrong about Sabu the whole time – it’s clear that Sabu is a coward! The crew leave the ring as both Venom and Styles speculate on what’s going on with Sabu?
- Super Crazy and Hakushi in an another incredible singles match, to determine the #1 contender for Jerry Lynn’s World Light Heavyweight Title. There are moon-saults, power-bombs, leaps and suplexes, but in the end Super Crazy reverses a top rope power-bomb into a frankensteiner to score the win. Super Crazy goes to help Hakushi up after the match, but Sonny Onoo shoos Crazy away. Hakushi looks on intensely as Super Crazy celebrates at ringside.
- Scott Hudson is standing by with Raven and announces that next week, it will be an odd match as The Eliminators team WITH The Pitbulls against Raven, Stevie Richards, Nova and the Blue Meanie right here on Extreme Warfare! Raven is cryptic as he says he is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to unite his Nest.
- Extreme Heavyweight Champion ‘The Franchise’ Shane Douglas (w/ Francine) defeats Balls Mahoney with the belly-to-belly suplex. Terry Gordy does commentary during the match and has a face-off with Douglas after the bout.
- Johnny Swinger is in the ring for our next match, when Judge Jeff Jones comes out to sentence him to DEATH!!!! Mike Awesome charges down and drills Swinger with a flying shoulder-block, and then power-bombs him to the ring floor. However, now Swinger’s scheduled opponent The Sandman charges out and now he is confronting Mike Awesome! Awesome charges, but Sandman drills with the cane – once, twice, three times! Blood is now flowing from Awesome, but he keeps coming. Now, wrestlers and officials flood the ring to separate these two! Awesome is hurling people aside, until Judge Jeff Jones convinces his to calm down.
- International Heavyweight Champion Vader defeats Vic Grimes of Da Baldies with a Vader Bomb off the second rope. The match also sees both The Public Enemy and The Gangstas brawl around ringside with DeVito and Angel, as Vader takes apart Grimes.
- The Eliminators tell Scott Hudson that they relish the chance to take out Raven’s Nest next week – and they’ll be happy to dole out Total Elimination to the Pitbulls as well!
- Doom and The Gangsgtas defeat The Public Enemy, Mike Whipwreck and Cactus Jack when Ron Simmons spears the hell out of Cactus Jack for the pin. Da Baldies try to get involved, but The Gangstas and Public Enemy take a break from fighting one another to brawl with Da Baldies on the ramp. Mikey tends to Cactus after the match, but Doom double-team him and spike-piledriver him in the ring.
IT’S TIME FOR THE PULP FICTION PROMOS:
Taz wants to know just when the former homicidal, suicidal, death-defying madman known as Sabu became the world’s biggest pussy?
Jerry Lynn sends a message to Super Crazy – he is impressed, but it still won’t be enough to take the gold!
The Pitbulls say they’ll take out both The Eliminators and Raven’s Nest right here next week.
The Sandman has had enough of Mike Awesome’s form of justice. He will deal out his own justice with his trusty Singapore cane.
Hakushi stares menacingly into the camera as Sonny Onoo promises that Super Crazy won the battle, but he’s not capable of winning the war.

- New Jack tells Scott Hudson that The Gangstas aren’t done with The Public Enemy yet. They both got rid of the poseurs, but now it’s down to the real teams from the street. He says The Gangstas have proved that they aren’t pussies like Doom are. New Jack says he won’t be happy until Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge are six feet under!
Match #7: Extreme World Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas with Francine defeats Terry Gordy with the belly-to-belly suplex to retain the gold. Gordy goes on a hell of a round, and it looks like he is ready for the pile-driver. Sean Morely charges down and dives into the ring, but Gordy sees it coming and greets him with right hands to the jaw. Gordy dumps Morely out to the floor, but turns right into a belly-to-belly suplex to steal the win! Douglas gloats with Francine and Morely on the floor, as the camera pans in on Gordy’s angry expression as the scene fades out.
