Broadcast: November 18, 1984 @ 8 PM on CMT

Ricky Skaggs tells all the Country Music Television fans to stay tuned for great grappling action.
Platt and Maclin welcome the fans to the show.
A highlight package from the November 17 episode of “Continental Wrestling Showcase” is shown. The spots include:
*The Wrestling Pro, the CWS Commissioner, and Ron Fuller, the Tennessee Stud, have confrontations. The Stud Stable of Fuller, The Flame, Randy Rose, Pat Rose, and Roy Lee Welch are introduced. Wrestling Pro counters by bringing out Bob, Scott, and Steve Armstrong.
*The Devil’s Duo w/Izzy Slapowitz are in action
*Davey Rich and Rip Rogers wrestle to a draw.
*Tojo Yamamoto tells Sunshine to go home and cook.
*Bobby Jaggers saves Steve Doll from a Russian beatdown.
*The Flame watches and comments on a Scott Casey win.
BREAK
Tojo Yamamoto is out with Charlie at the desk. Tojo says he has no regrets about his comments to Sunshine. The whole world should take their cues from Japanese culture. His two new men, Banzai (Phil Hickerson) and Dirty Rhodes (Virgil-San) have done just that. Both of the “former Americans” are in the ring. Nick Kiniski and Kevin Kelly come out, with Sunshine, and want some “satisfaction” for the chauvinist comments by Yamamoto. Tojo will only agree to a singles match. Kiniski goes against Virgil-San.
*Virgil-San w/Tojo Yamamoto and Banzai vs. Nick Kiniski w/Sunshine and Kevin Kelly
Hickerson pulls the leg out from under Kiniski on a vertical suplex attempt. Tojo holds the leg down to prevent a kick out. Nick is pinned. A four way fight takes place after the match.
BREAK
*The Rose Cousins (Randy/Pat) d. The Battens (Bart/Brad)
Corey brings up the Showcase Tag Tournament that will conclude in Mobile, Alabama on New Year’s Eve. The Roses will be entered. During the match, Bob and Steve Armstrong are out with Wrestling Pro to do some scouting. After the match, Rose brings up history he has with Pro and says if “Baxter feels froggy, let’s jump”. The Cousins back up when Bob and Steve start to step into the ring.
BREAK
*Porkchop Cash b. The Green Hornet
The interview with Maclin, at ringside, hardly gets started when Cash is blindsided by another masked man. Maclin shouts, in surprise, that it is The Dream Machine, a man Cash thinks of as a brother. The Machine spears Cash and rolls him into the ring. A piledriver leaves Porkchop face down. On the other side of the ring. Izzy Slapowitz has come out with an evil grin on his face. Slapowitz and Dream Machine walk to the back together. Platt says he is shocked by this turn of events.
BREAK
*”Professor” Bill Ash vs. Scott McGhee
Plat tells the fans that both these men are scheduled to compete in the Showcase Junior Heavyweight Tournament that will conclude at The Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville on Christmas Night. McGhee tries for a flying body press from the top turnbuckle to win. Ash rolls through the move and grabs a handful of tights at the end. Referee Tommy Weathers counts three. Quickly rolling out, Ash points to his temple, as he leaves McGhee in the ring. The Professor tells McGhee “Class is dismissed”.
BREAK
*Checkmate b. “Maniac” Chris Colt w/Izzy Slapowitz by DQ
Once again, Platt references a title tournament that is on the horizon here in the Continental Wrestling Showcase. On New Year’s Eve, the Showcase TV champion will be crowned. Both men here will compete in that tournament. Colt is continually admonished by Weathers to break on the ropes. When the ref finally calls for the DQ bell, both Slapowitz and Colt get in his face. Checkmate goes to the floor for a chair and cleans house. With a distinctive British voice, a bloody Checkmate vows to Maclin “this will not happen again”.
Emmylou Harris tells the fans not to miss “CSW on CMT” next week.
