ROSS: Welcome to All PRO WRESTLING! I'm Jim Ross along with wrestling great Johnny Weaver. John, we have a great hour for the fans!
WEAVER: No doubt about it, Jim Ross! Ronnie Garvin will wrestle for the first time since being injured by Jos LeDuc! The big Canadian Freight Train is also here in a match this week! Killer Khan will take on Don Kernodle! Jimmy Valiant asked for any Stud Stable member and he got exactly what he asked for: The Boogie Man will take on “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer! Also, in non-title action, International Champion Barry Windham will take on Krusher Kruschev in a non-title match! I'm sure Krusher's comrade, Nikita Koloff will be watching closely!
ROSS: All of that, plus Jim Crockett is here with news about the Labor Day Spectacular, originating from the Mid-South Coliseum and airing live on the Nashville Network! Let's go to the ring where Gary Michael Capetta will introduce our first match!
Ronnie Garvin vs. Jake Milliman: Garvin looks great as he returns after the injury at the hands of Jos LeDuc. Garvin takes “The Milkman” apart this week and pins him after a big right hand.
COMMERCIAL
Jos LeDuc(w/JJ Dillon) vs. George South: LeDuc demolishes his rookie opponent this week and gets a submission to vis powerful bearhug. After the bout, the brutal LeDuc refuses to break the hold! That brings Ronnie Garvin back to the ring! Garvin fires away with right hands and sends the big Canadian flying from the ring! As Dillon consoles LeDuc, “Dr. D” David Shults and King Konga join them at ringside! Fortunately for Garvin, Barry Windham, Mike Rotundo, & Jimmy Valiant enter the ring and stand by his side! Bob Caudle is standing by at ringside!
CAUDLE: I'm here with JJ Dillon and Jos LeDuc...Ronnie Garvin is back and looks tougher than ever!
LEDUC: Garvin, if you aren't a coward, I challenge you to my kind of match: A Canadian Lumberjack Match! We each pick five lumberjacks to surround the ring and they each get a leather strap! Nobody gets in or out! We fight until there is a winner! I put you in the hospital at the Orange Bowl and I'll do worse damage next time!
DILLON: The Outlaws are more dominant than ever! Ron Garvin, you still are feeling the effects of the last time that you stepped in the ring with the Canadian Freight Train! How foolish you must be to stick your nose in his business today! He hospitalized you last time! Next time, it could be a permanent disability!

David Crockett is standing in front of the Nashville Network logo.
DAVID: Labor Day at 8 o'clock live on the Nashville Network, it's a Wrestling Spectacular! It will be airing from the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis. There are still some good seats available at the usual ticket outlets. My brother Jim Crockett is here. Jim, it's shaping up to be a huge card!
JIM: We've already announced that the new Mexican Champion Fishman will defend his title against the great Mil Mascaras! We are negotiating to have International Champion Barry Windham and TV Champion Terry Taylor defend their titles. The International Tag Team Championship will be defended as Ivan Koloff & Krusher Kruschev will put the title on the line against Tony Atlas & Pez Whatley. Atlas & Whatley are looking to be the first ever black International Tag Team Champions!
DAVID: So, the Russians have let us know in advance which two of them will defend the titles?
JIM: David, I'm working hard to sign a match between Nikita and Windham for Windham's title. The Russians are being extremely hard to deal with and are making some outrageous demands. The fans are demanding this match and I'm doing my best to get it signed.
DAVID: Ok, how about Terry Taylor's TV Title?
Voice(off camera): I'm the man for that job, David Crockett!
DAVID: Well, look who's here!
Ric Flair walks out and joins the Crocketts!
FLAIR: Jim Crockett, you know that the Nature Boy is a guaranteed sellout at the Coliseum and a ratings bonanza on TNN! Gimme a chance to teach that punk a wrestling lesson and show the world the difference between a poser and the real deal!
JIM: Ric, here's the deal: I'm not only the promoter, I'm President of ALL PRO WRESTLING. When it comes to matches for the TV Title, it must be based on a wrestler's record in televised matches. Because of your busy schedule around the world, you simply don't wrestle on TV very much. A lot of guys are ranked ahead of you in the TV Title standings; names like Sgt. Slaughter, Jimmy Valiant, Jos LeDuc, Buzz Sawyer...
FLAIR: None of them are on the same level of Ric Flair, Crockett, and you know it!
Terry Taylor arrives on the scene, belt in hand!
TAYLOR: Ric, sorry to interrupt, but I have a suggestion....
FLAIR: You have the gall to come out here and offer me a suggestion? Who on God's green earth do you think you are?
TAYLOR: Look, a few years ago, I was in a similar situation. I wanted a title shot and they said I hadn't won enough matches in the territory. To make the match more attractive, I put my hair on the line....
FLAIR: NO! NO! A thousand times no! I've worked for Jim Crockett since 1974! Everybody from Blackjack Mulligan to Bobo Brazil to Ricky Steamboat has tried to get a hair match with Ric Flair! It's beneath me! I am the greatest of all time! Fritz Von Erich is opening St. Louis up. Guess who he called to headline the show? SLICK RIC! When they need somebody to wrestle Tsuruta or Baba in Japan, who do they call? The NATURE BOY! I am the gold standard in this sport! I don't do Jerry Jarrett/Nick Gulas chitlin circuit crap like hair matches!
TAYLOR: I wasn't thinking about your hair.
JIM: What, then?
TAYLOR: You seem to be awfully proud of that Mercedes of yours....How about the title(holding up belt) against your Mercedes Benz?
FLAIR: Tell ya what I'll do, son. Instead of flying in a Lear jet from Charlotte to Memphis and riding a limo from the airport to the Coliseum, I'll drive the Mercedes down. And, after the match, I'll drive it back home again...with that belt in the passenger seat! WOOOOO!
TAYLOR: Just bring the pink slip, Ric.
JIM: David, I'll leave and get that contract drawn up ASAP! I'll try to have more matches signed next week!
DAVID: Labor Day Wrestling Spectacular live from Memphis on the Nashville Network! It keeps getting hotter!

Killer Khan(w/Robert Fuller) vs. Don Kernodle: Kernodle gives the big Mongolian all he wants, but gets caught in Khan's dreaded Oriental spike. Referee Alfred Neeley stops the match, but Khan refuses to release the deadly hold! Finally, Kernodle's closest friend, Sgt. Slaughter runs in and makes the save for Kernodle!
COMMERCIAL
“Tennessee Stud” Robert Fuller is leading “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer to the ring as we come out of the break. When Fuller and Sawyer enter the ring, we hear...
“Boogie Woogie Man” Handsome Jimmy Valiant vs. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer(w/”Tennessee Stud” Robert Fuller): As could be expected, there's not one hold applied or one legal move executed. The two brawlers spill out to the floor and referee Jerry Calhoun counts them both out! During the fight on the floor, Valiant knocks Fuller down a few times as well as getting the better of the Mad Dog! As Sawyer and Fuller leave to lick their wounds, Jimmy dances in the ring!
COMMERCIAL
Barry Windham vs. Krusher Kruschev: The cameras catch Nikita watching from a dark corner of the arena as International Champion Barry Windham takes on his comrade in a non-title match. Kruschev takes it to Windham and gives him a tough bout. Barry finally gets the win after a powerslam, but he knows he's been in a fight. After the match, Nikita makes his way to ringside and yells at Windham.
