SHOWCASE JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: FIRST ROUND
Rip Rogers vs. Scott Armstrong
Before the match, a video clips is played. Rogers is shown making a challenge for a pose down to anyone in the back for this week. And, sure enough, Rogers makes that challenge again. Platt says he should focus on the match here. Davey Rich comes out.
If this were an official contest, the judges would have ruled for Rogers. But, the fans get the vote here. And, Rich wins hands down. Rogers is angry and throws Davey through the ropes to the floor and runs Rich’s head into a pole. An angry Rogers gets back into the ring. Scott Armstrong is in and greets the arrogant one with a superkick. Rogers eats it on his chin and is pinned. Armstrong leaves Rogers to kick at the ropes

*Porkchop Cash b. Sal Bellomo
Talking to Stuart at the desk, Cash says that he has tried calling Dream Machine at home to convince him to leave the “influence” of Izzy Slapowitz. He has gotten no response. ‘Chop still vows to be there for his friend, even if he has to suffer many beatdowns to do it.

CONTINENTAL HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: FIRST ROUND
Tony Atlas vs. The Flame
Another video recaps Atlas getting pummeled by Flame and Ron Fuller after Tony gave Fuller everything he could handle in an arm wrestling match. Tony still shows some effects from last week and the masked man is able to work on and wear down his right arm. Still, Atlas manages to get The Flame in position for a sleeper late. He can’t clamp down, though, and winces in pain. He has to let go and Flame lifts Tony into a standing hammerlock. Atlas does not give up but McMurray protects the young star by stopping the match. The Flame moves on. Ron Fuller comes out and helps himself to some cheap shots. Scott Casey comes out with a board to clean house,

*Scott Casey b. Randy Barber
During the match, The Flame and Fuller are back out. They destroy the cowboy hat Casey brought to the ring and laid on the desk. Barber stops Casey from getting to the floor. After bulldogging Barber for the win, Scott goes to the floor. He is shown holding what is left of his hat, as the program goes to break.
