*Tojo Yamamoto presents Sunshine a frying pan for cooking after a Nick Kiniski win.
*Roy Lee Welch hits Scott Armstrong with a crown to score a pinfall in a tag match.
*Rip Rogers brags about his potential with the ladies after a win against Angelo Mosca, Jr.
*Tony Atlas repays Ron Fuller for a beatdown by causing him to lose a first round match in the Continental Heavyweight Tournament to Scott Casey.
Anne Murray tells the fans to stay tuned for “Continental Wrestling Showcase on CMT”.
Platt and Stuart welcome the fans to the show, as well. They review the brackets for the tournaments coming up in Continental Wrestling Showcase. Both the Huntsville and Mobile Super Cards will be shown live on CMT.

Thornton dominates Ash here and calls out for Rotten Ron Starr, who upset Thornton recently. Looking at the brackets with Stuart after the match, Les says he will be pulling for Starr to beat Davey Rich for the chance to even the score in the semis.

*Scott McGhee b. Al Snow
McGhee says that he knows that he could be in for one tough week, as he is entered in the TV and the Junior tournaments. But, his training and the help of the fans are more than enough to carry him to gold.

*The Devil’s Duo (Jeff Sword/Doug Vines) w/Izzy Slapowitz b. Joe Lightfoot/Mark Ragin
Mike Davis and Tommy Lane come out to offer commentary. When Sword won’t release the cobra hold on Ragin, the Rock N Roll clear the ring with chairs. Davis says that this “Addams Family Show” needs to be canceled quickly.

*Bob Armstrong b. Billy Joe Travis
Bob tells Charlie, at the desk, that, if he had to make a choice, tagging with his son Steve to win the Showcase Tag Titles with his son Steve would mean more than singles gold. Randy Rose comes out and says he would love to make that happen. The Wrestling Pro, CWS’s Commissioner, comes out and tells Rose to go back and prepare for his first round tag match coming up next. Rose warns Pro once again to “quit sticking his nose into his business”.

*SHOWCASE TAG TOURNAMENT: FIRST ROUND
Pat Rose/Randy Rose w/Ron Fuller b. Bobby Jaggers/Steve Doll by COUNTOUT.
After making a hot tag to Jaggers late in the match, an exhausted Steve Doll is dragged to the back by Yuri Gordienko and Alexis Smirnoff. Jaggers goes after his partner and McMurray has no choice but to count out the big man. Randy Rose calls for The Wrestling Pro “to chew on that for a while”. Platt and Stuart close the show.
John Conlee tells the fans to tune into CMT next week for more first round matches.
