Lowrance, “Welcome to American Championship Wrestling. I’m Marc Lowrance, Bill Mercer is on assignment. We are at the Mid-Hudson Convention Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. ‘Holiday Star Wars’ is right around the corner. and tonight, we have a big announcement about the show. We’ll get to that later. We have a great main event, Young Eddie Gilbert will challenge the Texas Champion, ‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy Garvin. The Champion has a loser leaves town match against Chris Adams. A lot to talk about, and a lot to see. Let’s go to Joe Rinelli.”

Hercules w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Mike Reed
Akbar is wheeled out in a wheelchair still,wearing dark glasses. Hercules isn’t handicapped. He goes right after Reed. Hercules is so powerful. He batters Reed, and the youngster has no chance. Hercules clamps on the full Nelson, and Reed quickly submits.

Gino Hernandez (American Heavyweight Champion) w/Gary Hart vs. Bob Marcus
The Champion has a tough match with the Iceman in New York. He is very sharp tonight. He punishes Marcus, and covers him. He pulls up Marcus at two. Referee David Manning warns him. Hernandez continues to attack, and wins with an elbow drop.

Brian Adias vs. Dale Veasey
The popular Adias takes on the tough Alaskan. Veasey is very aggressive, and Adias is in retreat. Brian is able to regroup. He fights back, and now Brian is open control. He uses a sunset flip for the three count.

Kerry Von Erich vs. Rick Renslow
The crowd goes crazy as the “Modern Day Warrior” makes his way yo the ring. The other member of the Alaskans waits for him. Kerry starts fast. He works over Renslow, and the crowd reacts to every move. Renslow tries to fight back, but Kerry is too much. He clamps on the iron claw for the win.

What a night it’s going to be. We can add one more match tonight. We have a Heavyweight Champion, and now we have a Jr. Heavyweight Champion. The exciting, young, Tiger Mask won the title in a tournament in a Tokyo. Let’s see the Champion in action.

Antonio Inoki, and Giant Baba are wrestling legends. They have held titles all over the globe. Inoki, and Baba, have joined World Wrestling International, and will be at Madison Square Garden. Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. The Assassin
Duggan remains one of the hottest stars in wrestling. The masked man may be in trouble. Duggan is very aggressive, and he is relentless. He takes over and the Assassin has no chance. Hacksaw hits the spear for the win.

Marc Lowrance is with Jimmy Garvin and Precious.
Lowrance, “With me are the Texas Champion, and his valet, Precious. Mr. Garvin, this might be one of the last times we speak with you. You have the loser leaves town match with Chris Adams.”
Garvin, “Don’t make me laugh Lowrance! Could you imagine ACW without ‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy, and Squeeze here? There’s no way I’m losing to that dumb Englishman, Precious and I Are going to be around for a long time!”
Lowrance, “Alright, Tonight you meet Eddie Gilbert. That’s going to be a test.”
Garvin, “Again, Lowrance, don’t make me laugh! That punk is as big of a loser as Adams, we’re not worried about Eddie Gilbert!”
Lowrance, “Mr. Garvin is very confidence, should he be?”

Ray Candy and The One Man Gang w/Gary Hart ve. Johnny Mantel and Brickhouse Brown
These two giants make Hart well stocked to challenge Akbar and his monsters. Brown starts against Candy. Brickhouse tries to use his speed, but Candy catches him. He works over the youngster, and Brown is in trouble. He is able to escape and tag in Mantell. The cowboy from Montague County starts fast. He goes right after Candy. Ray is able to withstand the attack. He tags in OMG. The Giant overpowers Mantell, and wins with the 747 splash. Hart’s men are ready for Akbar.

“Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin (Texas Champion) w/Precious vs. Eddie Gilbert
Young Eddie Gilbert has the chance of a lifetime. If he can knock off the Champion, he will vault to the top of the rankings. Garvin is his usual arrogant self. They lock up, and Gilbert goes to work. He wrestles Garvin to the mst, and the Champion is in early trouble. Jimmy gets to the ropes and referee Bronko Lubich calls for a break. Gilbert continues to look good, but zharbin uses his aggressive tactics to gain the edge. There is a commotion in the aisle. Chris Adams comes to ringside. He shouts encouragement to Gilbert. Garvin is distracted by Adams. He turns to yell at Adams. Gilbert rolls him up. Lubich counts the fall! What an upset! Garvin is outraged. Adams laughs and he and Gilbert leave the ring area.
