LARRY SHARPE AND his stable join Bill and Steve as they review the events from last week where Mark Van Halen saved Sam Houston from an injury from Kendo Nagasaki, then signed as his tag team partner for Oct 7!


Larry is livid!

“Last week this PUNK Mark Van Halen dared to stick his nose into Larry’s Lounge! Mark Van Halen, you a rookie, and Sam Houston another rookie, dare think you can challenge THESE men for the World Tag team titles October 7 in Corpus Christie???

"Mark Van Halen you are the most magnificent physical specimen to come through this region EVER. Sam Houston, I will give credit where credit is due: your high flying athletic ability has caused me headaches in the film room for months. BUT keep in mind, BOYS, you will be entering the world of MEN, THESE MEN, Sunday October 7 and when it comes down to the world tag team championship, we will once again prove that the REAL MEN are from the Eastern Bloc, and the BOYS are from America!

The bell rings but what a weird moment as Nagasaki stands motionless, with his arms raised in the air. McGhee approaches but Larry Sharpe jumps in and pleads for some more time as it appears Nagasaki is in a strange trance. .. . . . McGhee is asked to back off by the ref, argues with him and then the ref argues with Sharpe, then turns his attention back at Nagasaki:

THE MIST! THE REF DOESN’T SEE IT BUT MCGHEE FLOPS DOWN ON THE RING HOLDING HIS FACE IN AGONY AS NAGASAKI CLIMBS ON TOP OF HIM AND THEN APPLIES THE BURMESE SPIDER CLAW!!!

MCGHEE FLIES AND FLAILS BUT CAN’T GET OUT OF IT AND THE REF RINGS THE BELL AT 1:04!!! BUT NAGASAKI WON’T LET GO!!! THE REF REVERSES THE DECISION, MCGHEE ON A DQ BUT SPITTLE AND BLOOD COMES OUT OF MCGHEES MOUTH AND MIXES WITH THE GREEN BILE COVERING HIS FACE AS THE SADISTIC ASIAN MADMAN WON’T LET GO OF HIS MYSTICAL MANEUVER OF TORTURE!

Finally, NIKOLAI VOLKOFF AND BARON VON RASHCKE COME IN AND ARE FORCED BY AN EVEN WORRIED LARRY SHARPE’S COMMANDS TO PULL NAGASAKI OFF MCGHEE, THEY FINALLY DO and Sharpe throws a towel off Nagasaki’s head as he is lead out of the ring by his stablemates, fans this is BEHAVIOR EVEN LARRY SHARPE AND HIS STABLE CANNOT EXPLAIN!!!! WHAT DOES THIS BODE FOR DICK MURDOCH WHEN MUST DEFEND HIS WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE AGAINST THIS FORMIDABLE FORCE OF NATURE IN CORPUS CHRISTIE OCTOBER 7?

After the match, Steve Stack announces Scott McGhee has been taken to the hospital and the announcers kill time interviewing Larry Sharpe and his charges grilling them about Kendo Nagasaki.

Larry: “Steve Stack--- Scott McGhee knew damn well what he was signing off for when he agreed to meet Kendo Nagasaki, and yes I will tell you my man is an unpredictable athlete. I knew that when I mortgaged my nightclub in New Jersey to purchased his contract. Dick Murdoch, I hope you paid attention because what just happened to Scott McGhee could happen to you October 7 in Corpus Christie!

Bill: “What about the mist, Larry Sharpe, that seems in my mind to give your man an unfair advantage before combat even beings!

Larry: “Mist? What mist?

Bill: “All right, well fans that’s the way its gonna be, let’s take another look at live Championship Wrestling from Houston action coming YOUR way and then we will be back with the last match of this week’s card!

Boy, what a dangerous moment in the Murdoch/Nagasaki feud!! And, poor Scott McGhee has to feel the brunt of it. Great build for the tag title match on this card, as well.
