Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, “Welcome to the first edition of ‘International Championship Wrestling. We are excited to present a new version of wrestling. We have the stars from all over the World. We are coming off an exciting show at Madison Square Garden. Chris Adams is still here, and he is the Texas Champion. Gino Hernandez is still the American Heavyweight Champion, Tatsumi Fujinami retained the World Title. The Midnight Express are the new American Tag Team Champions, in the biggest news of all, the Von Erich Brothers are the International Six Man Tag Team Champions. They will defend the titles today. They face the superstar Japanese team of, the World Champion, Tatsumi Fujinami, Antonio Inoki, and Jumbo Tsuruta. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance, and we will see a newcomer to WWI.”

Rick Martel vs. Johnny Rodz
Martel is a superstar from Quebec City. He is a former World Champion. Rodz is a long time WWF veteran. Rodz is rugged, and wrestles a very physical style. Martel is smooth, and very effective. He uses the flying body press for the win,

Hercules w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Bob Marcus
Hercules was victorious over Ray Candy, and now is even more confident. He goes right after Marcus. Hercules uses his impressive strength to work over the youngster. He clamps on the full Nelson, and Marcus submits.

The Midnight Rockers vs. Mike Reed and El Diablo
The exciting Midnight Rockers debuted at “Holiday Star Wars”. They were very impressive. Shawn Michaels opens for his side, Reed for his. Michaels uses his athleticism to control the action. Jannetty tags in and continues to dish out punishment. El Diablo tags in, but the Mexican masked man fares no better. The Rocker dropper ends things.

Non-Title Match
Gino Hernandez (American Heavyweight Championship) w/Gary Hart vs. Dale Veasey
Hernandez retained the American Heavyweight Title in New York. The rugged Alaskan will be a good test. Veasey is aggressive, and it takes Gino by surprise. He slows the pace, and now the Champion is in control. Hernandez is very sharp, and wins with the elbow drop.

Bill Mercer and Fritz Von Erich are seated in the studio.
Mercer, “Welcome fans, I’m here with a man with a new title. The new President of World Wrestling International Fritz Von Erich. Fritz, congratulations, tell the fans what is going good on.”
Fritz, “Thank you Bill. When we decided to recognize the WWI World Champion it opened a lot of doors for us.WWI wanted to expand to North America, and they asked us to spearhead it. One thing led to another, and I was elected president. I’m honored to have been chosen. What this means is the best wrestlers in the world will be on our shows. The top guys from Japan, Mexico, South Africa, Europe, and others places will be in action.”
Mercer, “That is very exciting. I know there are many exciting things in the works, including a big show in Tokyo.”
Fritz, “Yea Bill, on February 23, we will be at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo for a show called “Voyage”. The card is being put together right now, but we a,Easy know about two matches. First of all, the World Champion, Tatsumi Fujinami will defend the title against, the Mexican Champion, El Canek.”
Mercer, “Canek is a legend. That will be a great one. I also here some of our Champions will be in action.”
Fritz, “Negotiations are still going on, but I can announce one match. WWI is going to crown World Tag Team Champions. The Japanese Champions are a masked team called the Super Strong Machines. They our going to face, the new American Tag Team Champions, the Midnight Express. Their manager, James E. Cornette, sounds like a loudmouth, but the tag team is very good.”
Mercer, “Well, we have previously recorded comments from Mr. Cornette"
We see James E. Cornette tennis racket in hand.
Cornette, “Tokyo, Japan! We spend one day in this organization, and we’re on top, and everyone is afraid of us, so we have to go to Japan. When we get there we have to wrestle two circus clowns in masks. Well, when Loverboy Dennis, and Beautiful Bobby, get through with them, they’ll be wearing those masks for the rest of their lives, They’ll be so embarrassed, they won’t want anyone to see their faces!”
Mercer,“Mr. Cornette is very confident. The news is exciting, and stay tuned to this program for more information,”

Tiger Mask (World Jr. Heavyweight Champion) vs. Mike Graham
Tiger Mask won in New York City, but he was attacked after the match by a man wearing a very similar outfit. No one seems to know who he is. Tonight, Mike Graham is the opponent. Graham is a fine wrestler. Mike mat wrestles, and Tiger Mask returns with his high flying moves. Graham looks very good, but Tiger Mask is at another level. He uses the Tiger suplex for the win. As David Manning raises Tiger Mask’s hand, the same masked man attacks. Tiger Mask is caught from behind and he has no defense. The masked man stomps away. Tiger Mask is in a heap. The masked man takes the mic, and says, “Tiger King!” What does that mean? Who is this?

Lowrance, “With me are the new International Six Man Tag Team Champions. Gentlemen, congratulations.”
Kevin, “Thank you Marc. It wasn’t easy, but we came out on top.”
Lowrance, “There a lot of top teams gunning for you. You can’t overlook the Legion of Doom, but tonight, you meet, three of the top wrestlers in Japan, World Champion Tatsumi Fujinami, the legendary Antonio Inoki, and the powerful Jumbo Tsuruta. This will be a challenge.”
Kerry, “Good, that’s what we want, we want to face the best, and these Japanese guys are the best, but we’re ready!”
Lowrance, “What a main event we have.”

“Gentleman” Chris Adams (Texas Champion) vs. Eric Embry
Adams won the Texas Title, and sent Jimmy Garvin, and Precious, packing. Tonight, he meets a fine young wrestler in Eric Embry. Adams is very sharp. He works over Embry. Eric is game, and he puts up a good fight. Chris uses the superkick to finish things.

International Six Man Tag Team Championship
The Von Erich Brothers (Champions) vs. Tatsumi Fujinami, Antonio Inoki and Jumbo Tsuruta
This is a main event in any arena in the country. World Wrestling a International is providing the best in wrestling action. Joe Higuchi, the top referee in Japan, will call this one. Kevin starts for the Von Erichs, and Tsuruta fir his side. They lock up and we are underway. Kevin gains control, but the powerful Tsuruta mounts a comeback. Mike tags in, and tries his hand. Tsuruta uses his strength to gain control. He tags in Inoki. The Japanese legend works over the younger Von Erich. Inoki tags in the World Champion. Fujinami traps Mike in the corner. Mike escapes and tags in Kerry. The “Modern Day Warrior” is a house afire. The action gets more intense until all six men end up in the ring. Higuchi cannot control the action. He calls for the bell, and disqualification.

Mercer, “International Championship Wrestling has hit the ground running. What a night of action! Join us next week. We will talk more about WWI Voyage, and what a main event we have, the battle between Gary Hart and Skandor Akbar continues, the One Man Gang takes on Kamala! Don’t miss it!”
