Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, “Welcome to ‘American Championship Wrestling’! We have some great wrestling action for you tonight, the Super Medicos, a masked team from Puerto Rico, , take on, a new young team, Eric Embry and Eddie Gilbert, Hercules Hernandez, along with the Man who outsmarted Gary Hart, are here, as is Kevin Von Erich who is in our first match. Let’s go to Joe Rinelli!”
Match #1
Kevin Von Erich vs. Rick Renslow
The popular Texan meets a tough guy from Alaska. Renslow is very aggressive, and Kevin returns in kind. The match is fast paced, and hard hitting. Kevin takes over, and wins with the Von Erich iron claw.

Hercules Hernandez w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Bob Marcus
Akbar has a great one on his hands. The fact he outsmarted Gary Hart makes him even happier. Hercules is all over Marcus. Akbar looks supremely confident, as Hernandez dishes out punishment. He clamps on the full Nelson for the submission. As referee Rick Hazzard raises Hercules’ hand, Ray Candy hits the ring. It takes several wrestlers from the back to pull them apart. This situation is getting more intense.

“Gentleman” Chris Adams vs. Dale Veasey
Adams has come so close to taking the Texas Title from Jimmy Garvin, but Jimmy keeps escaping. Veasey is another tough Alaskan. He goes right after Adams. Chris fights back, and we have a slugfest. Adams begins to take control. He finishes Veasey with a superkick.

Ray Candy w/Gary Hart vs. El Diablo
The rivalry between Candy and Hercules boiled over earlier. Candy attacks the masked man. He hammers away. Diablo is in trouble. Candy overpowers him, and wins with a Powerslam. Skandor Akbar, and Hercules Hernandez come to the ring. Akbar grabs the mic.
Akbar, “Hart, Candy, we’re not cowards! We aren’t going to jumps you from behind. We came out here to make a challenge. When we go to New York in December, Candy, why don’t you get in the ring with Hercules in a ‘Cuban Barrio Street Fight’! You dress any way you want, there are no rules, and whoever can’t answer a ten count loses!”
Hart grabs the mic.
Hart, “Skandor Ak-A-Bar, you got a deal! You just bring that big, dumb, Cuban, and Ray Candy will be waiting for you!”
It looks like we have a match for “Holiday Star Wars”.

Marc Lowrance is with the Von Erich Brothers.
Lowrance, “With me are the Von Erich Brothers. Gentleman, we know that you have been not on the trail of the Legion of Doom. We know you want a shot at the International Six Man Tag Team Champions. We are waiting to see when this match will be signed.”
Kerry, “We want them as soon as we can! They know we are the best six man team in wrestling, that’s why they keep ducking us!”
Kevin, “Like Kerry said, any time, any place! We’d like to wrestle them in New York. It’s a big show for ACW, and we’d like to win it at the big show. The fans are behind us, and we want to win it for them.”
Lowrance, “The fans would love to see this!”

Ernie Ladd w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Al Madril
Two top veterans meet. Madril gives up a lot of size, but he makes up for it with skill. The early moments of the match go back and forth. Ladd is frustrated by the smaller Madril. The tide turns in Ernie’s direction. He lands a big boot for the win.

Bill Mercer and ACW President Fritz Von Erich are seated in the studio. A banner that reads, “Holiday Star Wars, Madison Square Garden” hangs behind them.
Mercer, “With me is ACW President Fritz Von Erich. The holidays are approaching, and that means ‘Holiday Star Wars’. This was a staple in Texas wrestling, but like everything else, this part of wrestling has changed.”
Fritz, “You’re right Bill. Thanksgiving, and Christmas, are my favorite times of the year, and wrest,I got has always been part of it. This year we are headed to New York, and. Madison Square Garden.”
Mercer, “They call it, ‘The World’s Most Famous Arena’, and it has a rich wrestling history.”
Fritz, “It sure does, and we want to add to it.”
Mercer, “I know you had several announcements, but a couple more have been added based on this week’s program.”
Fritz, “Yes we do. Based on what happened with Ray Candy, and Hercules Hernandez, we have added a ‘Cuban Barrio Street Fight’. Hercules and Candy will come to the ring dressed anyway they want. There are no rules to the match, anything goes. The winner must knock out his opponent for a ten count.”
Mercer, “That’s going to be a brawl.”
Fritz, “It will be. Those two will try to kill each other. Secondly, my boys have challenged the Legion of Doom for a six man title match. The Championship Committee, headed by Ed Watt, will meet this week and try to sign this match. You know who I’m rooting for in this one.”
Mercer, “You, and all the fans. That’s what we added tonight. What else can you tell us?”
Fritz, “Well, next we have an American Heavyweight Championship Match. Gino Hernandez will defend against Iceman King Parsons. Iceman has been chasing Hernandez, and he may catch him in New York.”
Mercer, “The Iceman Man just might be the New Champion. Now, I know you one final big announcement.”
Fritz, “Yes, and it’s very big. When the wrestling world changed, and the organizations went out of business, others, like ACW, started. People began to ask, where are the World Champions? Several started, but none of them seemed right for us, but that has changed. There is an organization called World Wrestling International, or WWI. They have offices all over the world, New York, Tokyo, Cape Town, South Africa, among others. The Board of Directors has decided to recognize the WWI World Champion. One week ago, in a tournament in Cape Town, Tatsumi Fujinami the World Title. He is a great Japanese wrestler, and will be a fine World Champion.”
Mercer, “The Dragon Man, he is a great wrestler.”
Fritz, “Here’s The Big News, in two weeks, Fujinami will be in ACW, and will wrestle on our TV program.”
Mercer, “That is big news!”
Fritz, “It gets even bigger, Fujinami has signed to defend the World Title at ‘Holiday Star Wars. His opponent will be announced when he appears on TV.”
Mercer, “Those are exciting announcements, stay tuned to ‘American Championship Wrestling’.”
Match #6
The Super Medicos vs. Eric Embry and Eddie Gilbert
This an interesting match up. The team from Puerto Rico are well known. Embry, has been joined by, another youngster, Eddie Gilbert. Medico #1 And Embry start the contest. Eric holds his own, and frustrates the masked man. Medici #2 tags in Embry matches him move for me. The action continues. #1 and Gilbert end up in the ring. Eddie holds his own, but the masked man tries every dirty trick in the book, but Gilbert rolls him up. Referee Rick Hazzard counts three! A great win for the youngsters.

Kamala w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan
This has brawl written all over it. David Manning will try to control the action. Good luck! The bell rings and the fight is on. Kamala chops, and kicks. Duggan responds with American rights and lefts. Akbar and Friday shouldn’t instructions to Kamala. Duggan goes for a slam, but Kamala blocks it. This allows the Ugandan to gain control for a while. Duggan fights back. It looks like he is going Control when the Missing Link hits the ring. He and Kamala Orr over Duggan. Down the aisle come all three Von Erichs. They help a Duggan clear the ring. What a brawl!
