*John Tatum and Jack Victory debut as a team under the management of Playboy Christopher Love
*Dream Machine wins a match and looks to be starting to patch things up with Porkchop Cash.
*Randy Rose gets a victory but confronts The Wrestling Pro after doing so.
*Newcomer Jesse Barr wins a Battle Royal to become the Number One Contender for the Continental Heavyweight belt. Ron Fuller produces a briefcase containing $50,000. He plans to use it to entice Barr to join The Stud Stable and forfeit the title shot.
Stewart announces the next super card for Continental Wrestling Showcase will be on March 17, in Huntsville, Alabama, at the Von Braun Civic Center. It will be called St.Patrick's Plunder. Platt tells the fans to stay tuned for more action.
BREAK
*Dean Malenko/Joe Malenko b. Ric McCord/Ron Ritchie
The Malenkos wins a very competitive match. Stewart says these young man have a Russian heritage, as they are the sons of The Great Malenko. But, they are nothing like Smirnoff or Gordienko, which Platt remarks have left the territory. By the end of the match, the battling youngsters have won over the crowd.
BREAK
*Tony Anthony w/Sunshine b. Levi Banks
A video shows Tom Pritchard and Anthony eliminating themselves quickly in the recent Battle Royal. At ringside. Stewart tries to find out the nature of this rivalry. Sunshine stops the proceedings, telling the announcer to ask “Honest Tom” the next time you see HIM. The two members of Hot Stuff International leave in a huff.
BREAK
Ron Starr comes out, expecting to be given the Showcase Junior Heavyweight Title if Les Thornton is not cleared to wrestle here today. The former champ, Starr, is invoking his guaranteed rematch clause. At the desk, Platt has the dubious honor of telling the Rotten One that The Wrestling Pro has decided to allow Thornton the full 30 days between title shots stipulation that every champion can use. The doctors promise Les should be fully recovered by then. Starr is furious.
*Ron Starr b. Jerry Grey
Starr keeps a camel clutch locked on way past the bell. After letting go, he yells “Thornton” up until the commercial break.
BREAK
*Bobby Jaggers/Steve Doll b. Frank Monte/The Avenger.
Jaggers and Doll revel in the fact that Phil Hickerson and Dirty Rhodes, who changed their names under Tojo Yamamoto, have “flown the coop”. After looking at the team of Tatum and Victory in their win, Jaggers can’t stop laughing at Playboy Christopher Love. He says that Jethro Bodine on The Beverly Hillbillies was a better playboy that that “fat tub of lard” Christopher.
BREAK
*Doug Vines/Jeff Sword w/Izzy Slapowitz b. Mike Davis/Tommy Lane by DQ.
The Good Book comes back into play, with Lane being the recipient of Sword’s attack. Davis and Vines are fighting on the floor. Porkchop Cash comes out, grabs the book from Sword, and clobbers him with it. Weathers calls for the bell, giving the “W” to the hated Slapowitz team.
Cash is in the ring pleading his case to the ref, while a frustrated Mike Davis lets loose, at the desk. Fans cheer against him, Russians get cheered for, and the guys in the back think Tommy and I can’t get the job done “on our own”. What the heck is going on?
Earl Thomas Conley tells the fans to stop by next week.
