EXTREME WARFARE 5/3/1996 FROM THE OLYMPIC AUDITORIUM IN LOS ANGELES, CA!!!!!!!!
Joey Styles welcomes us to another edition of Extreme Warfare here on MTV as we begin the March towards Heatwave ’96, live on pay-per-view on June 30 from the Knight Center in Miami, Florida. Styles announces that tonight, we will see Vader attempt to bounce back from his loss at Barely Legal ’96 as he faces the International Heavyweight Champion Masa Chono. Plus, there will be no time limit tonight as Pulsar takes on Little Guido right here on Extreme Warfare.
However, Joey Styles begins tonight’s show by introducing the brand new Extreme Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas, his valet Francine and his two allies Bam Bam Bigelow and Sean Morely! The trio and their valet make their way out to the ring to the tune of ‘Perfect Strangers’ by Deep Purple. Joey first and foremost wants to know how Shane Douglas feels knowing that Sean Morely had a major hand in helping him win the Extreme World Heavyweight Title from Ron Simmons.
Shane Douglas tells Joey Styles that as usual, he is totally wrong. Sean Morely was simply an insurance policy to make sure Butch Reed didn’t interfere – which he tried to do! Morely then takes the microphone and says Douglas doesn’t need a lackey. He aligned with Shane and Bam Bam because he was sick of being treated like a joke around here. He won’t follow the company line anymore… if he wants something around here, he will take it! Douglas then tells Joey that what you see before is the most impressive faction in pro wrestling history. Better than the Four Horsemen! Better than those douchebags the Wolfpack! What you see before you is… The Triple Threat!
‘Enter Sandman’ then hits in the arena and out comes The Sandman and Chastity! Sandman stands on the ramp and says he doesn’t give a damn what those three assholes call themselves, Shane will always be the Dynamic Dude and Morely will always be Val Venis. Sandman says it’s high time he gets a shot at the Extreme Heavyweight Title and he wants that shot at Heawave ’96! This brings out XPW President Dory Funk Jr. as Douglas scoffs at defending against Sandman!
Dory Funk says he believes Sandman is in fact in line for a shot… so next week he will face former champion Raven in a #1 contender! The winner faces Shane Douglas at the PPV! Douglas doesn’t like that at all, as Funk moves on to announce that Dan ‘The Beast’ Severn will be here next week on Extreme Warfare for an exclusive in-ring interview with Joey Styles! Dory also says the XPW officials are hard at work trying to get Paul Heyman officially fired as executive producer. He expects more news on that in the coming weeks!
MATCH ONE
PULSAR
VS.
LITTLE GUIDO
NO TIME LIMIT
REFEREE: PEE WEE MOORE
Little Guido is out first and he has fellow FBI members ‘The Big Don’ Tommy Rich and Big Vito. Pulsar is out on his own again, but he is on guard and ready to pounce. These two lock-up at the bell and Guido backs Pulsar up to the ropes. Pulsar takes Guido down to the mat and dominates him with a series of arm-locks, but Guido scales out of it and drops Pulsar with a leg-sweep. Little Guido comes off the ropes and crushes Pulsar with a knee drop!
Little Guido pulls Pulsar up and snap suplexes him back down to the mat. Little Guido picks Pulsar up again and then plants him with a full nelson suplex. Guido goes up to the second rope and leaps off with an elbow drop, but Pulsar moves at the last second! Little Guido hits the mat with a thud and Pulsar rolls over to the ropes and pulls himself up.
Guido has gotten back his feet and he goes for a clothesline, but Pulsar ducks behind and hooks him with a German Suplex! Pulsar pulls him back up with the arms still hooked and drops him with a Northern Lights Suplex! Pulsar’s not done and he pulls Guido back up and drops him with a third Tiger Suplex, this time releasing him in midair!
Pulsar is up and he scales the top rope and signals for the end. Pulsar flies and connects with the flying leg drop! Pulsar with the cover here, but Little Guido is able to kick out at the last second. Guido is slow to his feet now as Pulsar goes for a corkscrew splash, but Guido catches him and drills him with a backbreaker! Guido makes the cover and he gets a near fall, but Pulsar manages to kick out at the last second.
These two have pulled out all the stops in this match, which has gone longer than both of their previous matches. They continue to trade the offensive for several few minutes. The final moments of the match saw Little Guido attempt to come off the top rope with a missie dropkick, but Pulsar dodged it! Guido tried to slide up, but Pulsar connected with him a sliding dropkick! Pulsar now grabbed a hold and connected with the… CRADLE PILE-DRIVER! Pulsar covers now for the 1-2-3! He got him! Pulsar darts out to the floor to celebrate his definitive win as Little Guido is tended to by Big Vito and The Big Don in the ring.
WINNER: PULSAR
*Malia Hosaka is joined backstage by Vader, who tonight will challenge for the International Title. Vader says tonight, he will do what The Great Muta, Tatsumi Fujinami, Sabu and Gary Albright have failed to. He will beat Masa Chono right in the center of the ring and he will take the title. Vader says first it’s Chono and then he wants another match with Bam Bam Bigelow because he knows the Beast in the Beast will never be The Man. It’s time, it’s time, it’s Vader Time!
. . . . COMMERCIAL . . . .
*Pulsar is standing by with Malia Hosaka to discuss his win over Little Guido. Pulsar puts over Guido as a hell of a competitor and then says he would like to challenge World Light Heavyweight Champion Jushin Thunder Lyger at Barely Legal ’96. Pulsar has nothing but respect for Liger and says it would be an honor to take on a legend in his own time like Liger for the most prestigious title in the world today, the World Light Heavyweight Champion.
MATCH TWO
THE PITBULLS W/ STEVIE RICHARDS & THE BLUE MEANIE
VS. BLITZKRIEG & KID KASH
15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
REFEREE: MIKE CHIODA
Joey Styles comments on The Pitbulls looking as fearsome as ever, but wonders if that will still be the case when The Eliminators eventually catch up with them! Stevie Richards is also showing his half of the Extreme World Tag Team Titles as he and The Blue Meanie dance around the ring before the bell. Kid Kash is dressed similarly to Kid Rock, an artist who is making waves with his latest independent album. This is Kash’s first appearance in XPW, but he has made waves in the USWA and in the UWA.
The Pitbulls are brutal as they attack the young Blitzkrieg at the bell. Pitbull #2 sends Blitzkrieg off the ropes and nearly turns him out with a clothesline. Blitzkrieg slides back into his corner and tags in Kid Kash, who surprises Pitbull #2 to sling to the top rope and comes off the top rope with a flying clothesline. Kid Kash hits the ropes and connects with a spinning heel kick and then a leaping DDT for a near fall. Kid Kash is looking impressive against the larger Pitbulls!
Kid Kash now makes the tag to Blitzkrieg, who also scales the top rope. Blitzkrieg comes off the ropes and flies off, but Pitbull #2 catches him and drives him into the canvas with a power-slam. Pitbull #1 now tags in and press slams Blitzkrieg and then drills him with a big elbow drop. Kid Kash now charges in, but gets booted in the face. The Pitbulls now set Blitzkrieg up and connects with the Super Bomb on Blitzkrieg! Pitbull #1 covers and he gets the three count! Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie dance around after the match as The Pitbulls glare into the cameras.
WINNERS: THE PITBULLS
*Paul Heyman, 911 and The Human Suplex Machine Taz are joined backstage by Malia Hosaka. Paul Heyman first sends a message to Dory Funk Jr. that XPW will never be able to remove him from power because he is simply doing his job to prevent bias! Taz then sends a message to Dan Severn that he might not wait until Barely Legal ’96. He might just joke the so-called Beast out next week right here next week on Extreme Warfare if he feels like it! Paul then closes with a message to Brian Lee that he has started something he can’t finish because he now has to deal with the one-man wrecking crew that is 9-1-1!!!
. . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . .
*Malia Hosaka is joined backstage by The Gangstas. New Jack boasts that even though he and Mustafa did not get their hands raised at Barely Legal, they left walking out on their own. The Public Enemy had to be carried out like the bitches that they truly are. New Jack says as far as he is concerned, he and Mustafa are done with The Public Enemy because they are nothing but straight-up pussies! Malia Hosaka questions whether The Gangstas will live to regret those comments, and then sends us back up to the ring.
MATCH THREE
SABU
VS.
DISCO INFERNO
15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
REFEREE: PEE WEE MOORE
The homicidal genocidal suicidal Sabu is looking to bounce back from losing the World Light Heavyweight Title under questionable circumstances to Jushin Thunder Lyger at Barely Legal ’96. Disco Inferno happens to be his unfortunate opponent tonight and he gets absolutely mauled from bell to bell. Sabu throws Disco out to the ramp after the match and connects with a moon-sault on Disco.
Sabu then suplexes Disco out onto the ramp and hurls him back into the ring. He then pulls Disco up and then drives him into the canvas with a pulling pile-driver. Sabu then climbs up to the top rope. Sabu then points to the sky and then flies off with the Arabian Facebuster! Sabu covers and he gets the 1-2-3! Sabu gets a huge win in matter of minutes here on Extreme Warfare!
WINNER: SABU
*Cactus Jack and Mikey Whipwreck are with Malia Hosaka backstage. Cactus has to give it up to Taz because he got his hand raised at Barely Legal ’96, but Cactus is not going to let things die. The interview is then interrupted by The Full Blooded Italians! Little Guido tells Cactus Jack to stop crying like a little bitch about tapping out to Taz! Cactus laughs and says he never tapped, but Little Guido did get pinned by Pulsar right here tonight! Guido shouts that he was cheated… but then Mikey mocks him as a loser. Guido then turns around and looks at The Big Don and Big Vito… and they jump Cactus and Mikey! We now have all five of these men brawling around the backstage area…. Until Dory Funk Jr., prelim officials and wrestlers break them up.
. . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . .
*A very angry Ron Simmons is standing by with Malia Hosaka. Simmons cuts Malia off as she goes to ask a question and says he wants to know just what the hell is going on around here! Simmons says first of all, Shane Douglas used every damn trick in the book to steal the belt from him. Now, he hears that Raven and The Sandman will wrestle next week to determine the #1 contender. Ron wants to know just how in the hell that’s possible because he is owed a rematch. Malia can’t give him answers so Simmons says maybe Butch Reed was right about XPW. Next week, he will make sure to make his point very clear to whoever becomes the so-called #1 contender.
MAIN EVENT
INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
MASA CHONO
VS.
THE MAN THEY CALL VADER
TV TIME REMAINING
REFEREE: MIKE CHIODA
The Man They Call Vader is looking as intense as ever as he bounces off the ropes and waits for Masa Chono to make his way down to the ring. Chono recaps that Chono won this title back in December and has held the title ever since, earning wins over the likes of Sabu and The Great Muta. Tonight, he faces former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, former WWF Heavyweight Champion… The Man They Call Vader. Vader and Chono square off in the center of the ring as our main event begins.
The bell rings and the two lock up several times, before Vader takes the advantage with a chop to the throat. Vader then kicks Chono in the gut and sends him into the corner, where he lays into Chono with a running clotheslines. Vader tosses Chono out of the corner and connects with a leaping knee drop and then follows up with an elbow on the back of Chono’s neck. Vader goes for a second elbow drop, but Chono moves out of the way and then catches Vader with a brutal kick to the face as Vader gets to his feet.
Masa Chono then comes off the ropes and connects with a roaring elbow, but it’s not enough to put away Vader this early in the match. Masa Chono goes for a DDT but Vader blocks it and hurls Chono backwards into the corner. Chono slowly comes out of the corner, but Vader pulls him in and drops him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Vader proceeds to focus on Masa Chono’s back and right leg for the next severalminutes and goes to grab his shoulder, but Chono pulls him into a backslide for a near fall.
Once these two wrestlers back to their feet, Masa Chono catches Vader with a boot to the chest and then goes for the DDT once again, but Vader blocks it for the second time. Vader changes the momentum and manages to plant Chono in a power-slam that puts him down on the mat. Vader goes off the ropes and goes for a big splash, but Chono rolls out of the way and Vader crashes into the canvas. Chono is quickly over and makes the cover, but somehow Vader manages to kick out! Chono picks Vader up and hoists him into position and then finally connects by driving Vader into the DDT!
Masa Chono sets one foot on Vader’s chest as the referee counts one-two- Vader slides his shoulder off the mat! What a lazy cover by the champion! A frustrated Chono then lands a leaping knee drop to forehead and makes the cover again, but again Vader kicked out! Chono is clearly getting more and more frustrated here and now he lifts Vader up and connects with a second DDT and then makes his way up to the second rope. Chono comes off and connects with flying knee drop and this time it should be over!
Chono makes the cover and referee Mike Chioda makes the count for the one-two-NO!! VADER KICKS OUT ONCE AGAIN! Chono is up now and perches, he charges with a Yakuza Kick! Vader dodges it! Chono whips around and gets a belly-to-belly suplex from Vader! The big man is up, he hits the ropes and this time he connects with the big splash! Vader stays on top with the cover for the 1…2…3! We have a new champion! We have a new champion! Masa Chono’s six-month reign as International Heavyweight Champion has come to an end at the hand of Vader!
Vader celebrates with the belt… as we see Bam Bam Bigelow walk out onto the ramp and motion that he wants the gold!

Right now, however, Joey Styles would like to welcome the most dangerous man in the UFC today to Extreme Warfare… Dan ‘The Beast’ Severn!
An entourage surrounds Dan Severn as he walks down to the ring. Severn looks all business as Joey asks just how he is preparing to face the Human Suplex Machine at Heatwave ’96. Severn is no-nonsense as he explains that he prepares for everyone opponent by analyzing their strengths and weaknesses. Taz is just like any other wrestler, boxer or bare-knuckle brawler… he has his weak points! Severn will find them and exploit them to shut his mouth at Heatwave ’96.
The interview is then interrupted as ‘War Machine’ by Kiss, bringing out Paul Heyman, 911 and ’The Human Suplex Machine’ Taz! Heyman is smug as ever as he tells Severn that Taz is the complete fighter… a man who has no weaknesses when the bell rings. To prove this, Paul has signed Taz to compete in a wrestler vs. MMA fighter match two weeks from tonight here on Extreme Warfare against former UFC competitor John Hess! Paul then extends an invitation for Severn to grace us with his presence in two weeks to sit in the front row for the match. Heyman has gone so far as to personally purchase Severn a ticket to witness the destruction of one of the most dangerous MMA fighters in the world!
Dan Severn then tells Paul Heyman that he will in fact be back here in two weeks, and he believes John Hess will teach Taz a lesson in respect. Taz snickers and then barks that he’ll never have respect John Hess. He’ll never have respect for Dan Severn. He’ll never have respect for Dory Funk Jr. Taz says they're all bitches and he can’t wait to choke them all out in the middle of this ring! Taz then looks into the camera and challenges John Hess to beat him if he can… survive if Taz lets him! Severn and Taz stare each other down as we go to a VTR promoting Heatwave ‘96.
MATCH ONE
SEAN MORELY W/ FRANCINE
VS.
KID KASH
10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
REFEREE: PEE WEE MORE
Sean Morely is accompanied for this match by ‘The Queen of Extreme’ Francine, the manager of the newly formed Triple Threat. His opponent tonight is the young Kid Kash, who impressed a lot of fans last week by continually taking the fight to the much larger Pitbulls. Kid Kash manages to fluster Sean Morely in the early moments of this match with some arm-drags and head-scissors, but Morely is able to connect with a slap to the face of Kid Kash.
Kash doesn’t like that at all and connects with a super kick, but then misses a senton splash when he is tripped by Francine Sean Morely takes the control and works over Kid Kash for the next few minutes and almost gets the pin after a tilt-a-whirl back-breaker. Later in the match, Kash catches Sean Morely with a flying cross-body block and covers the man, making sure to hook Morely’s right leg.
Morely is able to kick out of the pin and rallies back and nails a series of right hands and then a gutwrench suplex. Kid Kash keeps coming at Sean Morely and even tries for a leaping DDT in the final moments of the match, but Morely reverses the move into a belly-to-belly suplex. Morely then pulls Kash in and connects with a Fisherman Buster to score the three count! Another tremendous by Kid Kash, but Sean Morely is able to score a big win.

Butch says he tried to war Ron that Paul Heyman and Dory Funk jr., but the one thing they do agree is not wanting Ron as champion! Butch hopes this whole scenario has caused Ron to wake up and realize that he has to take what he wants and not rely on this dumb-ass crackers that run XPW! Malia apologizes for Butch Reed’s comments and then sends us to a commercial.
. . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . .
*The brand new International Heavyweight Champion Vader joins Malia Hosaka backstage to talk about his win over Masa Chono last week. Vader knows Balls likes his chair – he dares Balls to bring a chair into the ring! Vader is The Man and not even a chair swingin’ freak can get the better of him.

REFERE: MIKE CHIODA
Cactus Jack and Mikey Whipwreck were involved in their own brawl with the Full Blood Italians, but tonight they find themselves up against Raven’s Nest. The Blue Meanie then calls for the music to as we here ‘I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper’ begin playing in the arena. The camera then pans to the ramp to reveal a man introduced by The Blue Meanie as… NOVA!!!!
Joey Styles can barely contain his laughter as Nova poses as if her were a superhero to the fans in attendance. Let’s just say the fans don’t react as if they were watching a superhero. However, when the bell rings, Nova impresses even the haters in the crowd with his innovative offensive style. He and Mikey keep the pace fast as they trade suplexes, splashes and dives in the ring and on the floor.
Cactus and Van Hammer eventually tag in and change the pace of the match to a straight up brawl. Cactus gains the upperhand and manages to catch Van Hammer in the Mandible Claw, but then flings him off the ropes. Cactus then boots Van Hammer in the gut and connects with the Double Arm DDT! He makes the cover and Mikey Whipwreck comes off the top rope with a missile dropkick on Nova to stop him from breaking the count! *The Extreme World Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas and Francine are making their way down to the ring for the main event and they join Joey Styles in the booth. Shane tells Joey that he doesn’t care who wins the #1 contenders match. In his mind, Raven is highly overrated and isn’t quite the mad genius that he thinks he is. Douglas then calls Sandman “a stinking drunk” and says the bottle will make sure Sandman doesn’t have a shot in hell of winning this match or the title. Joey rolls his eyes and says Shane just might be in for a surprise tonight.

XTREME PRO WRESTLING CATCH-UP POST MAY 17-JUNE 8
EXTREME WARFARE 5/17: - RON SIMMONS opened the show by apologizing to his friend BUTCH REED for not trusting his instinct. Simmons says it’s clear now that the powers that be are against him. Ron says he wants Sandman in the ring and once he beats his drunk ass, he will TAKE the title match against Shane Douglas. XPW President Dory Funk Jr. comes out and tells Ron to calm down – the plan all along was for Ron to face Shane Douglas right here next week for the Extreme Heavyweight Title on Extreme Warfare. Simmons calms down a bit and tells Funk – “That’s more like it!”
(1) Xtreme World Junior Heavyweight Champion JUSHIN THUNDER LYGER defeats SABU with the running Lyger Bomb at 23:45. This was a wild match that once again saw Lyger take advantage when Sabu appeared to injury his right leg when falling off the top rope. Lyger did not bother to check on Sabu after the match, but PULSAR ran down to make sure Sabu was able to walk.
- VTR: Joey Styles narrates a look at the UFC’s JOHN HESS, who will be facing the Human Suplex Machine Taz next week in a wrestler vs. MMA fighter match. We see clips from his UFC fights from the past year.
(2) THE ELIMINATORS beat THE BLUE MEANIE & NOVA (w/ Stevie Richards) when Saturn came off the top rope with the elbow drop on Nova at 7:01. THE PITBULLS came out on to the ramp and teased a fight with The Eliminators, but backed off at Stevie Richard’s request. Raven was nowhere to be found on this week’s show.
- THE SANDMAN and CHASTITY are giving an interview backstage, when they are jumped by RON SIMMONS! Simmons and Sandman brawl all over the backstage area and have to be broken up by Dory Funk Jr. and officials. Funk reprimands Ron Simmons after the brawl is broken up.
(3) ‘PRIME TIME’ BRIAN LEE defeats SIMON DIAMOND in record time when he connects with the Prime Time Slam and scores the pin in 19 seconds.
- PAUL HEYMAN, TAZ and 911 are all standing by. Heyman says next week, the viewers will get a preview of what is in store for DAN ‘THE BEAST’ SEVERN at Heat Wave ’96! Taz is serious as a heart attack and he promises to make John Hess tap out in front of the world… and in front of Dan Severn next week!
(4) International Heavyweight Champion VADER defeats BALLS MAHONEY with a Vader-Bomb off the second rope at 9:34. This hard-hitting match is followed by BAM BAM BIGELOW entering the ring and challenging Vader to face him for the belt at Heatwave ’96. Vader agrees and these two go nose-to-nose.
- Extreme World Heavyweight Champion SHANE DOUGLAS, FRANCINE, SEAN MORELY and BAM BAM BIGELOW join us from their dressing room. Douglas says he should not be having to defend the belt so close to Heatwave ’96 – but it doesn’t matter! Douglas and The Triple Threat will keep the gold next week – and hell, THE SANDMAN might just take care of this problem for him between then and now!
(5) THE GANGSTAS beat THE PUBLIC ENEMY in a violent brawl that goes all over ringside and even into the stands, when New Jack busts a hockey stick over Johnny Grunge’s back and then scores the pin. The win is a short-lived triumph as Flyboy Rocco Rocco commandeers New Jack’s staple-gun and uses it on both The Gangstas! The Public Enemy lost the battle – but they left The Gangstas in a bloody mess!
PULP FICTON PROMOS:
CACTUS JACK and MIKEY WHIPWRECK talk about getting the FBI in the ring next week, and Cactus promises to show them that he’s hardcore!
BRIAN LEE promises that 911 will take a ride in a Prime Time Slam once he is able to get his hands on him.
STEVIE RICHARDS talks about Raven going into a slump after being cheated by THE ELIMINATORS last week. Stevie says the only thing that will get him back on track is having Saturn and Kronus destroyed by… THE PITBULLS, who are shown seething with rage!

XTREME PRO WRESTLING CATCH-UP POST MAY 17-JUNE 8
EXTREME WARFARE 5/24
- DAN ‘THE BEAST’ SEVERN opens up the show by taking his seat at ringside. Joey Styles gets a few words from Severn, who says whatever happens tonight, he will come out on top at Heatwave ’96.
(1) TAZ (w/ Paul Heyman & 911) defeats JOHN HESS by making him tap out to the Taz Mission at 7:02! Hess holds his own, but Heyman gets in a cheap low blow while the referee’s back was turned. Taz then drills Hess with a T-Bone Taz Plex and then locks in the Taz Mission to score the submission!
- TAZ, PAUL HEYMAN and 911 gloat in the ring, but DAN SEVERN has seen enough. Severn hops the rail and gets into the ring, but he’s blind-sided by 911. This brings out BRIAN LEE, who storms the ring and begins brawling with 911! Taz now squares off with an irate Dan Severn, but officials, prelim wrestlers and DORY FUNK JR. swarm the ring to make sure this doesn’t break out right here on Extreme Warfare!
(2) BAM BAM BIGELOW & SEAN MORELY (w/ Francine) defeat International Heavyweight Champion VADER & BALLS MAHONEY when Bigelow manages to drill Mahoney with a clothesline and then a slingshot suplex to score the impressive win at 10:11!
- THE SANDMAN and CHASTITY are none too pleased about what happened last week. Sandman says he is not about to get punked out by a piece of shit like Ron Simmons, who whined and cried until he finally got the Extreme World Title on the 10th try. Sandman says nobody gets away with what Ron Simmons pulled last week. Nobody!
(3) THE FBI (w/ The Big Don) beat CACTUS JACK & MIKEY WHIPWRECK when Little Guido manages to pin Cactus Jack with a Tiger Driver at 16:14! Cactus and Mikey are stunned by the loss as the FBI celebrate after the match.
- PULSAR sends a message to World Junior Heavyweight Champion JUSHIN LYGER. The masked man says Lyger was been showing a killer instinct in the last few weeks, but he’s facing a man at Heatwave ’96 who has always had that same killer instinct!
(4) SABU defeats BLITZKRIEG in a wild contest that sees both men throw caution to the wind, until Sabu is able to connect with a DDT off the top rope to score the win at 13:46.
- THE ELIMINATORS want a match with THE PITBULLS and they want it right here next week on Extreme Warfare! Dory Funk says that sounds like a great idea and makes next week’s tag match for the #1 contendership!
(5) Extreme World Heavyweight Champion SHANE DOUGLAS (w/ Francine) defeats RON SIMMONS (w/ Butch Reed) with the belly-to-belly suplex at 19:20. A ref bump late in the match sees Butch Reed hit the ring and drill Douglas with a shoulder-block, only for THE SANDMAN to run down and cane Reed! Simmons gets up to his feet – and gets caned as well by the Sandman! Sandman spits on Douglas and takes off, while the referee pulls himself up. Douglas is up first and connects with the belly-to-belly to save his title in his first defense!
PULP FICTION PROMOS
CACTUS JACK tells MIKEY WHIPWRECK that he let Mikey down tonight. Just like he did against Taz! Maybe he’s not as hardcore as he thought he was! Cactus walks away, leaving Mikey shocked.
SHANE DOUGLAS gloats that he didn’t even need his Triple Threat by his side tonight because he beat Ron Simmons all on his own! Even Francine looks confused by that comment.
International Heavyweight Champion VADER says even though he is going in to Heatwave ‘’96 as the champion, he is the one with something to prove against Bam Bam Bigelow.
THE PUBLIC ENEMY talk about their upcoming Double Tables match against THE GANGSTAS at Heatwave ’96. Flyboy Rocco says he and Johnny are apart of the first generation who are more afraid of living than dying – and they won’t think twice about taking themselves down if it means bringing The Gangstas down with them.
RON SIMMONS is boiling as he tells The Sandman that he is a walking dead man!

EXTREME WARFARE 5/31
- RON SIMMONS is sitting in the center of the ring and says he will not out of the ring until he is given a rematch against Shane Douglas. DORY FUNK JR. comes out and says Ron is going about this all wrong. He would have given Ron a title rematch if he had just asked – but now he can’t respond to these kind of tactics by rewarding him. Dory says the only thing he can give Simmons is a match against The Sandman next week. Simmons says that it isn’t good enough and refuses to leave… so Funk has a dozen security officers cuff Simmons and escort him out of the building. Simmons quietly seethes as he is thrown out of the Olympic!
(1) PULSAR, SABU & KID KASH defeat International Heavyweight Champion JUSHIN THUNDER LYGER, SHIRYU and MIGUEL PEREZ JR. when Pulsar connects with a Cradle Piledriver on Shiryu to score the pin at 19:23! Lyger darts out of the ring after the match as Pulsar eyes him.
- VTR: DAN ‘THE BEAST’ SEVERN says Taz put on quite a show last week, but he proved himself to be a cheat and a back-jumper. Severn says he will put on an exhibition of his own next week on Extreme Warfare, when he holds THE DAN SEVERN OPEN CLINIC! We then go to DORY FUNK JR., who says after last week, he is preventing Severn and Taz from having any physical contact until the PPV!
(2) THE PITBULLS (w/ Stevie Richards) defeat THE ELIMINATORS, thanks to RAVEN returning before the match and laying out Saturn with the Raven Effect DDT on the steel ramp! The time of the fall was 8:39. This time its Kronus fighting on his own and although he puts up a great fight, he falls to the Super Bomb! The Pitbulls become #1 contenders – but will they actually even face off against Raven and Richards?
- THE SANDMAN and CHASTITY are interviewed, and Sandman makes it clear he was not trying to help out SHANE DOUGLAS last week. Sandman says he will kick Ron Simmons’ ass next week, then it is Shane’s turn at Heatwave ’96.
(3) THE GANGSTS beat BALLS MAHONEY & AXL ROTTEN when New Jack puts Axl Rotten through a table with a suplex to score the win at 8:02. New Jack and Mustafa have clearly sent a message to The Public Enemy ahead of their Double Tables match!
- MIKEY WHIPWRECK talks about his singles match against Little Guido next week, and mentions that he wants CACTUS JACK in his corner. As far as Mikey is concerned, Cactus will always be the King of Hardcore.
(4) SEAN MORELY (w/ Francine) defeats ALEX WRIGHT when he connects with the Fisherman Buster at 11:13.
- VTR: TAZ trains with mixed martial artists ahead of his match against DAN ‘THE BEAST’ SEVERN at Heatwave ’96.
(5) BAM BAM BIGELOW beats BUTCH REED with the slingshot splash at 12:45. Reed seems distracted following Ron Simmons being ejected from the arena, and ends up getting dominated by Bigelow for the latter half of the match.
PULP FICTION PROMOS:
‘PRIME TIME’ BRIAN LEE challenges 911 to face him one-on-one at Heatwave ’96 so everyone can finally see what happens when it’s the chokeslam against the Prime Time Slam!
THE PUBLIC ENEMY got the message from THE GANGSTAS earlier tonight. Flyboy Rocco says it might not just be Double Tables at Heatwave ’86 – it might five, six, or ten tables if that’s what takes to finish this!
LITTLE GUIDO and THE FBI gloat about Cactus Jack showing himself to be a loser last week on Extreme Warfare. Guido says it will be Mikey’s turn next week!
Extreme World Heavyweight Champion SHANE DOUGLAS and FRANCINE gloat about next week’s match between The Sandman and Ron Simmons. Douglas says as far as he is concerned, he hopes they kill each other! The Franchise roars with laughter as the scene fades.
