Mercer, “Welcome to ‘American Championship Wrestling’! In one week, we will be at the world’s most famous arena. Madison Square Garden is sold out, and the excitement is on the way! We have a great lead in show tonight, the Von Erichs are here, as are the Legion of Doom. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance and get things underway.”

Ray Candy w/Gary Hart vs. The Assassin
The massive Candy has a date with Hercules in a “Cuban Barrio Street Fight”. Tonight, he goes right after the masked man. The Assassin is overwhelmed. He fights back, but Candy is too much. He uses a powerslam for the win.

“Gentleman” Chris Adams vs. Rick Renslow
Adams challenges Jimmy Garvin at ‘Holiday Star Wars’, the loser must leave ACW. The rugged Alaskan will be a good test. The bell rings, and a Renslow is very aggressive. He has Adams trapped in the corner. Chris fights his way out of the corner. Adams now has the momentum. He lands a superkick for the win.

The Legion of Doom (International Six Man Tag Team Champions) w/Paul Ellering vs. Zane Smith, Mike Reed and Bob Marcus
The Champions meet the Von Erich Brothers at MSG. The eyes of the wrestling world will be on that match. The Barbarian starts with Marcus. The big man from Minnesota is very aggressive. He works over Marcus, and then tags in Hawk. Hawk is a house afire. Smith tags in to try his hand he is in quick trouble. The big man, Animal, tags in. Reed comes for his team. He has no chance. The Warriors use the doomsday device for the win.

Gino Hernandez (American Heavyweight Champion) w/Gary Hart vs. Dale Veasey
Gino has a tough matchup with the Iceman. Tonight, it’s the man from Alaska. The first few minutes are very even. Hart seems frustrated. He shouts instructions. Gino mounts a comeback, and wins with an elbow drop.

Lowrance, “December 22 is fast approaching. ‘Holiday Star Wars’ is right around the corner. We will be at Madison Square Garden three days before Christmas. The Garden is sold out, and here is what the big crowd will see.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan takes on Kamala the Ugandan Giant
The Great Kabuki meets Ernie Ladd
In a ‘Cuban Barrio Street Fight’, Hercules takes on Ray Candy, the match is no disqualification, no count out, wrestlers may wear what they want to the ring. To win the match, you must knock out your opponent for a ten count.
For the American Tag Team Championship, the Fantastics defend against the Midnight Express
For the WWI World Jr. Heavyweight Championship, the exciting Tiger Mask defends against the tough Mexican luchador Negro Navarro.
For the Texas Title, in a loser leaves ACW match, ‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy Garvin defends against ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams
Iceman King Parsons challenges the American Heavyweight Champion Gino Hernandez
The WWI Champion Tatsumi Fujinami defends against the Spoiler

Fritz Von Erich is seated at his desk in his office.
Fritz, “December 22 is going to be a big night in wrestling. ‘Holiday Star Wars’ is going to be one of the most exciting nights I have ever been involved in. Now for the big announcement. Antonio Inoki, and Giant Baba, are the two biggest names in Japanese wrestling. They have both joined World Wrestling International. You know that we recognize the WWI Champion. I won’t completely tip our hands, but I will tell you, an agreement has been signed. What type of agreement, you’ll find out on December 22.”
We go back to Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “A little bit of information from Fritz Von Erich. What type of agreement? This has to be big.”
We see a commercial about a VHS tape of ‘Holiday Star Wars’. They are available for $29.99. A number and address are given.

The Von Erich Brothers vs. Los Diablos and Black Gordman
The three Von Erich Brothers come to the ring and the New York crowd goes crazy. Their popularity knows no bounds. Kevin starts against a Gordman. The Mexican veteran is ready, and looks very good. Kevin fights his his way back, and tags in Mike. The younger Von Erich works over Gordman. Diablo #1 tags in, and tries his hand. Mike tags in Kerry, and the “Modern Day Warrior” goes to work. He punishes #1, and #2 enters and tries his luck. Kerry is too much. He lands the discus punch for the win.
Winners-The Von Erich Brothers
Marc Lowrance is with Iceman King Parsons.
Lowrance, “With me is Iceman King Parsons. Iceman, you have the chance of a lifetime in New York. You meet Gino Hernandez with the American Heavyweight Title at stake.”

This should be a scientific encounter. It starts with a handshake. The action starts fast. Mantell is ready for action, and he takes the fight to Parsons. Iceman fires back. We have a fast paced contest. Parsons takes over and wins with the butt bump. Parsons is ready for Hernandez.

The Fantastics (American Tag Team Champions) vs. Eric Embry and Eddie Gilbert
This should be another scientific encounter. Tommy Rogers opens the contest with Gilbert. It is a lively, fast paced, contest. Both men have their chances. Rogers goes for a sleephold, but Gilbert reaches the ropes. Embry tags in and tries his hand. Fulton tags in, and things begin to go the Champions’ way. They use the Fantastic flip for the win.
